I found Tanika and she and I hit it off right away: she was super accommodating to my ever changing schedule. I was nervous to have my one rescue dog meet anyone because he could be unpredictable. Tanika came armed with treats and was relaxed and so easy going with all the dogs that he took to her first!!!! Tanika had been above and beyond amazing . She helps with my dogs that have medical issues and she is always there when and if I need her. She takes care of my dogs as if they were her own and I’ve never had to worry about them when I’m away. About: I have cared for animals since I was 10 years old! No animal is to big or small for me! Neighbors , friends , and family have relied on me to watch , bathe , feed , and play with their pets . I also have a 2 year old super active border collie and a 3 month old German Shorthair Pointer both are loved and spoiled! I am free during the week from 4:30 - 9 pm ! And 9am-8pm on weekends! I will send plenty of updates and pictures during drop ins :) I have two dogs a border collie and a German short hair pointer. We take regular trips to the dog park and love to hike!

About: I am a prevet student and have been taking care of animals of all forms since I was roughly 9 years old. I have a dog of my own, her name is Ellie, and she is very playful and loving with other animals including cats and people. I trained her myself and am able to work with younger pups as well as elder. About: I've had at least four dogs as long as I can remember. As a child, they were my first companions and my second caretakers. Even as I grew into an adult, they were always there to comfort me and to brighten the darkest of days. Dogs hold a very special place in my heart and I am eager to give back what they so willingly give; love, acceptance, understanding, comfort, and joy. In the last two years, I have gone from four dogs to one, due to Cancer and Congestive Heart Failure, and I must admit that their absence has affected me deeply. I miss them so so so much!! I'm one of those people that celebrated their dog's birthdays and bought them copious presents for Christmas. While my friends were pulling out their family pics, I was always pulling out my dog pics. I share this same sentiment towards birds, rabbits, and cats; all of which I had growing up. Being surrounded by animals as a child was a great experience. It even prompted me to volunteer at the ASPCA for almost a year. As I hope you can tell, I will not only provide what your pet needs to survive, but I will also provide him/her with special attention and love. I look forward to meeting with both you and your pet! About: I grew up on a farm around many different animals large and small so I know how to care for many different types! My very first job was working on a golden doodle breeding farm. My schedule is 8-4 in Lexington, Ky. I commute from Northern Ky so I am able to sit in both locations if needed. If your pet needs extra care I will be available 24 hours a day on the weekends.
