They are committed to accommodating you and your pet in all ways possible (incl. waking up to feed your dog at 5:30 AM/6 AM on weekends) If you're like me, then you are anxious whenever you have to leave your pet. About: I have been pet sitting since I was 16 years old. I am often asked by coworkers of family to house sit during their vacations. I have pet sat dogs, cats, fish, and even chickens! I am comfortable waking, giving medication, and cuddling (my personal favorite), whatever your pup needs! I have two dogs of my own. One of my dogs is a senior and is high need due to his bone cancer. He requires daily medication and will until we are able to remove the leg. My other pup is a rambunctious lab, who is high drive and needs daily stimulation so he doesn’t anger his older brother. I often take him on walks or use the pond near our home to tire him out! I am used to house sitting in all types of homes. If your pup needs a daily walk I am can do that. If they’re an outside pup we can take a walk or even a hike! I stay at the home and don’t leave often. I ask that a physical copy of directions are left so that I can give the 100% proper care and able to contact through phone as well!

About: Since about 12 years old my neighborhood friends would hire me to dogs sit while their family went out of town. I’ve always had a huge amount of love for animals so I never had any problem doing so. Fast forward 5 years later my parents began breeding French bulldogs. My siblings and I had a lot of responsibility on our hands are far as feeding them, bathing, keeping them groomed, making sure they’re up to date on shots and etc. I currently work from home so that’s enables me with plenty of free time to walk, play with/take to the park, and feed your lovely animals! In my home my dog is crate trained. I do have a crate for my puppy for if friends come over and are not comfortable with him I can put him away for a few hours. I prefer all animals be crate trained , but only go to the crate if they would like to do so. I do not mind dogs walking around my house. I have a puppy of my own so every morning I get up and take my puppy on a 30 minute walk as well as every evening once I get home from work. I have an animal friendly house so I usually let pups/kittys run around the house as long as they’ve been fed and taken out for a potty break.

About: Hi! My name is Claire, and I’m someone who has always had dogs growing up — they’ve been a huge part of my life. Now that I’m in school, I really miss having a dog of my own, but I know I don’t currently have the time to fully raise one. That’s actually what drew me to Rover: I get to spend time caring for and loving dogs while also helping owners in my community feel confident their pets are in good hands. I genuinely love dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities, and I take caring for them seriously. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just giving them attention and comfort, I treat every dog like they’re my own. I’m reliable, attentive, and always focused on making sure pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for. Being in school has taught me how to manage my time responsibly, and pet care is something I truly enjoy rather than see as a chore. I would love the opportunity to help care for your dog (or cat!) and give them the attention, exercise, and affection they deserve while you’re away. Pet care fits well into my routine because I’m currently in school and have a flexible schedule. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and sitting during weekdays and weekends, and I make sure pets receive consistent attention, playtime, and care throughout the day! I prioritize safety, trust, and comfort when caring for pets in my home or a client’s home. I carefully follow feeding, medication, and routine instructions, keep environments clean and secure, and make sure each pet feels calm, loved, and well cared for.

Love getting the pictures of her time with him and the note she leaves about their time together. Will definitely keep using Allison”

About: I have handled dogs for the entirety of my life, all sizes from small to large, and with a fenced yard, they will have space!! I will be at home all the time, and will be able to give 100% attention to your animal while they are in my care. I have a fenced yard and two fur babies to keep your dog company. “Corey is an excellent dog walker. My dog really enjoys being with him. He's a good listener and it's clear that working with animals is Corey's passion. He's great with communication too!”

About: I’ve had the privilege of growing up with dogs since the age of 10. I’ve never lived in a house without 1-2 dogs. It’s always been a priority of mine to take my dog on at least a 2 mile walk a day if not longer. I have pet sat for families in the past and fostered a puppy in college. Come July I start school T,TH,F from roughly 9-4:30. Otherwise I will be working my PRN job whenever they are in need and I’m available. Over the past 12-14 years I’ve grown up with dogs living in my household. I currently have one medium sized dog, Nala, whom I recused about 5 years ago. She’s a velcro dog and the sweetest they come. She was 5 months old when we adopted her and it’s always been a priority to enforce socialization from day one. When she was almost the age of 2 we bought a German Shepard, Bo, at 8weeks old who she has grown up and lived with over the past 4 years. Regardless of who they are around we make sure to properly introduce everyone who is welcomed into their/our space. After moving to Lexington Nala moved with me as Bo stayed back home. I have a fenced in backyard with plenty of space to run and play. Nala likes to keep to herself most of the time, but highly enjoys walks, treats, and toys.

Plenty of time to stay at your place overnight, teach fitness or clean a house then come back for quality time with your fur family. I DO NOT PROVIDE HOUSING AT MY HOME. I will gladly come to your residence and even stay overnight for your pets to alleviate any anxiety and make you and your family feel safe and at ease. References upon request. About: I’ve grown-up around animals my entire life; whether on the farm I grew up on, or taking care of former housemates pets; I’ve always had a strong connection to, and a deep love for animals. While I am currently unable to host/pet sit at my current residence, I am always available to come and do so at the home you and your pets share! My schedule currently has open availability; which means I can, most likely, accommodate your schedule needs; whether that means Days, Nights, Weekdays or Weekends- I’m ready and available! I love to go on long walks; either around the neighborhood or to the local dog park, but have no problem just kicking it at home spending the time giving them all the attention/affection they require. (And for those pets who prefer the single life, I’m also fine with serving as their human can opener while you are away)
About: Dog and cat mom here: I have had dogs and cats all my life, including raising puppies, I'm the go-to pet sitter in my friend group. I also foster my dogs when I am available. I don't have children but I consider my pets my babies. My dog Oliver (pictured) goes with me everywhere he can, he's spoiled because he's a good boy. My 2 cats come and go as they please but love attention and treats too. I can accommodate any request because I think it is important to treat all pets like your own. I work short shifts, days and nights, with lots of available time. I will treat your pet like my own: my dog gets daily walks, treats, playtime and cuddles of course. I can handle large dogs and small dogs without issue, I love all dogs equally!! I was taught all the signs of dogs so I know how to read their emotions and adjust accordingly. I love to play with dogs and cuddle as well when they are up for it. My family has had a dog my whole life so I have lots of care experience. I work full time during the week (7-3), so after and before work is when I can walk or let out dogs. My weekends are completely free for boarding, walking, and sitting! I walk dogs focused with no music or phone distraction to make sure I am ready for anything, and I have handled aggressive dogs often and can adjust when needed. I always clean up if accidents happen, and I leave places better than I found them, always!

