“Amie is phenomenal!! She really stepped up for us this past week when we were on vacation, she went above and beyond. Our house was badly hit with storms and she kept the pets and home safe. She’s not just your standard sitter, she’s so much more than that. We’re beyond blessed that she came into our lives and was able to take care of our fur babies for us. Took great care of our home, even cleaned out the fridge from losing power, ended up injuring her own knee on Mudd but didn’t skip a beat. Our puppy hadn’t been through storms yet and come to find out he absolutely hates them, she made him feel so comfortable. The communication was outstanding!! We will be using her without a doubt for all future trips. Thank you Amie from the bottom of our hearts!”

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was a kid, for family and friends who are pet parents, I am their first choice when it comes to pet sitting. I have also volunteered at my local animal shelters and to me, the animal's well-being is my highest priority. I have a job with flexible work hours so I can always make time to take care of your best friend. I also work remotely so I can be with your pet for however long is needed. If I am at the client's house, I will follow any and all special instructions involving taking care of their pet. I do have a job but it’s is all remote and I can control the days and hours I work. I will treat your fur babies like my own and will make sure your house is looking as good as you left it. About: I have previously taken care of pets for close family friends when I was in undergrad and I miss it dearly. Getting to know your pet(s) and the type of routines and care they need is something I respect and take seriously. Bringing comfort and joy to pets is a fulfilling and worthwhile occupation I enjoy. (It’s also a great way for me to destress as a graduate student!) I am currently a second-year graduate student at Western Michigan University studying occupational therapy. I am currently in my Level I clinical rotations for the degree program. My current class schedule for the summer term is as follows: fieldwork- Tuesdays and Thursdays 3pm-7pm; and Wednesday: 9am-12:30pm & 5:30-8pm. When the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 semesters come, my schedule will be changing. I will inform clients of all schedule changes. Every pet has his/her own specific needs and requirements when it comes to needing top-quality care. My goal as a pet sitter is to get to know both the family and the pet, through building positive relationships and learning about each pet’s specific needs and routines. I strive to bring comfort and joy to each pet I encounter while their humans are away.

I work full time remotely so I’m flexible during the week. I do travel with my job and many of my weekends are full. I will keep my schedule updated so times are known when I can help. I am willing to watch your dog or cat at your house. I currently have a friendly cat but he doesn’t understand not all dogs love him. If I watch your dog at my house, the dog would need to meet my cat first to make sure they are ok. I do have a fenced in yard.

I am not currently working, so I am home and happily willing to give 24 hour care to your pet. I have the extra time to spend playing with, walking, and snuggling your precious pet! I have a chain link enclosure with a high quality dog igloo, and I can easily crate your dog if needed, as well! While my yard is not fenced, I am home much of the time and am able to take your fur baby on long walks and playtime.
