“Our stay with Rex was fantastic. He was easy to work with and flexible on times. We appreciated the picture updates during the week. Would definitely recommend as a host.”

“Ellie was amazing! We had a last minute trip come up as well as cancelled flights and she was so kind through all the changes. She made sure we felt comfortable with Ember’s first stay there. Even though Ember was there for only one night, she came home tired and happy which showed how much Ellie played with her and gave her attention. 100% recommend Ellie for any dog sitting needs!”

“I am so extremely thankful for Kelli and the great care Mickie was given! Absolutely amazing, I will ALWAYS book will Kelli!!! Communication was A++++ and I got messages and pictures throughout our trip, I was so thankful for that! Absolutely the BEST!”

“The perfect sitter for an anxious fur baby. Heavan put both my dog and myself at ease giving multiple updates with pictures while I was out of town for a night. My extremely anxious pooch settled right in which allowed me to enjoy my night away without worry.”

“So glad Julie kept our dog for the week. The home environment was so much better than a kennel. We also appreciated the photos and communication throughout the week. We will schedule with her again.”

“I highly recommend James, he watched our two kitties for an extended period. He gave them a dedicated room because they are not used to dogs and gave them plenty of attention. His communication was excellent and he shared pictures and updates regularly. I felt very confident about our pets' safety and comfort at his place. Thank you again, James!!”

“Kathy was fantastic with Teddy. She suggested a meet & greet prior to officially booking to make sure it was a good match. For the week that Teddy stayed with Kathy she provided photos, videos and written updates which helped keep us at ease. It is clear that Kathy loves dogs and enjoys having them in her home!”
“Shawnia was the best pet sitter ever. Seven really enjoyed herself and she made me feel at ease during my whole trip by sending me pictures and updates. I’ll definitely be booking with her again. Thank you so much.”

About: A calm, loving home with a fenced yard—and 30 years of real dog experience to back it up. Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover with over 30 years of hands-on experience caring for pups of all sizes, ages, and personalities. Dogs have always been a part of my life, and caring for them is something that comes naturally to me. Two years ago, I lost my beloved shepherd. While that was incredibly hard, it inspired me to open my home and heart to other dogs. Since then, I’ve been caring for dogs for family and friends, as well as volunteering with foster dogs—helping them feel safe, loved, and comfortable while they wait for their forever homes. I have a fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely play and explore, and I don’t have any pets of my own right now. That means your dog gets my full attention in a calm, low-stress environment—perfect for dogs who prefer their own space or need a little extra comfort. I treat every dog like they’re my own and tailor care to their unique personality—whether that’s active playtime, relaxing companionship, or a steady routine. You can count on me to provide a safe, loving, and dependable home filled with attention, affection, and plenty of tail wags. I’d love to meet you and your pup! Pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I work full time, but I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to be home often and adjust my day around the needs of the dogs in my care. I’m able to provide regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and plenty of attention throughout the day. Your dog won’t be left alone for long periods and will be part of a calm, structured, and caring environment. I provide a calm, safe, and loving home where dogs feel relaxed and happy. They get potty breaks, playtime, and fenced-yard fun, and if I’m at work, crating is never more than 4 hours, with breaks on lunch or as needed. With no other pets at home, your dog gets plenty of one-on-one attention and care like family.
“Larry was very kind and soon made good friends with our pitbull Jersey. He was very responsive to texts and we were very happy to see our happy pup when we returned home from holiday travels. Thank you Larry!”

“Great 1st experience for my Teddy and I. I’m so pleased with the care my boy received! This was our first time actually hiring a dog sitter and it was flawless, such a wonderful experience with Catherine. From beginning to end, she made everything so easy and comforting for my dog and I!”

“Trina is an excellent dog caretaker. Our little Bean had so much fun and you could tell she felt very loved. She'll treat your pup like it's her own. She's generous, dedicated and kind. We will definitely be using her services again.”

“Luke and his family were exceptional! He was incredibly flexible with accommodations. We were able to leave Rosie and Loki with him in complete confidence that they would be taken care of, and provided daily photos and updates. I would highly recommend!”

