About: I regularly pet sit for friends and family. 1-3 weeks mostly; but can do just a few days as well. Private home with a fenced yard. Dog lead in yard is available. I love to walk! Short or long walks are all fine with me. I’ve been around dogs my entire life. I’ve owned 3 in my adult life. I even fostered a dog for 9 months! It was hard to give her up; but she went to a loving home. I’m honest and trustworthy and dogs just make every day better! I work a pretty flexible schedule. I’m retired so I have lots of time. If your dog likes car rides and public parks…awesome! There’s also 2-3 dog parks not far from my house I have a big yard that's about 70 yards deep and I have a secured lead in both front and back yards. For added safety, I attach an air tag to your pets collar. There are sidewalks all around my neighborhood for safe walks on a leash. I'm not a fan of dog parks. I prefer to select my walking path to ensure your pets safety. I live alone.

About: My Why? I get to spend serious cuddle and play time with breeds of all shapes and sizes. I get to love on them and care for them like they are mine! Is there seriously any cooler job? Since making the move from Cincinnati to NKY, in order to keep my current clients, I am offering to meet near the airport. Fostering with rescues showed me how much I enjoy all the different dog personalities there are. It takes a special trust to leave your animal with someone else, and I don’t take that lightly. I work 2 days a week at St. Elizabeth hospital (CNA) so I can be home more to homeschool which means I’m home for many hours. On days I work, I come home on lunch for bathroom breaks and often times my SO tends to the dogs with me or for me. My kids love to help out, but they also understand that not every dog is cool with smaller humans. I do have crates and baby gates, but they aren’t used often unless needed. I like to have your dog's blend right into our home alongside ours. I provide limited ingredient easily digestible treats approved by you. I do NOT give real dog bones or people food to pets, not even my own. When we walk we take water with us every time. My family & I love playing chase in the backyard or throwing toys for fetch with all the dogs. Sometimes I book more than 1 Rover family at a time, I always make sure it's a good fit before doing so. I take pride in matching energy levels as well as age to balance out if certain dogs need space outside of the pack play time. Meet & Greets are invaluable opportunities for everyone involved! It often helps everyone to feel as ease, even your pet! Most of the time I plan for a short walk with you and your pet alongside my dog and then we follow up with off leash play in the dog park at my house. I do take in consideration the pets ability level when planning how the meet will go. For example, senior dogs may need to just see the play yard and inside the house where they will be relaxing. Every dog is different and I adjust accordingly. My schedule allows for endless outside time and couch naps for your pet to rest. Wake up and bedtimes are always good to know so I can keep the routine. Completely filling out your pets Rover profile helps with caring for them. I always follow any instructions I’m given so it’s easier on everyone. I like to stay close to the pets home schedule so they aren’t experiencing a lot of change at once.

Safety always come first. All outdoor time is fully supervised and your pup will never be off leash unless in a safely enclosed area. About: We have watched many pets over the years and are finally bringing our love to the masses. :) We truly love all animals (every where we have lived animals indoor/outdoor just flock to us it seems ha). We give them the care they deserve and treat every last one as if it were our own personal pet. We have also had several pets through the years that needed medical attention daily (generally giving medication) and understand the importance of maintaining medicine/medical care in a very timely manner. If you are looking for the best care for your pet, look no further this family of pet lovers is where its at. We took a little time off to focus on some other things but we are back at it and ready to love and care for your pet better than anyone on this app 😀♥️ (we might be biased). I work from home full time so I am here almost 24 hrs/day to care for your lovely pet. On the weekends we come and go for short periods of time but generally we are home 80% of the weekend at least. We welcome long and short term pet stays, we just love pets. I have kids who "LOVE" to entertain/give attention to pets and try to teach them new tricks. I have several nearby dog parks, and 1 dog of my own. I have a Black Lab/Great Dane mix about 5 yrs old. He loves having other pets around after he get his sniffs in :)

About: I have babysat neighbors dogs as well as friends dogs for 10+ years as well as always having a household full of dogs growing up I’m currently working remotely so can do daily dog walks, as well as all day and overnight care for your dog in my apartment week days and weekends. I live in a dog friendly apartment but work from home so i am around all day to supervise while babysitting. I love daily walks, and have grass areas/parks nearby.

About: I have always loved dogs ever since I was a child. I grew up around dogs and took care of family and friend’s dogs. I have taken puppy training classes and helped with senior dogs medicine intakes. I have my own dog, Arthur, and try to make sure we have a fun and enriching day every day. Every day with my own dog is 24/7 dog care. I work remotely 99% of the time so I am available pretty much any time to care for your dog. I wake up around 6:00 am on weekdays so early mornings are not a problem for me. I am great with schedules and routines. For pets in my care I take them on walks, take them to a fenced in back yard, or allow them to socialize with friend’s dogs if this has been discussed. I am a big fan of enrichment activities and learning what motivates your dog.

“Karen was amazing!! We were traveling in from out-of-town and were very nervous about leaving our pug, Curtis, with a stranger for the first time since we got him a few months ago. Karen was very knowledgeable, and Curtis seemed drawn to her right away, which pretty quickly helped to put us more at ease. Karen was great with Curtis and sent us several fun and cute updates throughout the day about snuggling, playing piano for him, and his unexpectedly strong attachment to her husband Jim. When we picked him up at the end of each day, Curtis seemed happy and confident, which indicated that he had a lot of fun hanging out with Karen (& Jim), and we always stayed an extra 15 minutes to chat. Her house was kind of a drive from where we were staying in downtown Cincinnati, but Karen was well-worth the drive. If we’re ever back in Cincinnati with Curtis, we would love to work with Karen again!”
