About: Being a pet-sitter isn't just a way for me to make money. It's a way of life that aligns with who I am. I've always felt most at peace around animals. Growing up with pets they were more than just companions. They were part of the family. So the idea that I can combine that love for animals with something I do for work is truly fulfilling. I spent 10 beautiful, years with my partner in crime, a Great Dane named Padmé. Being a bigger dog, I feel confident handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Other than volunteering at the Young-Williams Animal Shelter where I've been trained in canine handling, this is my primary job. I am currently available Monday through Sunday starting as early as 6am until 8 pm. I am flexible and can work within your schedule. I provide a calm and quiet introduction to allow your pet to become acclimated to my presence. On walks, I allow pups ample time to sniff and explore their environment on the walk.

About: I have worked at a boarding kennel for the past three years and have been the main caretaker for my own two dogs and cat for the past ten. I have been a veterinary clinic assistant for the past year and have also had experience with exotic animals abroad. I am pursuing a career in animal care and appreciate any opportunity to further my experience and spend time caring for your furry family! I am a full time student at UTK and participate in army ROTC, however I can be flexible and make time, especially on the weekends. I can care for pets in any situation, kenneled or not. I am very flexible and can change any care preferences to your needs and/or standards.

About: I am a current veterinary student at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine, where I am pursuing companion animal medicine. I have spent the past 2 years working in a vet clinic, where a majority of my experience has been working with cats and dogs of all ages and sizes. I am new to Rover, but I have 10+ years of experience pet sitting and taking care of others’ fur babies! I am a full time veterinary student, typically at school 8 am - 5 pm, Monday through Friday. I can offer drop in visits a couple of times during weekdays, but I am available to spend more time with your pets on the weekends. I am unable to care for pets in my home, but I am more than happy to commute to take care of your pet(s) at your home. I strive to make your pet(s) feel loved and comfortable while you’re gone by playing and loving on them, taking them for walks, administering medications if needed, etc.

About: I’ve been a life-long pet owner, caring for dogs, horses, cats, and even chickens! I have experience working with all kinds of dogs, from nervous rescues to seniors who need a bit more attention. I work part time at a dog grooming salon. I try to pick up jobs between part time hours or collage classes during the school year. I’m only strictly unavailable between 10 pm and 6 am. I am more than happy to adhere to any accommodations or requests from my clients for any service! I highly value respecting the client’s pet and property.

About: Cats, dogs, hedgehogs, bunnies and pigs, I love them all! I’ve been a cat mom my entire life but have experience with dogs big and small, medication needs, and a variety of other furry critters. No matter what your fur baby needs, I’m ready to care for them. While I do work full-time, I’m an early riser and can do both early morning and afternoon/evening visits to make sure that your fur-babies are taken care of. I always ensure any pets I care for feel safe and loved. I am attentive to any unique needs they may have, as well as being mindful and respectful of my client’s homes.

“Brooke has been amazing with taking my dog on walks to make sure he gets exercise while I have to be gone. She is also quick to respond and very professional! Highly recommend!”

“Initially, I was anxious since it was my first time using Rover dog walking service. Kaylin was the first individual besides me that has walked Idris. She was very attentive to my baby’s needs. I’m still training my dog; and, she was happy to follow the “phases” I use when I’m with him. Consistent communication through texting and sending photos. From the photos she sent me, Idris was always smiling. She actually helped reassured me that my Idris is a social butterfly. Without a doubt, your dog will be in great, caring hands.”

About: Hello! I am new to this app, but I have taken care of dogs since I was 16 (3 years) in all forms: dropping in (x) times a day into owner’s home, bringing dog to my home (with my mom and dad that love dogs too!), staying in owner’s home, and dog walking. I am new to this app! I go to college at University of Tennessee, Knoxville. I have a flexible schedule and want to spend my free-time doing what I love- being with dogs! I live in a pet-friendly apartment right off the interstate- so I am an easy commute away from all directions in the Knoxville vicinity. I have a cavalier back at my home (Nashville), Scout, who is extremely gentle, quiet, and can’t get enough of being around other dogs.

About: I have had pets my entire life!!! From puppies and kittens to older dogs, I have been around a ton of animals! I have also worked with aggressive and shy dogs too! I am currently a student, so I have lots of breaks during the day in between classes! I do remote work as well so my schedule is pretty open! I have an apartment and plenty of space to take care of a dog. I am great with walking dogs and know a lot of parks and spots for dogs to play in the area!

About: I've taken care of my house dog since he was a puppy. I've also watched after neighborhood pets (including senior dogs and cats) for 2 years! I am working part time and will be in school so I have plenty of time to take care of your pets as long as I have a couple days notice :) I love playing with pets as well as cuddling or even just keeping them company (pets that don't like to play). I will also follow your pet care instructions as closely as possible!

Leanne S.

“Leanne was the best with my pup Stacy! Super communicative and reliable. I never had any worries and she kept me well updated.”

Kendra F.
“Kendra is the most caring, nurturing, loving pet care giver I have ever had experience with. She treats all pets as if they are her own; giving lots of love and attention, walks, snuggles, treats (as allowed), fun activities, etc. I call Kendra the "dog whisperer", as she just has a very unique calming effect on pets around her. She has two dogs and a cat of her own (since she was very young) and is the primary caregiver for those pets when she is back home in WI. Kendra has a heart made to care for animals! You will NOT be disappointed with her care. Your fur babies will want Kendra to come back again and again!”

Jessica U.
“Jessica has been a fantastic dog sitter for our two dogs. It’s obvious she loves animals and our dogs are always so happy when they see her. She’s also a vet student at UT which is great because one of our dogs requires weekly injections and she is trained to give injections which is a big relief when we are on vacation. I would highly recommend Jessica as a pet sitter.”

Addie W.

“Communicated great with me! Took great care of my dog and spent some time with her even when it was hot outside.”

Ella S.
“Ella’s love for animals has been life long and comes from within! She has grown up with multiple dogs at home, she rides horses, loves being at ‘the barn’ and finds so much joy fishing and being in nature. When not in class / studying, she works for a local dog groomer and helps out with chores and other needs/ camps at her barn. Her expensive knowledge and passion for the needs of animals is impressive, as is her love and care for them! ❤️ She is gentle, kind and extremely trustworthy when it comes to the safety, wellbeing and best interest of all animals!”

Haylie R.
“Haylie has been pet sitting for me for about 5 years now and I can say nothing but great things!! She is very communicative and always sends pictures of my cats playing. She is so caring and reliable.”
