This is exactly how to meet an anxious dog! And our Portia responded by walking right up to Deanna and sniffing her. Portia walked with Rick this walkie. But Portia did walk between Deanna and him. She would normally be as far from anyone not us, as she could get! Most excellent! Our Mr. Baloo has never met a stranger and he was happy to make her acquaintance! We have already rebooked! About: Animals have been a passion of mine all of my life. I have owned and cared for many species including fish, reptiles, birds, hamsters, dogs and cats. My love for animals brought me to work as a veterinary assistant and later to attend the Tom Rose School for Professional Dog Trainers. I have now been training and competing with my own dogs for 20 years and am also a professional dog trainer. As a trainer, I have earned the credentials to be an AKC Canine Good Citizen/S.T.A.R. Puppy/ Farm Dog/ Trick dog evaluator. With my veterinary assistant and dog training experience I have gained the knowledge to properly handle and care for many beloved pets. I can assure you that I will treat your pets as if they were my own. I am looking forward to meeting you and your furry family member! I am available most days. Mondays and Wednesdays I am unavailable between 9:00AM-5:00PM. I have plenty of time to provide services for you and your pets. If boarding in my home- you can use my kennel set up or bring your own crate. I have a nice, fenced play yard that I use to let my dogs and visiting dogs run and play (I do not let my own dogs play with visiting dogs). I also have a built-in dog bathtub that I can used to give your dog a nice bath (for an added fee) before they return home upon request. When I visit a home- I follow given instructions and keep the area clean. My goal is for you to not even notice I was there. When I visit to walk your pet-I follow instructions and keep the area clean. I remain aware and not distracted. This ensures your pet remains safe and engaged during the walk. If your dog is more fearful-I try to make the walk as stress-free as possible.

About: Ive been around all different animals my entire life mostly dogs so I am good with potty and leash training and I know ways to get an older dog around, i also have experience with blind and deaf dogs. I enjoy being around animals and im currently in an online program to become a veterinary assistant to further my animal education. I am good with kittens of all age as well as older cats. I hope you think about me when looking for someone to look after your babies, i will treat them as if they are my own animals. Thank you for taking the time to read this! About: I have been taking care of my 18-year-old cat since she was born. She has recently gone deaf and requires more attention. For two years, I frequently took care of a family with 5 children and 2 Great Danes. I give my cat attention daily, making sure she feels loved and content. This often includes filling her food, water, and changing her litter box, as well as many pets and cuddles. I would love to walk, play with, and take care of your pets. At home, I make sure my cat has a clean litter box and plenty of attention.

About: I’ve been helping out my friends and neighbors by feeding, walking, and checking up on their pets. I also was an intern this year at a vet clinic. I’m also currently a freshman at Purdue studying animal science, so I’m learning about all types of animals and their needs. During my college breaks I’ll have a lot of time to take care of many animals and provide quality time with them without having to be rushed. I have a lot of experience with taking care of many different sizes and breeds of animals and I’m able to crate them when needed. As well as being able to help with any of their needs. About: I have loved and have been owned by many animals for all of my 61 years. Caring for them is an honor I cherish greatly! I taught high school for almost 30 years at Concordia Lutheran High School and almost 8 years as a social worker. I’ve absolutely adored my students and clients and would like to shower my love on your pet-angel(s) as well! I have recently retired from my careers as a high school teacher and from social work. What this means is that I now have ample time to spend with your pet(s) each weekday and weeknight as well as on the weekends! create my own schedule on an as-needed basis for you…plus I usually have weekends free for ample time with your pet. I love to walk, play and give lots of love and attention so those will be incorporated frequently! I will treat your pet(s) and home with the utmost respect as I do my own. I will stay in frequent contact with you and will take pictures throughout the visit and send updates each night so you can be assured of my service and your pet’s well-being.

About: I've been taking care of animals since I was 18 years old. I am not intimidated by size or breed of dog or cat. I have cared for dogs, cats, guinea pigs, fish, turtles, horses, chickens, llamas, and a hedgehog. If owner was okay with it I took the dog to work with me or to a park to walk. I currently work part-time at a park on Thursdays and/or when someone needs coverage. I also attend church on Sundays. Otherwise I am available all days. I treat the animals as if they were my own. Play with them inside and outside when weather permits. I enjoy cuddling with them and enjoying their company.

About: I've helped train a ridgeback puppy so that he would get along with his brothers more, as well as his more senior brother knowing when to take it down a little to not get hurt. I am currently in graduate school, so I am available most afternoons and evenings, and weekends as needed for house sitting, but I'll be able to be available for potty breaks. I will ensure that the pets feel loved and cared for. I will engage in playtime with them so that they don't ever feel bored.

About: For as long as I can remember, I have always had an animal in my life. I got a puppy at a young age and cared for him up until the day he passed. Since becoming an adult, I adopted a kitten and continue to care for him. He is now 6 and the light of my life! I have an extremely flexible schedule! I currently work part time with a lot of availability. I’m available at almost any hour of the day. I currently have a cat but he has his own space if tensions were to rise. I have a mid sized unfenced yard, but I know of multiple dog parks. I’m available to cuddle up with animals or wear out some energy!

About: I am a loving mother of 2 and I will care for your pets as if they were one of the kids. I have dog sit before and loved it. When I was younger I use to volunteer at the animal shelter with my great-grandma and that's the reason I love animals today. I have flexible hours and can work around your schedule, anything you need I can do from dog baths to walks at the park. We also adopted a cat a couple of years ago, and we just love him to pieces. We also just adopted a dog that we have previously sat for. I’m looking to go do more things with the kids this summer so we will be able to fit in daily walks or anything needed I live in a well apartment community, with a few dog parks within! I currently work at a nursing home, my boyfriend and I work opposite schedules so someone is always at home with your fur babies. Also with it being summer I have my two kiddos help out. I will make sure each animal has proper care including a clean safe cozy shelter, clean water, regular bathroom breaks, going on walks for at least half an hour, who knows it could be longer, and so much more!
