About: I’m 21 years old and have grown up around animals my entire life. I have hands on experience caring for a wide range of pets, especially dogs of all sizes and breeds. I’ve had dogs my whole life from Chihuahuas and Dachshunds to Pit Bulls and Belgian Shepherds so I’m comfortable with everything from small, high energy pups to large, working breeds. About: Growing up, I took the most responsibility for caring for our family German Shepherd. Her name was Daisy and I was responsible for teaching her how to sit and stay, we went on daily walks when the weather was nice and even though she was considered a family pet she was mine. I do not have training skills past basic household tricks but I have plenty of love to give. I don’t have much of a set routine at work. I am technically full-time, but my schedule varies drastically from week to week. This is why I have my booking two weeks in advance so I can plan accordingly. Other than my job, I am a homebody. I do love being outside and going for walks/hikes when the weather is nicer. I’m very courteous and if you leave specific instructions for your home, I will follow them to a T. As for my own home, I have two cats that have free range over every room. I have no plants at all (let alone anything that would be dangerous for animals), a water fountain that’s plugged up for continuous running water, and three litter boxes throughout the home. I am more equipped for cats when it comes to toys, scratching post/cat trees and treats.

“Phillip was amazing with my kitty Scooter. He took care of her while I was away for a week and I was astonished at the magic that he worked on her. She is a sweet girl that can take some time to warm up to people, but he got her to play with him in no time. I will definitely be booking Phillip again the next time Scooter is in need of a sitter, and I highly recommend him for any other cat owners in the area.”

I’m currently going to school at UK, but I have a gab in my mornings from around 11-2 most days that I am available and then of course after classes! I would feed, water, and provide walks and also some play time for dogs, then with cats I would feed, water, and I would also play with whatever toys they have.

“I recently moved from NY to KY and was in need of someone to help care for my four dogs. I had spoken to many people and wasn’t comfortable with anyone as I had my prior dog walker in Ny for over 10 years. I found Tanika and she and I hit it off right away: she was super accommodating to my ever changing schedule. I was nervous to have my one rescue dog meet anyone because he could be unpredictable. Tanika came armed with treats and was relaxed and so easy going with all the dogs that he took to her first!!!! Tanika had been above and beyond amazing . She helps with my dogs that have medical issues and she is always there when and if I need her. She takes care of my dogs as if they were her own and I’ve never had to worry about them when I’m away. She is an absolute god send and I highly recommend her!”
