About: I've owned and cared for pets of all sorts, as well as show and farm animals, since I was a small child. I love them all and they all usually love me, even the one's people say don't like men/people. I'm also big and boisterous, equating to perfect (but kind) dominance and control, as well as capabilities the average person might not be able to do, like separating dog fights or controlling unruly large animals. I'm currently self-employeed and can craft my schedule at will to fit any needs! Available for walks, sitting, overnight boarding, and pop in visits at all times. I have 3 dogs, 6 cats, and a frog. Large home and almost a half acre yard, fence coming soon. I am no stranger to all types of animals and animal care.

She was very concerned about our one cat because she would not eat for her, but she worked it out and tried different things to gain Mikad trust and she finally trusted Amanda to come out and eat. About: I’ve owned dogs, cats, and horses my entire life. I’ve been dog sitting for others for 7 years. I’ve owned dogs with behavioral issues from resource guarding to fear reactivity towards other people and animals and medical needs like Degenerative Myelopathy, ACL tears, dental disease, and an enlarged heart requiring specialized attention and care. I am a lead volunteer trainer of new volunteer dog handlers at the Harrisburg Humane Society. When I’m not training new volunteers, I handle dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, behavioral, and medical needs. I’ve taken dogs to off site events for exposure and I’m an adoption counselor helping pair families with the right dog for their home. I have worked with rescue and foster dogs. I will make sure that your dog’s needs are met and will meet them at their level while helping them grow. I will work on patience and consistency, and I will even work on commands with them. I have experience walking multiple dogs at once as well. Your dog’s needs will be met and they will be just as loved and happy until you get home to them! I am currently a high school English teacher and pursuing my Masters in Business Administration and Strategic Leadership while also running volunteer trainings at the Humane Society of Harrisburg weekly. I used to waitress part-time 45 minutes away, but it became too much with my work and school schedule. I love working with people and animals while educating both and this allows me the flexibility to do what I love. From the end of August-middle of June I primarily have hours after 4 and through the evening during the week. While I am on breaks throughout the year and during summer, my availability is open during the mornings and daytime as well. I can be flexible on weekends depending on the time and day! I will meet every need you have for your dog or cat. I am reliable, patient, and consistent. I can work on things your pet is struggling with like impulse control, commands, leash walking, etc. I am comfortable crating and separating pets as needed. If your dog has reactivity with new people or other animals - I have an extra soft spot for them as my own pets have struggled with that. I will do slow introductions to make sure your pet is building a relationship with me that is safe and comfortable at their pace. Consistency, patience, and structure is key. I can provide a mix of walks and play time as well as enrichment if the weather is bad. I do not mind the weather changes or daylight changes as their needs come first. Even if your dog wants a quick walk and cuddle time, we will do what they need. I will also communicate with you each time by sending a detailed pet update or report card so you know how they are doing.

About: I've been pet sitting since i was 13, I am currently 19 with a dog and cat of my own! I've taken care of seniors as-well as puppies. I've potty trained, taught tricks, and have done special care when needed. I love to go on long hikes and bring my dog with me! I go on walks about 3 times a day, as my dog is very active. She is a bit shy and I was unsure if she would eat and accept her meds, but Dane worked his magic and she ate both meals and received insulin. What a relief! Milo was a bit shy the first day but was ready to say hello on the second day. I will definitely call on Dane & Kayla again!”

About: I have always loved dogs. In 2021, I adopted a German shepherd and joined a training group. Practicing and training with my own dog every day led to me developing a passion for walking and working with dogs. Since then, I have walked many dogs, including structured walks where we practice heel, sit, place, and other basic commands. I also have experience assisting my trainer with client lessons and dog sat overnight for a home with multiple dogs. I have experience with large dogs, and could also help them to practice walking nicely on a leash. I have worked with and walked small, medium, and large dogs, and even a very large dog. I truly care that dogs get enough mental and physical stimulation so that they can live their happiest lives. Even in rainy weather, I enjoy taking out my dog. I’d love to help more dogs get more walks and sniffs in! I have also dropped in to care for friends’ cats and am comfortable providing cat care drop ins as well. I have a fresh water aquarium at home and could feed fish too! I am a freelance writer with a flexible schedule. Currently, I prefer to walk dogs during the day or in the afternoon, but I could work with other times. I would be available to walk dogs or drop in Mondays through Fridays and some Saturdays. I’m willing to work with you! I am very respectful of others’ homes and their rules for their pets. When pet sitting in the past, I have used a lock box to access a key and returned the key to the box upon leaving the home. I am also familiar with crate training and can follow instructions for how you’d like your dog to be greeted and let out. I am able to drop in to let your dog out to the bathroom, either in your fenced in yard or on a leash. I am also available for walks, taking dogs to the park, playing, or practicing training.

About: I’ve grown up in many households of pets - right now I have a great dane (Luna)! Past experience with puppies to older dogs including chihuahuas, doodles, labs, pitbulls, bulldogs, german shepherds, boxers, retrievers, great danes, etc! I’ve done any care including feeding, bathing, potty breaks, cleaning, walking, etc. Between May-August my schedule revolves around my part time job, but I am very flexible. During the school year, August-May, I am a full time nursing student, but still available most evenings and weekends! I will care for your pets in your home just as I would want a sitter to do in my own! Your pet’s comfort and keeping your space in good shape is my top priority.

About: My name is Hunter and my wife’s name is Hope, I am 25 and she is 24. We absolutely love animals. We both have several cats and dogs of our own. I’ve grown up in a family that have had lots of pets as well. I’ve been dog/ cat sitting for about 4 years now and I really enjoy doing it as a side hustle. I am able to give meditation and take your dogs for walks as requested by owners. I work a full time job during the week from 6am-2pm during the week. I have off on Thursdays and the weekends which I can be at your house anytime before or after then. I am able to do two drop in visits per day. I always make sure nothing is left out or down that pets can accidentally get ahold of. I also always supervise pets whether they are in the house or out in the yard.

About: I have been taking care of dogs for the last 5 years. I love training them and sometimes showing them. My friends often ask me to look after their animals. I enjoy walking with animals and giving them the attention they really need. I also take care of pets that need medication, following the prescription, and ensuring they are fed. I'm working from home these days, so I get to spend a lot of time with animals. They're having a blast and not getting bored at all!
