About: I have taken care of dogs for about three years now. I have experience walking, feeding, bathing, and teaching basic commands (sit, stay, wait). I also have experience with dogs that have epilepsy and take medications, as the dog that I have has epilepsy and takes medications, so I know how to handle seizures and tremors when they occur. I work Thursday-Saturday 6am6pm and 6am-2pm every other Wednesday! I am free Sunday-Tuesdays and would love to help take care of your pet(s)! I have successfully crate trained my dog within my home and am comfortable crate training when needed, necessary, or asked of me by a client. I take your fur baby's safety just as seriously as I take my own dog's safety.

About: Hi! I’m a dedicated animal lover and experienced pet caregiver with a home full of personality including my two Shar-Peis (Dior and Hercules) and two tortoises(Cleo and Franklin). Caring for my special needs Shar-Pei Hercules has taught me patience, attentiveness, and how important individualized care is for every pet. I know pets are family, and I treat every animal with the same love, safety, and attention I give my own. Whether your pet loves playtime, cuddles, routine, or extra patience, I’m committed to making them feel comfortable, happy, and cared for while you’re away. I work part-time (8 days per month), which allows me to dedicate a large portion of my time to pet care. My daily routine already revolves around caring for my own pets, including two Shar-Peis—one with special needs—and two tortoises. Because of this, I’m experienced in maintaining consistent schedules, providing attentive supervision, and adapting care based on each animal’s individual needs. I’m able to offer dependable, flexible care and give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness are my top priorities. I provide a loving, calm, and attentive environment where pets are treated like family. I understand that every animal has different needs, personalities, and routines, and I make it a priority to follow their schedule as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and secure. In my home, pets receive plenty of attention, supervised play, potty breaks, exercise, and affection. I have experience caring for my own two Shar-Peis, including one with special needs, which has taught me patience, awareness, and the importance of individualized care. I also care for two tortoises, giving me experience with animals beyond dogs as well. I’m attentive to behavior, eating habits, and overall comfort, and I’m happy to follow any feeding, medication, or care instructions you provide. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, loved, and at home while giving you peace of mind while you’re away.

About: I've always cared for and understood the unique needs of pets. My friends and family have had me house sit and care for their animals ever since I was old enough to do it. I love all of my family's pets along the way, and every animal I've met. I will be available almost every day to care for your pets. I work full time currently, but my work is remote so I can easily tend to pets when needed. I can easily follow directions/instructions and can crate your pet if needed. I am focused on keeping your animals and home safe and comfortable. I am respectful and I do not drink or smoke.

About: 🌟 Christina’s Cozy Pet Care Small-Dog Care | Boarding, Daycare, Walks & Drop-In Visits Welcome to Christina’s Cozy Pet Care — where every pet feels at home! Hi, I’m Christina, a dedicated pet sitter who specializes in small dogs under 25 lbs. I offer overnight boarding in my home, doggie daycare, dog walking, and drop-in visits, all with a calm, loving, and reliable approach you can trust. I know how important it is to feel confident about who’s caring for your pet. Whether you’re heading out of town, working long hours, or just need a little extra help, my goal is to provide consistent, gentle care so your dog feels safe, happy, and loved — and so you have total peace of mind. ⸻ 🐾 My Services 🛏️ Overnight Boarding (In My Home) Your small dog will enjoy a cozy, home-based stay with lots of attention, routine, and comfort. This is a great option for vacations or business trips when you want your pup cared for like family. ☀️ Doggie Daycare Perfect for socialization, companionship, and breaking up long days. Your pup will enjoy a calm environment with playtime, rest, and affection throughout the day. 🚶‍♀️ Dog Walking I offer safe, attentive walks for small dogs to help burn energy, support healthy routines, and provide mental stimulation. 🏡 Drop-In Visits Ideal for feeding, potty breaks, playtime, and check-ins when you’re gone for the day. Drop-ins are great for pets who are most comfortable staying in their own home. ⸻ 🐶 Why Small Dogs Only? I specialize in small dogs because they thrive in a quieter, low-stress environment. By caring for pups under 25 lbs only, I’m able to provide a safer, calmer experience that’s especially comforting for little dogs, seniors, or those who prefer gentle play. ⸻ 🏠 My Home & Care Style My home is clean, calm, and welcoming — a true home-away-from-home for small dogs. I’m home most of the day and provide plenty of companionship, affection, and supervision. I do run normal errands, so dogs may be left alone for short periods (typically 2–4 hours). For dogs who need constant supervision, accommodations can be discussed. ⸻ ❤️ What You Can Expect • Loving, reliable care • A calm and cozy environment • Regular potty breaks and walks • Playtime, rest, and snuggles • Daily updates and photos • Clear communication and responsiveness • A sitter who treats your dog like family ⸻ 📋 Meet & Greets I strongly recommend a meet & greet before booking whenever possible. This helps ensure we’re a great fit and allows your pup to feel comfortable and familiar. ⸻ 📩 Let’s Connect If you’re looking for a dependable, caring sitter who truly loves small dogs, I’d love to meet you and your pup. Send me a message with any questions or to schedule a meet & greet! Christina’s Cozy Pet Care — Where Every Pet Feels at Home. 🐾💛 I work part-time from home, which allows me to spend plenty of time with your pets during the day. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and overnight care, and I’ll make sure your dog gets all the attention, playtime, and care they need. I have a large fenced yard and two kitties that keep to themselves but are super sweet and friendly. And a small chihuahua mix who loves all doggy’s and animals.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first .

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