“This is the first time we had ever used Rover and it was a great experience. We received several pictures to see how Layla was doing during her 18 day stay. I highly recommend Katy to care for your dogs. We will be back again!!!”

“If you need someone fantastic to board your dog with, look no further! Becky is super communicative, attentive, and kind. Her home is lovely and safe, with a fantastic backyard, and the sweetest golden retriever whom our dog adores!”

“Teddy had a great time with Deb and her puppies. Very nice play area for the dogs. Would recommend her to anyone that is looking for boarding for a day or two or even a week long. She communicates and sends u pics. Thanks again Deb.”

“Shaira is very reliable and good with my dog. She gives great reports and photos through Rover. My dog looks happy in every photo. I highly recommend Shaira and will rebook with her when the need arises.”

“Harper didn't warm up to her, but that's because of him not Ashton. He's only ever warned up to one other person. She was very respectful of his space and comfort level and sent pics from every visit. Highly recommend and will definitely use her services again.”

“We needed to add an extra day when our flight was delayed and Emily was able to accommodate our last minute request. She always send photos and a quick update after each visit. We really appreciate her availability”

“Shawnia was amazing! Always gave great photo updates and even walked up our snowy driveway to make sure our cats were taken care of when we got TONS of snow while out of town. 5/5 would recommend!”

“Eden was amazing. They had great communication with me throughout the whole time they were taking care of my baby. Eden always kept me informed, sent a lot of pictures, and I felt reassured that Roberto was being taken care of very well! My only concern is that Roberto likes Eden more than me 😂”

“Ashley is always there on time and follows directions. I feel like I can trust Ashley. My cats, who can be rather picky about who they choose to be around, come out of their hiding spots when shes over.”

“Kelli was amazing. She made sure my kitties were well taken care of with everything that they needed. She always sent consistent updates about her visits and went above and beyond to make sure my two cats felt loved in my absence. I highly recommend Kelli to anyone looking for an excellent petsitter.”

“Camryn responded immediately and came out to meet my doggies beforehand. The dogs like her! She came out with her little one, but the dogs weren't quite sure about the baby carrier with the fan on it :). They were really curious though. Camryn took good care of my fur-babies, fed them and made sure they went potty before she left. I will contact her again.”

“Michelle provided updates and services as requested. Came home to a non-distressed cat which is all I can hope for with my shy guy. Would book her again.”

“Katie did a wonderful job cat-sitting for us. She is communicative and friendly and completely put our minds at ease that our cat was well cared for while we were out of town. We highly recommend her!”

About: I have taken care of cats for many years; usually when I horse-sit for pet owners they have barn cats and house cats that I care for alongside them. I’ve had one cat in my household growing up, a rescue named Pancakes, but she passed away from cancer last year. However, that did give me a lot of experience with administering oral medications. I have given medicine to elderly and sick cats I’ve pet-sat for friends before as well.
About: I have worked at the Humane Society of South Central Michigan for 8 months now and absolutely love working with the dogs and cats there. I have also pet sitted on occasion for a family friend that has 3 dogs and 3 cats. I also have been asked by a friend to check in on her dog and let her go potty outside and give her some loving. I also worked at Camp Wakonda in the nature center so I have experience working with not just dogs and cats, but other pets like hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, chinchillas, a snake, bearded dragon, and a hedgehog. I work part time at the Humane Society. My hrs vary depending on how my boss makes the schedule for each week. I usually work Sundays 8 to 3. Sometimes Mondays 8 to 3 if in the dog area, and 8 to noon if the cat area. Tuesday through Friday I work 8 to noon and sometimes a day or two of the week I have the afternoon shift noon to 5. I don't own any animals of my own right now, but I have cared for animals at work and for friends when they need a pet sitter. When I care for any animal I will not neglect them. I will play with them if they want attention. I will groom them if they need it. I will feed and water them if given instructions to do so. I will give them lots of loving.

