“Alexis was amazing & I will absolutely be using again! She did 1 hour drop-in visits for my 2 kitties for 8 days & went above & beyond my expectations. This was the first time I’ve ever had to leave them for an extended period of time, so it was also the first time I’ve had to hire someone to help take care of them, so I was pretty nervous. She came over ahead of time to get acquainted with them & myself, stayed in constant communication while I was gone, sent me lots of pictures & updates, & most impressive- got one of my babies to be snuggly & loving with her which is incredible considering their normal disposition around new people (hiding be pretty hissy/unfriendly). That alone let me know just how amazing she is with animals! When I came home their litter boxes were clean, their food & water were full, & they were both perfect condition. I’m so grateful for Alexis & how well she took care of my kitties while I was gone. I knew they were safe & well cared for which made being away from them 1,000 times easier! About: I’ve taken care of dogs all my life. Growing up we always had a dog, and we have had dogs of all sizes. I love making dogs happy and letting them run around and enjoy themselves! I’m new to this so please don’t hesitate to give me a shot at helping you out so I can gain some ratings and get myself out there more! I’m a full time student and a father. I go to school on Tuesdays and Thursdays but every other day of the week I am available. I am also available during weekends but those days would vary more than the week days. It’s going to be cold out soon, and I don’t mind walking dogs in the cold so you don’t have to! I have two dogs in my home! I let them out multiple times a day, make sure they get fed what they are supposed to be fed when they are supposed to be fed. And I love my dogs and I know everyone else does. I am blessed with the opportunity to have a more open schedule than most, and I want to help! Pet care can be stressful, but it doesn’t need to be.
About: I have been taking care of my 18-year-old cat since she was born. She has recently gone deaf and requires more attention. For two years, I frequently took care of a family with 5 children and 2 Great Danes. I give my cat attention daily, making sure she feels loved and content. This often includes filling her food, water, and changing her litter box, as well as many pets and cuddles. I would love to walk, play with, and take care of your pets. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
