About: I have grown up with cats and dogs throughout my life. Both of my grandparents have also always had them, so I am very familiar with how to care for them. I volunteered time with my grandma taking care of the animals and cleaning at the Dekalb humane shelter when I was younger. I just started walking my neighbors three dogs recently. I track these walks on Strava, and you can check that out if you’re curious about how far we walk and what the route looks like. I love animals so much that I choose to live a vegan lifestyle! I am excited to meet your pet(s)! Right now I have a part time job and no kids. I spend time working out, but that can be worked around easily. I may be unavailable if I have a boxing match, and I have practice 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8-9 a.m. on Saturdays. I prefer to care for pets at other people’s homes because we have three cats ourselves. I am very confident in my ability to care for pets. I am very capable so it’s okay if you have a dog that pulls pretty hard.

“Deanna has skills. When our reactive rescue got out of the car, Deanna kept her hands relaxed and at her sides. She continued to talk with us and did not look at our girl. This is exactly how to meet an anxious dog! And our Portia responded by walking right up to Deanna and sniffing her. Portia walked with Rick this walkie. But Portia did walk between Deanna and him. She would normally be as far from anyone not us, as she could get! Most excellent! Our Mr. Baloo has never met a stranger and he was happy to make her acquaintance! We have already rebooked! About: Ive been around all different animals my entire life mostly dogs so I am good with potty and leash training and I know ways to get an older dog around, i also have experience with blind and deaf dogs. I enjoy being around animals and im currently in an online program to become a veterinary assistant to further my animal education. I am good with kittens of all age as well as older cats. About: Animals have been a passion of mine all of my life. I have owned and cared for many species including fish, reptiles, birds, hamsters, dogs and cats. My love for animals brought me to work as a veterinary assistant and later to attend the Tom Rose School for Professional Dog Trainers. I have now been training and competing with my own dogs for 20 years and am also a professional dog trainer. As a trainer, I have earned the credentials to be an AKC Canine Good Citizen/S.T.A.R. Puppy/ Farm Dog/ Trick dog evaluator. With my veterinary assistant and dog training experience I have gained the knowledge to properly handle and care for many beloved pets. I can assure you that I will treat your pets as if they were my own. I am looking forward to meeting you and your furry family member! I am available most days. Mondays and Wednesdays I am unavailable between 9:00AM-5:00PM. I have plenty of time to provide services for you and your pets. If boarding in my home- you can use my kennel set up or bring your own crate. I have a nice, fenced play yard that I use to let my dogs and visiting dogs run and play (I do not let my own dogs play with visiting dogs). I also have a built-in dog bathtub that I can used to give your dog a nice bath (for an added fee) before they return home upon request. When I visit a home- I follow given instructions and keep the area clean. My goal is for you to not even notice I was there. When I visit to walk your pet-I follow instructions and keep the area clean. I remain aware and not distracted. This ensures your pet remains safe and engaged during the walk. If your dog is more fearful-I try to make the walk as stress-free as possible.

About: I have loved and have been owned by many animals for all of my 61 years. Caring for them is an honor I cherish greatly! I taught high school for almost 30 years at Concordia Lutheran High School and almost 8 years as a social worker. I’ve absolutely adored my students and clients and would like to shower my love on your pet-angel(s) as well! I have recently retired from my careers as a high school teacher and from social work. What this means is that I now have ample time to spend with your pet(s) each weekday and weeknight as well as on the weekends! create my own schedule on an as-needed basis for you…plus I usually have weekends free for ample time with your pet. I love to walk, play and give lots of love and attention so those will be incorporated frequently! I will treat your pet(s) and home with the utmost respect as I do my own. I will stay in frequent contact with you and will take pictures throughout the visit and send updates each night so you can be assured of my service and your pet’s well-being.