About: I have had cats in my life for more than 30 years. I know they can range from independent to shy to super affectionate companions. I have had all of these personalities over the years with my current 18 year old cat as a very vocal and affectionate cat. I would like to offer reassurance that I would not only feed the fur baby but play and spend time with them and clean the boxes.
About: Has to be able to get along with other dogs if being brought to my home. It’s fine if dogs or cats need special care I am going to give them my all and make sure they enjoy there time so they come back, all animals are welcome and loved with me. I spend all of my time devoted to taking care of animals I am a stay at home mom so they will always have my attention and I am always avalible Willing to do whatever is needed to take care of the pet and make the pet happy in both your home and my home, anything they need

“Rex is very easy going and flexible. My dog went right to him without hesitation. She had a great time playing with his dogs and was very tired when she came home. I will use Rex again without hesitation.”

“Kelli did a great job watching our energetic puppy, Riley. She sent a picture soon after we left Riley. It was reassuring to see she was doing fine. Riley had an opportunity to play with Kelli's puppy. She came home well cared for and ready for a long nap!”

“The best!! my lila had a great time, i would recommend using shawnia a million times. communicated very well and kept me updated throughout the day. My girl had a blast and we will definitely be back.”

“Ellie did a fantastic job watching my pup and was a pleasure to work with! She made sure Ophie’s needs were met and provided a great environment for her to get her energy out. I got plenty of updates during her stay, and she came home relaxed and happy. I highly recommend Ellie’s services!!”

“Larry was spectacular with our Yorkie, princesa. She was happy when I arrived to pick up her. He sent me pictures all the time. She had a great time, and I enjoyed my vacations knowing that she was in good hands!!! Thank you Larry”

About: I've always loved being around animals and understand the trust it takes to leave your furry family members with someone new. I'm highly responsible, attentive to detail, and will treat your pets with the same love and care as if they were my own. As a university student with a very open schedule right now, I have plenty of free time to dedicate to your pets! I am available throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, and boarding, and can easily adapt to your furry friend's daily routine. I am highly detail-oriented and meticulous when it comes to your pet's safety. I double-check all gates, doors, and leashes, and I strictly follow your specific care instructions to maintain a secure, stress-free environment for your furry best friend.
About: I am working on some pretty amazing updates. Additional outdoor yards are in the works, as well as a perimeter fence around the home property! I have also added Tracki to my collars. Tracki runs on global GPS (satellite feedback) and not cellular feedback, giving that extra security for your pups with no interruption in tracking! Bark & Barn is a privately insured in-home kennel that provides overnight and day boarding options as well as drop-in visits/walks for all pets, exotic included. I also provide optional training for dogs. I have five years of experience as a veterinary assistant in a high volume multi-species setting. With this, I have gained the knowledge, training, and experience in animal behavior as well as proper technique in safe animal hold, administering all forms of medication, administering emergency fluids, and animal CPR. Your pups will have access to multiple sections of my home, a fenced play yard, and walks over 120 acres of farm fields and streamed woods! I offer basic puppy training during board and day stays, including potty and crate training. I will gladly accept shark puppies, understanding completely how difficult these pups can be for many caretakers who are not experienced in their breed characteristics. I've worked with and owned dogs for over 17 years. I have a preference for high energy/high drive dogs, though I love all of them just the same. I am a farm mom of school aged children, work remotely, a full-time online student at KCC while my kids sleep, and have plenty of time to devote to your pets. I will follow strict biosecurity and safety measures. I am by no means a "doggy playcare". For their and my safety, I do not allow guest pups to interact together. I have sectioned off portions of my home and large basement for roam, and utilize sanitized in-home kennels for overnight and unattended times as well as movement of guests (inside, outside, walks, etc). I currently have full availability outside of school drop-off in the mornings and flexible pick-ups in the afternoon. I spend my free time caring for my own animals and attending online classes and seminars! I have a knack for social cues and when and how to approach. Discipline is and will always be reinforcement based. I have experience with reactive dogs and understand any dog can be reactive in the right setting, so meet and greets are a must! Our personal working dogs are not within the home's boundaries and remain with their flock at all times.
“Alexia was wonderful! Such a passionate person and even was able to book the puppies on a short notice. Very honest person and took lots of pictures. I know my 2 will be well taken care of next vacation!!”

