About: **if looking for pet sitting, make sure your furry friend is good with small dogs and cats** I, myself, am a small business owner. I work in photography and know my schedule well in advance. I have a 1.5 year old pug (behaved and potty trained). He no longer needs a crate but he has his own bedroom for if he gets too overstimulated and wants to play rough. He’s never hurt a fly though! I also have a cat who I’ve had for 7 years. He is social and talks more than any human I’ve met. He stays to himself and lounges on his cat tree or explores my fenced in yard. My yard is protected 100% around at approximately 10 ft high surrounding. I have grass to play in that is regularly maintained. Both of my pets are up to date on shots and flea, tick, and heart worm prevented monthly. I had rescued a pug before my current one who passed away unfortunately but I was on a 24 hour schedule with his medications and had hospice available at all times. My current dog gets eye medications every morning due to a genetic issue. So I have experience with medication. As well as IV medication/fluids. I grew up on a farm in Kentucky and took care of everything from cattle to goats to chickens to cats and dogs. I was going to become a dog foster but decided this route first with the possibility of still doing that in the future! I also took care of people with disabilities as an aid during my early 20’s (I’m 31) so no poo poo, pee pee, or throwing up bothers my stomach at all! My goal is to make your pet feel at as home as possible and as stimulated as they want to be to keep from being sad when away from their parent(s). Whenever I’ve had to leave my pets for personal family circumstances in Kentucky, it broke my heart that they’d miss me. I also have a furbo. I will be happy to provide you a link that you may access. You can see them and throw them treats (if they’re allowed them). I’m also lgbtq+ to be clear of my personal orientation/gender. I love animals more than people and for better or worse, that’s the truth :) I book my shoots with brands and talent way in advance. It makes it very easy to plan! I also will volunteer passing out clothes and food to those without shelter but I also plan that a month in advance and make my own schedule! I can crate your dog if needed. I just ask you bring your crate. As listed before, I have a playful pug and a lazy cat. I’m able to give medications and have a lot of experience with that!

About: I have experience with horses, dogs, cats, and even reptiles. I have specialized experience with large animals, disabled animals and elderly animals as well. I go to college at the University of Kentucky during the day but the longest day I have will end at 5 on Mondays and Wednesdays. I can care for pets of all shapes and sizes including daily walking, feeding, medication administration, and playtime. About: I have been dogsitting for over 5 years. The clients I have worked for I have done overnight stays, dog walks, and day sitting for up to 8-10 hours. I do have one dog I sit for that doesn’t do walks so I adjust to what the clients needs. On overnight stays, I do clean up and bring in mail/ newspaper if the clients ask. I am a big animal lover so your dog/ cat will get lots of love. I do have a clients that likes to receive pictures during my stay. The dog will get plenty of exercise and playtime. Also I am flexible and very reliable. I can provide references of my regulars if needed and their type of dog. I enjoy providing lots of fun and love. I am flexible and reliable. I am able to meet to whatever the client might need. I am available whatever day and time. I do my best to meet the needs of the client. I haven’t cared for other animals in my home besides my own. When I go to someone’s residence, I follow what the owner normally does. I am usually left instructions to follow.

“I recently moved from NY to KY and was in need of someone to help care for my four dogs. I had spoken to many people and wasn’t comfortable with anyone as I had my prior dog walker in Ny for over 10 years. I found Tanika and she and I hit it off right away: she was super accommodating to my ever changing schedule. I was nervous to have my one rescue dog meet anyone because he could be unpredictable. Tanika came armed with treats and was relaxed and so easy going with all the dogs that he took to her first!!!! Tanika had been above and beyond amazing . She helps with my dogs that have medical issues and she is always there when and if I need her. She takes care of my dogs as if they were her own and I’ve never had to worry about them when I’m away. She is an absolute god send and I highly recommend her!”