About: I've had pet since my earliest memories. On top of caring for pets of my own, including cats, dogs, reptiles, arachnids, and more, I also fostered animals in southern Indiana for 5+ years. Now that I'm in the Cincinnati area I want to find a way to help animals again so I joined Rover! I currently work as a contractor for a delivery company so I choose my own hours, this way I have time to fit in the furry friends. I can come any time, day or night! When caring for pets in someones home I always make sure to have a list of things the pet parents want to make sure is done. I also make sure all cabinets and doors are secure before leaving a room, this way pets can't get into anything they shouldn't. When outside with the pups, I always make sure to keep them on the outside away from the road when walking on sidewalks.

I have 4+ years of working in animal care from working in shelters, as a veterinary assistant, and have cared for my neighbor's pets when needed. I am able to administer medications and care for any pets that have special needs due to having experienced working in both small and large animal clinics. I will treat your fur baby like my own! I currently have availability on week days in the evening and weekends all day. In the summer from end of June to mid - July I will have all day availability as well. My dog Rudy is very friendly and can accompany on visits if permitted or requested. I have a park close to my house and can commute to any area for a needed walk.

“A dream team family took our 16 mos, never left before, Moby, in for the Christmas holiday week. Rachel H., from the get-go, giving us a peek at drop off-nothing, but loving, professional, positivity! It was as if he had a comfy, cozy winter ski lodge retreat brimming with guys just like him. To the stars rating in expert care-all health & happiness concerns covered 100 pct. Looking for excuses to let him savor this beautiful situation again.”

“Holly sent pictures and updates of how Jaxson was doing. She was super easy to coordinate a meet and greet ahead of time so Jaxson and her dog could meet also. I'm sure Jaxson and Millie had a great time running around their fenced yard together. Highly recommend!”

“Kelti & Tanner are awesome! They are committed to accommodating you and your pet in all ways possible (incl. waking up to feed your dog at 5:30 AM/6 AM on weekends) If you're like me, then you are anxious whenever you have to leave your pet. While my big boy (Koda, a 78-pound yellow/white labrador retriever) stayed with with Kelti & Tanner, I knew I had nothing to worry about. That peace of mind is priceless.”
“Alycia and her husband took wonderful care of Annie! We had a day trip for hospital appointments in Columbus and Annie was a happy girl with them and their cute puggle! We couldn’t be happier with Annie’s stay and know that she was well cared for and well loved. Thanks so much!”

“Madison took great care of my girl! She sent me daily updates and photos and responded promptly whenever I reached out. She treated her as if she were her own and I would definitely trust her to watch my baby again!”

“Ollie’s stay was great! They sent fun pictures to keep us updated, which is especially appreciated when our daughter is missing her pup. Ollie came home happy and healthy!”

“Monte did a wonderful job keeping tabs on my pup! He was kind and welcoming with the introductions, as well as his furry companion. Definitely will be contacting Monte again in the future.”

“Tasha and Joseph are amazing dog sitters and I could not recommend them higher. They watch my dog Tesla while I was away on a trip I was unavoidable. They were so accommodating and were even willing to give him his medicine in our absence. They sent us pictures every day and it was clear that he was thoroughly played with. I cannot say enough good things.”

“Once again we have struck GOLD! Abbie has a GREAT home environment. My Keazer and Sözé were well taken care of. They enjoyed the ability to be outside and great lengths. We were able to extend when pick up needed to be delayed. We are looking forward to having them return for the next time.”

“Matt was a great caregiver for my 2 dogs (black lab & bernedoodle) while my family and I vacationed for a week. Prior to booking with him, he kindly offered to allow me to meet him and his dogs at his home. He quickly put my kind at ease and I knew that my dogs would be in great hands and be well cared for. While I was away, he sent nearly daily updates/photos and even a video of the dogs playing and were clearly right at home with his dogs and family. I highly recommend him and will definitely use him again in the future.”

“I needed a place to board my dog for a night while my husband and I went to a wedding. Our dog has been to standard daycare facilities but isn't fond of being left alone so we didn't like the idea of her staying in a kennel. Alison was really accommodating and assured us that our sweet girl would get plenty of attention and play time with her own dogs, which is perfect because our girl loves to make friends. We were afraid that she'd have trouble settling in because she's very attached to us, but we were put at ease when Alison sent a picture of our girl sleeping on a comfy couch. They also made sure she had her allergy meds and food. This is exactly the environment and attention our dog needs to be comfortable being away from us for a bit. Thank you so much for watching her!”

“Stephanie and her family took great care of our dog. She sent daily updates and photos and we could tell he was totally happy & relaxed in the pictures. So grateful for the experience she provided for our dog & our family.”