“Nayoma was great! It was our first time leaving our dog with someone other than family. He takes a while to warm up to others but Nayoma was patient with him and he got more comfortable as the day went on. We were happy to get an update and some pictures of him throughout the day. I will definitely use Nayoma again in the future!”

“I can’t say enough great things about Katherine and her lovely pups/cats! She was incredibly attentive to my pup, communicated clearly and consistently, and truly went above and beyond to care for Percy. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and caring sitter.”

About: I have had cats and dogs my whole life, and they have enriched my life so much. I volunteered at animal shelters, working with dogs of all kinds, and socializing with the cats. I regularly walked dogs and was a dog/house sitter for over a year, then took a brief hiatus while I was working full time and am getting back into dog sitting now that I have a house of my own, and can offer boarding services! I have also had two puppies over my life that I helped raise and take care of into their old age. I am currently working part time, so I have plenty of time to spend loving your critters, and my partner works fully remote so he is available to let dogs in and out while I am gone! We have a large fenced in backyard with lots of room to run and play, plus we love going on walks when we have dogs visiting us. We have two cats, Swiper and Bilbo, who are both familiar with dogs, and can be shy but very friendly. They also have their own hideaway which houses their food and litter that dogs do not have access to in case they need some time to themselves. My mom's dog, Juno, also visits us frequently, and she LOVES having playmates around and gets along with dogs of all sizes and breeds. I make sure to take swift action on any problems that may arise, and communicate frequently in detail. You can rest easy knowing I treat any critter in my care as if they were one of my own, and you will also receive picture updates every day, usually multiple times a day.
About: ❗️Unavailable for the time being❗️ Hello, my name is Allyssa I’ve taken care of and have had the experience of learning all kinds of animals since I was young. From farm animals to dogs I’ve enjoyed every ounce of it. Bathed, fed, walked etc. I myself have 5 month old energetic pointer who loves other animals just as much as I do! I have former work experience in a vet clinic, as I planned to become a veterinary Technician. I’m currently trying to fill my schedule. Most of my day, if not all revolves around just spending time with my spoiled pup and meeting his needs! I do not have a fenced in yard, however I have more than enough time to take dogs in and out whenever it is needed. I currently have a five month (neutered and up to date on vaccines) old pup who could enjoy the company and playmate too! Keeps me busy, and ensures your pet is in good hands while you’re away. 🫶
“Deb is a true gem! She took such excellent care of my two little dogs and they came home after both days with her with happy faces and tired bodies from playing. My shy girl, Clover even snuggled and took a nap at her house! AMAZING sitter, highly recommend Deb. She has a house designed for pups and a beautiful, peaceful and huge backyard. She's home most of the time and just treats your dogs with genuine love and sweetness. I am moving too far to use her services again, but sad to say so, because our experience with her was just absolutely perfect. There may be sitters in the Battle Creek area that charge less, but having tried them with very mixed results - I assure you Deb is worth every penny!”

First thing first is to care the animals with respect, love and comfort to be in your home. If I was at your house, I am that person that will follow your wishes and expectations of how you would want me to care for your animals. I do clean up after myself when I am at your house and to keep it tidy clean as you like it to be. I also like to step outside with the dogs/cats to keep my eyes on them or even just being outside with them and play with their toys to give them my joyful attention. I love to have the transparency communication with the owners as well. I will always ask the owner before assuming or trying things out. I love to meet the animals before starting the whole process to feel it out how the energy goes for us and for your animals too. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats my entire life and I house-sit/dog-sit as a part-time job, as well as work at two stables. I grew up with the responsibility of taking care of my own pets, so I enjoy taking care of other people’s animals! Now that my semester is over, my schedule is very open- almost everyday, except Fridays, I have time (unless I have prior plans, and I will try to update my schedule as accurately as possible). I’ll be able to feed, let your dogs out, walk them/play with them, spend time with your cats, etc.! I’d like to know a day in advance, but I could possibly accept a same day booking. I take care of every animal like they’re my own; I’ve taken many dogs off the streets to find their owners. This is no different, your animal will be treated with respect and love while you’re away! I won’t be taking care of animals at my house (due to my own pets), but I would possibly be up for overnight house-sitting once I’ve built a trusting relationship with a client and their animals. But for now I will only be doing drop-in visits and walking.
About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life! Experienced all ages and kinds. I’m also experienced in cat care as well as kittens. I’ve raised livestock since age 10! I relish human connections, but I have a deep passion for connecting with animals. I am highly adaptable when it comes to caring for your furry companion. I have a cat who needs his own space. I live in a large house with multiple levels and rooms, and I’m more than willing to make adjustments to accommodate him. My cat takes medication daily, and I’m knowledgeable about animal behavior.

