Her own dogs were very sweet! And then Stella decided to add a little excitement to Winnie’s stay by going through a brief “I think I’ll drink ALL the water and then puke it back up” phase. 😂 Winnie handled it like a champ, kept an eye on her, and helped Stella get through her little stomach drama. We couldn’t have asked for someone more caring, attentive, and patient. Stella was clearly in good hands, and we’re definitely looking forward to using Winnie again and her 3 pups. About: I have been doing drop-in pet sitting since I was 10 years old. I also worked at a Collie breeding facility for two years. I now own my own dog and have trained her and cared for her for 7 years. I have the ability to teach agility as well as basic obedience (sit, lay down, heel, roll over, etc). I am extremely active and love going on walks or runs with pets, but am happy to sit and offer belly rubs too! I am free to take care of your pet wherever and whenever you like, within reason. Unfortunately I cannot have pets at my house. Your dog's happiness and health is of the utmost importance. I am different from other sitters in that I possess extensive dog experience, patience, and an extreme love for animals. I am currently available most days to spend time with your pet. I was also a receptionist and am a vet technician at a local vet clinic and can use my knowledge in the event of an emergency. I fit it in around work and having my own dog. I typically spend a moderate amount of time with your pet, with the ability to conduct check ins as needed. I used to be a part time vet tech so I am very knowledgeable about many different clinical signs of pain or distress as well as any maladies your dog could have.

About: We came across the Cavapoo breed as our loving Rottweiler was on his journey to his “better place”. We chose the Cavapoo breed as our furry rainbow puppy to help us all with the tough loss. Fast fwd 5 years, and WOW, still can’t believe the journey that was created for us. Dog breeding, training, boarding and grooming just the way I would want my pups taken care of…in a home. Our setup is ready for all stages of dogs and of course, personalities. This is a small family business and we make pet care fit seamlessly into our lives. We’re a party of 4 and all hands are always on deck. 4:00 am wake up call during the week and 6:00 am on weekends. Caring for pets in our home can consist of taking your pets normal routine that’s already established and following it. Help keep your animal on a schedule of food timing to crate or bedroom boarding. We live in a neighborhood with a 6 foot privacy fenced in back yard. A 3,000 gallon Koi pond surrounded by 800 square feet of deck. Nice plush outdoor furniture for the dogs to lounge next to the pond after a drink. We have also built a 200 square foot doggie palace on our property. Full electricity with heating/air and additional ceiling fan. Great for rainy days or dogs who are lone rangers and/or feisty.

About: I’ve always loved animals and have been passionate about keeping them happy and healthy! I love any kind of animal in any shape or size and am not intimidated by big dogs! I have lots of experience with large dogs especially since my family has always owned black labs. I am a student at UK studying Forestry and Wildlife Biology! I attend classes full time but I have full availability on weekends. I can work around my class schedule for drop-in visits and walks. I have a fenced in backyard with plenty of space to play! There are currently no other pets in my home, so no need to worry about antisocial animals feeling stressed or territorial.

I live in a non smoking apartment that is very pet friendly, with plenty of room for a cat. When it comes to dog walking, I take the utmost safety precautions and would love to walk them within your own neighborhood, as my downtown neighborhood is not very amenable to dog walks.