About: I’ve been helping out my friends and neighbors by feeding, walking, and checking up on their pets. I also was an intern this year at a vet clinic. I’m also currently a freshman at Purdue studying animal science, so I’m learning about all types of animals and their needs. During my college breaks I’ll have a lot of time to take care of many animals and provide quality time with them without having to be rushed. I have a lot of experience with taking care of many different sizes and breeds of animals and I’m able to crate them when needed. As well as being able to help with any of their needs. Working at a vet clinic gave me lots of experience in many different situations with all types and sizes of pets.

About: I have been taking care of my 18-year-old cat since she was born. She has recently gone deaf and requires more attention. For two years, I frequently took care of a family with 5 children and 2 Great Danes. I give my cat attention daily, making sure she feels loved and content. This often includes filling her food, water, and changing her litter box, as well as many pets and cuddles. I would love to walk, play with, and take care of your pets. At home, I make sure my cat has a clean litter box and plenty of attention.

June 2017-December 2017 I worked part time at the Allen County SPCA as the Communtiy Cat Coordinator. Prior to that I was an Animal Control Officer for the city of Fort Wayne which had been my full time job for 7 and a half years. I went to Purdue and graduated in 2009 with my Bachelor's in Veterinary Technology. I have worked in vet's offices and boarding facilities since I was 15 years old. I am now 37 years old, married, with 6 kids. We have a crew of dogs, cats, chickens, horses, sheep and mini donkeys. I also occasionally foster dogs for a local rescue. **About my home/services** I am very comfortable with any imaginable pet request, ie nail trims, walks, baths, etc. **About my neighborhood** We live on 15 acres with a pond. Lots of fun places for pups to play! **What to expect** We can provide plenty of interaction and exercise for your pet! Runs, walks, cuddles, play time, anything your pet wants! **Special rules or requests** We are open and flexible to your needs and requests. If you need anything don't hesitate to ask! We are very available on our cell phones and can send pictures and video and even facetime with your pet! I’m available any time for drop ins or walks. I do have a 2 year old at home so she will come with me usually for walks or drop ins during school hours. About: For as long as I can remember, I have always had an animal in my life. I got a puppy at a young age and cared for him up until the day he passed. Since becoming an adult, I adopted a kitten and continue to care for him. He is now 6 and the light of my life! I have an extremely flexible schedule! I currently work part time with a lot of availability. I’m available at almost any hour of the day. I currently have a cat but he has his own space if tensions were to rise. I have a mid sized unfenced yard, but I know of multiple dog parks. I’m available to cuddle up with animals or wear out some energy!

About: I’ve had dogs in my household since i was 9. I’ve dog-sat for multiple different families over the past few years who have had dogs and cats. I also have experience in taking care of lizards and turtles I am currently in college going to class a few times a week for a couple of hours a day. I work 8 hour days, two days a week and my availability otherwise is open for any and all animals. I love my dogs so much and I would do anything to make sure they’re being well taken care of. While caring for other peoples pets, I would make sure they’re getting plenty of love and being taken out and exercised as needed.

About: I am 21 years old. I have 8 years personal pet experience and will treat your babies like my own. I currently have 3 dogs a lab/husky, Australian Shepherd, and wolf hybrid. They were all rescues and now they’re my spoiled babies. I have an unfenced yard but have a trail that I walk my dogs on everyday they are also let outside to play in the yard and are always supervised. They are on a feeding and bathroom schedule. I also can administer medications and anything that your dog would need as 2 of my babies were previously on medication. About: Hi there! We’re a mother-daughter duo who love taking care of dogs! Our family has two loving dogs, Bojangles and Lexie, who are both rescues. They loves to run and play with other dogs and always have a blast with all of their friends. We are home during the day so there will always be someone here to take care of your furry loved one! I have experience as a veterinary technician and can administer medication. We have a 1.25 acre fenced in yard with a wooded area to play in as well. We do have four children ages 9-18, so we can only accept dogs that are not aggressive towards children. I work from home full time and my daughter is home as well. We have a very flexible schedule where at least one of us will always be there for your fur baby!
