“LaDonna took great care of our kitty. Chloe was happy and content and her old self when we returned. Thank you for caring for our girl while we were away for the holidays!”

About: I grew up in the country taking care of every type of animal you could think of! But my baby was our dog! She would do everything with me to taking care of the chickens to just snuggling on my lap. I’d feed, watered and groom our pets, and taking them on walks. I would be honored to take care of your pet as you would like. Reach out if you have any questions. I am a stay at home mom full time now, so your pet would be taken out on potty breaks from being indoors and I would take them on walks in the mornings and afternoons. On the weekends I we like to go on hikes & walks and would love to take your pet with us if we are able. I would be happy crating your animal if that is needed, or they would be able to roam around our house. We don’t have a fenced back yard as of yet, but will take them out on walks and bathroom breaks several times! We have a big space that is caged that they can enjoy sometime outside.

“Cierra is THE BEST! She is responsive, trustworthy, caring, and takes such great care of my cat when I’m on trips. I come home to a very content, calm cat, and have tons of great pictures from each visit. Highly recommend!”

“Kelly is awesome! First impression I knew she was the one for my sweet Angel! Angel cuddled up to her while Kelly petted her..don't stop. Lol. She was always on time at drop ins. Everything in tip top shape when we arrived back home. Would def have Kelly again!😊”

About: I've dog sat for family friends in the past, and anever had any problems. Almost every dog I meet loves me. I've also helped with our family pets I had growing up. One was a disabled golden retriever/lab mix that had 3 legs, the other was a jack Russell who came to have diabetes. I'm usually off work close to 3 or 4 and could walk in the evenings or sit on the weekends. I'm rather close to fort o, Ringgold and east ridge. Be attentive to their needs, monitor any issues they may have, prioritize play and using of energy, giving them/teaching basic commands while being the dominant and assertive figure for them to follow.

About: Hi! I am a stay at home mom in the Chattanooga, TN area that would love to care for your pets! I have been caring for friend's and family's pets since I was nine years old, from a rat named Hershey's to a Dogo Argentino named Snoopy (fish, cats, lizards, and chickens as well). I myself have had many pets since being a child including my current snuggly Pug, Chloe and a senior Shih Tzu- Terrier Mix, Mitzi. I have cared for all age pets from puppies/kittens to seniors. I have had my own litters, and helped others with their fur babies from basic training, walking, overnight care, and administering basic first aid and prescription medicine. Everyone that enters my home is considered family, including their pets! I would love to invite your little (or large) loved one(s) into my home to be loved and cared for. I take care of dogs and chickens daily, it is a special and rewarding part of my day. Animals bring me such peace, and caring for them is one of my greatest joys. I take impeccable care of both my pets and others, not only are they loved but they have a schedule they can rely on. When caring for pets in other's homes, I believe it is most important to treat their pets and home with total respect and detailed care. I also love to send photos/videos so pet parents can be rest assured that their pets are being lovingly cared for. I live on an acre with a fully fenced yard (six feet) for the pups to go in off leash and run around and play. I take time to slowly introduce pups so they can be comfortable with one another to play and socialize during their stay with me. I ask that you bring anything you feel will make their stay more comfortable for them treats, toys, bed, crate if they sleep in one, etc. I try to keep their stay with me as close to their home life in order to keep them on schedule and less stressful for them during their stay with me.

“Kelly was AWESOME with our pups! We had originally asked her to watch them in a month but with something coming up on short notice, she jumped on the opportunity to be over that very weekend as well! She sent many photos, was very professional and they absolutely loved her. Can’t wait to have her back!”

“Abigail was reliable and accommodated my cat’s sporadic schedule. She spent additional time socializing with him, resulting in his being much less sour toward us when we got home. Highly recommend!”

“Emma took wonderful care of our senior dog. We didn’t want to board her with our younger dogs as she’s more comfortable in our home. She was very happy when I came home and I could tell Emma did a fantastic job with her. I would highly recommend Emma to anyone. It’s very obvious she loves doing her job.”

I thank you for your time and look forward to being a part of your home and pet-sitting needs! Why I want to house sit I have been home and pet sitting more and more, and love every single new experience and opportunity that comes. I love the chance to see new and interesting places, as well as have city adventures near where I already live when those arrive also. I love the flexibility and chance to be of help and support to beautiful people (like you!) as well as their pets if they have any. (I am allergic to cats, so will consider assignments with cats on a case by case basis - I can take allergy medicine as needed. I'm very happy to pet-sit and care for most animals during assignments - having grown up with family dogs, I also greatly miss having my own!) I am lucky in that my work affords me the time and flexibility to travel more, also, which means house-sitting and pet-sitting is a perfect accompaniment to it all. (I also have dog obedience experience, and so am very happy to continue up any routine you have for the animal's consistency.) I am additionally very happy to help with any light household duties or gardening needs, so you can rest easily knowing those will also be taken care of for you. I have some Spanish and French speaking skills, and also greatly love the opportunity to test and strengthen my language knowledge. Therefore, non-English speaking locations will not be a problem for me, and I welcome and get excited with the opportunity when available! A responsive and responsible person, I am also very happy to give regular updates if you'd like, on how things are going and/or if there is anything that comes up that needs your notice - such as bills or any important phone calls and so on. I am a regular dog-walker, and have also house-sit more and more, so am very happy to assist with references should you like any. When house and pet-sitting, I am able to give pets bathroom breaks as often as the owners wish. I have put in that I can do so every 0-2 hours, however I am happy to amend this to whatever you rather! I greatly appreciate your time, attention and consideration of me with and for your house and pet-sitting needs, and am here to help should you have any thoughts or questions you'd like help with. Christa N.
“Our family from Florida and Indiana met in Chattanooga for Christmas and enjoyed the sites in the mountains and wonderful downtown dining. Traveling with our senior Shi-Tzu Demi, I hoped to find a last minute dog sitter so we could enjoy the Tennessee Aquarium and a top notch restaurant where pets are not permitted. I chose the first sitter on the list provided by Rover and it could not have work out any better. Christa is located within minutes of our planned events. Christa was so accommodating, so kind, and lives in a beautiful pet friendly building. Making plans for Demi the night before, during the week of Christmas, I didn't think it would be possible. Christa was a God-send. While in her care, we received pictures of Demi watching TV, taking walks and enjoying Christa's home. We all had a memorable, wonderful family time after this Covid year of separation and loss of loved ones. Christa....I don't know what we would have done with you! Sincerely.”