I will be in the Battle Creek area from June through August. Come August, I will be in the Champaign, IL area. My daily/weekly schedule is fairly open as I do not have a current job. My pets are allowed on furniture. However, I will respect whatever rules you have in place with your pet. I tend to do an outside break every 2-4 hours depending on weather, but in the summer most days are spent outside. I feed my dog on a 2 meal schedule, but can accommodate the pet(s) normal meal routines.

“Shaira is everything you need in a care for a dog, she very attentive, knowledgeable, and showed class and professionalism and she's very aware of problems if they exist ,I was pleasantly surprised in her intuition dealing with Thor my American Bully. She kept me up to date with pictures and walks, this was my 1st time leaving Thor with anyone, and she understood what to do and how to react, I cannot say more about this young woman, she will be at the top of my list when I need someone to take care of Thor... Only one problem!!!! There are not enough stars, she actually deserve 10 stars .”

I work full time remotely so I’m flexible during the week. I do travel with my job and many of my weekends are full. I will keep my schedule updated so times are known when I can help. I am willing to watch your dog or cat at your house. I currently have a friendly cat but he doesn’t understand not all dogs love him. If I watch your dog at my house, the dog would need to meet my cat first to make sure they are ok. I do have a fenced in yard.

“Gabrielle was wonderful and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for help with their dogs! She was even willing to go out of her way to come over on her lunch break one of the days to let my dogs go potty! I will definitely be booking with her in the future.”

About: I deeply love all kinds of animal companions (the furry, scaly, and feathery! I have been around animals my entire life. Not only has my family owned pets, but I spent about 8 years in the 4-H dog program training both of the family dogs. I have even trained my current cat to do a number of commands. I have worked at a pet boarding place, PetSuites, where I cared and watched over dogs and cats ranging in all shapes, sizes, states of health, ages, and attitudes. Aside from room cleaning and basic animal care, the boarder also provided group play sessions and puppy preschool. There were two play sessions: Large Group (for large dogs over 45 pounds) and Small Group (dogs under 45 pounds). The groups could have anywhere from 5 dogs to over 30 dogs at a time! My job was to watch them to make sure they did not fight, did not eat anything they were not supposed to, and not get overheated or too cold. Each dog had a different temperament so you had to adjust with the group dynamic at all times. In puppy preschool you made sure all of the puppies were not being too rough with their play and would practice basic commands like "sit" with them. I also love cats and took care of them at work and for other people. If you have any animals other than dogs and cats, I would be most happy to care for them, too. I have cared for horses, fish, guinea pigs, rabbits, snakes, birds, cows, chickens, goats, turkeys, and pigs. My heart is welcome to all animals. Even spiders. Currently I work at a garden event venue. We are closed for the winter so I have availability most every day. When Spring returns I can be available in the mornings, evenings, and weekends as my job is flexible with my hours as long as I get the work done. I am not currently offering to have pets stay at my home as my apartment complex would not allow it without notice and also for my cat's comfort. When I care for you pet, I always try to give them my devoted attention either through play, walks, training, grooming, or petting. I will send photos or videos to you daily or each time I visit them and give updates on their general care. I always try to give them as similar care to your style as possible so as to help your pet be as comfortable as possible.

“Jamie was flexible with drop off/pick up schedule and sent updates during stay. My anxious dog seemed very comfortable with her, thanks again for taking care of Clover!”
“My Sophie is high energy and still young dog and she was willing to take the challenge. Sydney was very kind and put my fears to rest. She sent pictures several times a day with updates. She has a large fenced in yard and also took Sophie on walks, just fantastic!”
