About: I’ve had at least 1 dog living with me and my family since I was born, so I grew up helping take care of all our dogs throughout the years. Our current dog is a Pomeranian that acts more human than dog sometimes. I’m a current student at SCAD so classes take up most of my time, but on weekends and nights I am way more available to help out. I love animals so much, whether they be small fluffy little puppies, old yet dignified cats, or even reptilians just vibing in their own little spaces, I never want any animals to be upset or get hurt, so I’ll do whatever I can to make sure your pet receives the best care I can offer.

About: I am a Licensed Veterinary Technician, worked with small animals and now do mostly large animals. I have grown up with dogs my entire life. I love your pets and would love to help !! I currently work for Lexington Equine Medical and it is becoming our off season, so I am starting to free up in the afternoons! I can come whenever I am off and communicate that with you and do whatever is needed for you and your pet ! I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life , and that really persuaded me to be the Licensed Vet tech I am today. I love being around animals and I care deeply for them no matter to what extent ! About: I have always had at least one dog growing up. I started watching dogs (walking during the day or while babysitting) at 10 years old, and house-sitting by 15 (overnight at the dog's house). My childhood dog started receiving daily to twice-daily insulin injections by the time he turned 12, so I am comfortable giving injections. I also have had to give dogs pills orally. My current dog, Wesley, is particularly finnicky about treats, so if he has to take a pill I had to wrap it in wet food and hand feed to him - if your dog is the same way, I am used to "prince"/"princess" dogs :) I have watched my friends' dogs in Denver and it's been great! I am open to having them at my house (preferable for sitting during the week since I have work) or at your place. My job allows me to routinely work from home depending on my schedule and I am located in Littleton (near Chatfield and Ken Caryl areas). When I’m working from home I’ll be able to let the pup out throughout the day, as well as provide love and attention. If I am going into the office, I am usually away no longer than 9 hours. I’ll be sure to walk, play, or do whatever to make up for my time away! I’m pretty laid back with dogs and don’t get really upset if there’s an accident in the house, as I know they can’t help it. However, if there are certain words or commands you use for certain behaviors, please let me know so I can be consistent with your house. The same goes for walking - I usually am firm and keep the dogs on one side and close to me. If you have a certain side you like your dog to be on or words to use while walking, just let me know and I'll incorporate! I will attempt to make your dog's stay as home-like as possible by keeping their schedule, saying certain words/commands, and giving them lots of love and attention! I'm a very flexible and easy going sitter. If I am in town and you need someone last minute, I'm open to that. Have a question? Feel free to reach out and ask! I am currently taking a break in my career and just finished up my “adult gap year” traveling :) while I figure out what’s next, Rover is my main gig until further notice! I like to know what the typical schedule is for your pet so I can try and keep things as normal as possible in their routine. I also like to keep the pet parents updated with texts, especially pictures, to keep them comfortable and knowing their animals are getting love and attention.

“I recently moved from NY to KY and was in need of someone to help care for my four dogs. I had spoken to many people and wasn’t comfortable with anyone as I had my prior dog walker in Ny for over 10 years. I found Tanika and she and I hit it off right away: she was super accommodating to my ever changing schedule. I was nervous to have my one rescue dog meet anyone because he could be unpredictable. Tanika came armed with treats and was relaxed and so easy going with all the dogs that he took to her first!!!! Tanika had been above and beyond amazing . She helps with my dogs that have medical issues and she is always there when and if I need her. She takes care of my dogs as if they were her own and I’ve never had to worry about them when I’m away. She is an absolute god send and I highly recommend her!”

About: I absolutely love dogsitting! Growing up without any pets of my own, due to an animal allergy that I have outgrown, getting the opportunity to love on your fur babies has been a dream! I work with in a senior citizen home, but I also have taken care of senior dogs before, administering medications, both orally and through an injection. I love treating your fur babies as one of my own and I am more than glad to do whatever you need to make you the most comfortable with me watching your fur babies. I take loads of pictures, videos, etc.! My job is pretty flexible. I can potty your fur babies in the afternoon, if needed. Upon booking, I can provide you my availability! Just ask me, I am more than welcome to let you know when I can pop in to potty your animals during the day :) I love on them, play with them, make sure their water and food bowl is always full when obviously needed. I make sure they are taken outside as often as they need it.

About: I have always had dogs and cats in my life. I have cared for senior animals when it got more difficult and puppies that needed round-the-clock care. I’ve also been trusted by family, neighbors, and friends to care for their homes and pets while they were away. I’m a recent college grad and have not yet found employment, so my schedule is wide open! I will be available Monday through Sunday at all hours. I do not offer boarding in my home, however I can supervise multiple dogs at once, walk dogs, follow specific feeding instructions, and respect the boundaries of your cat. I can also work with security systems and keep your home safe and neat.

About: I have been caring of a variety fur babies since I was a kid. I have experience with working with both younger and older fur babies. I am currently working full time while coming my masters online in counseling so I do have flexibility with working overnights. If need more availability please contact me. I have a fenced area at my apartment complex for dogs if needed. I have a variety of teats and toys for cats if needed.
