About: I've had dogs and cats my entire life. As an adult, I've adopted four cats and two dogs. Currently, we have 2 cats (Doc and Wyatt) and 1 dog (Forty). I work from home, so I'm pretty obsessed with my boys. My cats developed medical issues as they aged which required medication and a special diet. I understand the importance of following all instructions to make sure your baby is cared for properly. Also, my previous dog was a tripawd (missing front left leg) and he required additional care to maneuver and monitor all his actions/noises to make sure he is not in pain. A few months ago, I watched four cats for a friend. Then I watched them again while she was gone for a week, and I realized I really enjoy taking care of other's pets. I genuinely love animals and love to meet new pets - even if that means I must admire them from afar! My dog has separation anxiety, and he does not do well with new people. So if your animal struggles with new people too, I know how to best handle such a delicate situation. I have been working from home for the past 6 years. I moved to the area in 2025. I work 9AM-530PM M-F. My work schedule will allow some flexibility - especially if you are close to me! I do not have any children so I can be flexible with time. Typically Tuesday through Thursday are my busy days, but I can be available for morning (7-8AM) and evening (after 530PM) drop-ins I do not have children, but I treat my pets like my children. I will follow all instructions provided, and I can provide updates. I know the stress of leaving your pet, but I will do all I can to assure you they are cared for in your absence. I will take care of your pets like I would like my own babies.

I’ve owned dogs with behavioral issues from resource guarding to fear reactivity towards other people and animals and medical needs like Degenerative Myelopathy, ACL tears, dental disease, and an enlarged heart requiring specialized attention and care. When I’m not training new volunteers, I handle dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, behavioral, and medical needs. I’ve taken dogs to off site events for exposure and I’m an adoption counselor helping pair families with the right dog for their home. I have worked with rescue and foster dogs. I will make sure that your dog’s needs are met and will meet them at their level while helping them grow. I will work on patience and consistency, and I will even work on commands with them. I can work on things your pet is struggling with like impulse control, commands, leash walking, etc. I am comfortable crating and separating pets as needed. If your dog has reactivity with new people or other animals - I have an extra soft spot for them as my own pets have struggled with that. I will do slow introductions to make sure your pet is building a relationship with me that is safe and comfortable at their pace. Consistency, patience, and structure is key. I can provide a mix of walks and play time as well as enrichment if the weather is bad. I do not mind the weather changes or daylight changes as their needs come first. Even if your dog wants a quick walk and cuddle time, we will do what they need. I will also communicate with you each time by sending a detailed pet update or report card so you know how they are doing.
