“Jessica exceeded every expectation! I was out of the country for 10 days. Jessica house sat and took care of my two 11-year-old cats. My boy needs meds every morning and evening. She made great effort to make sure he got the meds, especially the first couple of days when he was getting used to her. She actually brought gates from her home and moved furniture so that she could give my boy his meds. She texted me every day with updates and pictures. I recommend her without hesitation. She's great!”

About: I’ve always been the kind of person who notices the animal in the room first. I’m patient, gentle, and naturally tuned in to little cues, the nervous glance, the excited tail, the cat who wants attention but only on their own terms. I try to make pets feel like their world has not been completely disrupted just because their person is away. That means keeping their routine familiar, respecting their quirks, and paying attention to the small things that make them feel safe. I’m happy to follow detailed instructions, send thoughtful updates, and adjust to each pet’s personality, whether they need playtime, quiet company, slow walks, extra reassurance, or simply someone calm nearby. This year, much of my work is remote, which gives me real flexibility in my schedule. That means I’m able to spend unrushed, attentive time with pets, not just quick check-ins, but actual companionship, care, and presence. I can shape my day around walks, visits, feeding times, play, and quiet company, depending on what each pet needs. My home is my cat Lilo’s safe little kingdom, so I can’t host other pets here. But I’m very happy to come to your home, meet outside for walks, or figure out a setup that feels easy and comfortable for you and your pet.

About: Hi, my name is Kristen. I am a recent graduate from West Chester University and have full availability for the summer. I have cared for dogs and cats since I was a teenager. I would pet sit for neighbors and friends. I've done visits or overnight stays to feed, play, and walk cats or dogs. I have watched more than one dog and cat a few times. I have more experience taking care of small dogs but would like to care for dogs of any size. I like to take dogs outside and give them good exercise by playing and walking. I love to give cats and dogs attention and play with toys. I also would like to bathe and groom them if need be. For the rest of the year, I will be working as a teacher and only be available for possible late afternoons and weekends. For the summer, I am available anytime during the week and on weekends. I care for pets in a client's home. I would do visits or overnight stay to walk dogs for at least 30 mins, depending on how many times a day. I change their food and water to feed them. I spend time with them by giving attention or playing with them. If caring for cats, I would clean and fill in a new litter too.
