I've grown up with animals and have experience caring for my own pets as well as dogs, cats, and other animals belonging to friends and family. My husband and I have experience with raising puppy litters over the years as well! I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I want to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for while you're away. Whether your pet needs a walk, some playtime and attention, meals and medication, or simply some company, I'm happy to provide personalized care based on what works best for them. My schedule is very flexible and I'm responsible, dependable, and will treat your pets and your home with the same care and respect I'd want for my own. I love sending photos and updates so you can have peace of mind knowing your pets are happy and doing well while you're away! I work part-time from home, which gives me a lot of flexibility with my schedule. I'm usually able to work around your pet's routine and am available for walks, drop-ins, and sitting throughout the week. I'm happy to work with different schedules and do my best to accommodate whatever works best for you and your pets! I have two friendly medium-sized dogs (Shiba Inus) and a very social kitty who are very well socialized with other animals. They are all indoor/outdoor, so if your pet enjoys having some company, they're welcome to interact with them - or I can keep them separate if they prefer their own space. I have a private, fenced-in backyard where your pets can safely get some fresh air, exercise, and playtime. I want every pet to feel comfortable and safe, so I'll always follow your preferences and your pet's individual needs.

About: Hello! My name is Lauren. I work as a nurse at Hershey Medical part time and I'm looking to take care of pets in my free time! My last dog had diabetes and other health issues so I’m experienced with administering shots and medications. He was also blind so I’m experienced with those pups who cannot see! I fostered kittens and currently have a cat of my own. I also have experience with rabbits and guinea pigs. I will be sure to send pictures of your fur babies while you are away! I'm currently working part time as a nurse so I can provide care to your animal on my days off which will be provided in my availability calendar. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
