About: I’ve been around animals my whole life, from growing up with cats and birds to caring for my shy rescue husky. I’m comfortable working with nervous dogs, senior pets, and administering medication when needed. My focus is always on creating a safe, relaxed environment where pets feel loved and care for. Pet care is women into my daily life. I plan my mornings and evenings around my husky’s walks, feeding and playtime. I’m organized and flexible, so I can reliably fit your pet’s care into my routine and make sure they feel happy and safe while you’re away. Pets feel most comfortable at home, so I focus on maintaining their usual schedule and environment. I carefully follow feeding times, walks, play and medication instructions, all while providing gentle care and plenty of affections to keep them calm and happy while you are away.

About: I have taken care of friend’s pets since I was a child as a side hustle. I pay close attention to the details of you and your animal’s specific needs to provide the easiest time possible. During the school year I am a grad student at UMD and can be very flexible. During the summer I work in office full time but am free after 6:30pm and on weekend. I promise to take care of your pet as if it were my own. I aim to offer your pet the most comfortable environment as possible, and be as communicative and flexible with you as I can.

About: I’ve taken care of pets all my life! I helped raise and take care of a Golden Retriever for 14 years in my childhood home until she passed away. Right know I have 3 elderly dogs who are my BFF's. I can't imagine my life without a furry friend. Also I've helped watch family and friends dogs since a young age. I love dogs of any kind and will love yours like my own! I’m currently working close to home with very flexible hours. I can work with your schedule to find the right time to care for your pets! I will approach your pet in a calm and slow manner until they feel comfortable with me. I have a fenced yard. My neighborhood is great for walks. Also depending on your preference with dog park/ walks, I typically take dogs for a 30 min walk (of course each dog is different in taking their time I fully respect that). If your dog is comfortable at the dog park, I’d love to take them there as well! My dog park is 20 minutes away (walking).I can accomodate dogs in crates or dogs that sleep on dog beds. In case of an emergency, I will always contact you first and take your pet to your preferred vet. I have a jeep which your dog will feel really comfortable in, so I am able to get your pet to whichever vet quickly!

About: I’ve had pets all my life and lost my French bulldog 2 years ago and I understand the stress of leaving your pet with a sitter. I’ve had puppies and taken care of elder dogs that need constant supervision or medication. I work full-time but have flexibility to work from home some days. I’m home on the weekends and have flexibility to make sure your pet is not left alone for long. I have a big fenced-in yard and lots of space in the house for your dog to roam. There are many nearby parks and trails for long walks.

About: I’ve had a dog for most of my life, I also recently got a pet turtle who I treat like my child! I am a nanny and most of the families I’ve nannied for have had pets that I’ve taken care of alongside the children. I’m a full time college student, looking for something to do during my free time! My schedule has hours in between classes, but I wouldn’t be able to work a regular daytime job. I live in a dog friendly apartment complex. We have a dog walking area around the building. I also have a car so I don’t mind traveling to your house if needed!

About: For over twenty years, I've taken care of pets. From family, friends', and neighbors' fur babies to working for a vet. I can care for all animals but cats (sorry, allergies) and even have experience with guinea pigs, turtles, snakes, and birds! I currently have three dogs and one rescued eastern box turtle. I love walking and playing with dogs and will treat your pet as if it were my own. If you have any special requests, please let me know. I'm happy to work with you. I'm currently not working a full-time job and have very flexible hours every day. I like to get up early and get going, so if you need me early just let me know! I'm leaving town a lot this summer, but my calendar will be updated regularly to reflect that. Since I'm only doing walking and drop-ins, I'll let you tell me what to do. I will be very careful on walks and ensure your dogs are safe, yet get their business done while having a good walk. In your home, I'll follow your rules to ensure your pet is safe, healthy, and happy while you're away.

About: My family used to board cats and dogs regularly when I was growing up, and I worked as a dispatcher for the Humane Society while attending community college. I work part time just five minutes from my house, so it's easy to ensure that dogs need not go very long without a walk. I have a fenced yard suitable for smaller dogs and easy access to the trail around Greenbelt lake for excursions. There are no other pets here to compete for attention.

About: I started my pet caregiving as a teenager caring for the neighbor’s dog and continue to care for dogs through HRA’s foster program. I adopted a dog and cat while living overseas and gladly care for my friends’ furry animals when they are away! I have experience caring for small to large size dogs and cats and will treat your pet as if it were my own! I work from home 3 days a week and generally have a very flexible schedule and have been able to seamlessly incorporate caring for new pups into my routine. I live in an apartment building that allows dogs and I have both a small and large crate to use as needed. I give the pups I care for plenty of potty breaks and quality walks multiple times a day. I also double clip dogs when walking, to both the harness and collar for extra security.

About: I am an owner of two dogs myself, and I have cared for, walked, and fed the pets of friends and family, and I love all animals and am eager to care for them as a job. My oldest dog is 15 years old and we rescued him when I was 6, and my second dog is 3 and she's a Goldendoodle. With owning two different dogs I have experience with different energy levels, food requirements, and general needs. I am good at taking directions and will follow them to a T! I look forward to looking after your pets. I am currently on summer break from college, and am looking for some extra work to save up money for the year! I heard about Rover and it sounded like a great and flexible opportunity to do something I like as a job, and other than days I am away on vacation I am highly available, especially on short notice, to sit, walk, and feed pets. As I have two dogs at home, I am not planning on hosting any pets in my home, but I can crate dogs in a client's home or manage them as they roam the house and backyard depending on the needs and wishes of the client and pet. I can follow the clients' directions very well, but I am also quite adept at regular pet caretaking skills as I have two of my own.
