About: Hi! I’m Michelle, and animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve always had rescue dogs and cats, and caring for them has been one of the greatest joys in my life. I’ve raised and cared for several of my own rescues. I’ve also fostered and occasionally foster failed before ultimately adopting. Through those experiences I’ve cared for pets with very different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I’ve worked with animals ranging from tiny kittens to gentle giants like Great Pyrenees. I’m a dependable, detail-oriented person who understands that every pet has their own routine. Whether your pet needs a long walk, playtime, cuddles, or simply someone to keep them company while you’re away, I’ll do my best to make them feel comfortable and loved. Communication is important to me, so you can expect regular updates and photos while your pet is in my care. My goal is for you to have peace of mind knowing your furry family member is being treated like one of my own. Spending time with animals is one of my favorite parts of the week. I keep my schedule organized so I can provide reliable, dependable care. I’m available for morning and evening visits during the workweek, as well as weekends, and I’ll always communicate clearly if I have any scheduling limitations. I believe pets are happiest when they can stick to their normal routine, especially while their family is away. In your home, I’ll follow your pet’s schedule as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any special instructions you provide.

About: I've taken care of pets for more than seven years, from dogs and cats to birds, fish, and rabbits. I have experience with kittens, and with seniors that need a little extra help. I know how scary it can be to leave your pets at home, so my goal is to give them the highest level of love and care possible so you can feel peace of mind while you're away. I'm currently working on a master's degree, so my schedule is very flexible with only a couple classes every day. I'm comfortable with either drop-in or overnight roles, and will have plenty of time to make sure your pets get lots of attention! I am always extremely careful to follow all of the details of the care plan to keep your pets and home safe. Whether that's triple checking to make sure that escape artists stay where they need to, or sitting with a senior cat for an hour to make sure he eats, or helping a mobility-challenged dog down the porch stairs safely, I will do whatever it takes to keep your pets healthy, happy, and safe.

About: I have been around and loved dogs for my entire life. One of our family dogs had two litters while I was in high school and I helped take care of and raise the puppies. I also frequently pet-sat for neighbors and friends. Last year my wife and I adopted a puppy from Puerto Rico who we adore. I look forward to giving your pets the care and love they deserve! I do freelance work as a musician and dancer, so I have a fairly unpredictable schedule. Currently I am available on weekdays from 8 AM to 10 PM but I can be available on some weekends. I am happy to play with your dogs in their home or yard, to work on training as needed (our dog has been in training courses for around six months), or to do whatever else your dog will enjoy! I also enjoy walks and am happy to take your dog around the neighborhood or to nearby parks.

About: I've been caring for dogs for eight years! I started in high school when I regularly looked after my neighbor's three dogs for anywhere from a few days to a couple of months at a time. I quickly learned each dog's individual needs: their walk schedule, bathroom habits, eating preferences, and how to get them to take their meds. They were all different sizes and breeds, and I loved every minute of it. Since then I've expanded my experience through Rover, caring for multiple dogs across a variety of households. When I visit, I'm responsible and thorough. I make sure water bowls are filled, each dog gets real playtime and attention, meals are portioned correctly, and everything is secure before I leave. Honestly, animals are just a huge part of my everyday life. I have my own gray cat named Pluto, who I've had for six years and who is absolutely the light of my life. Between my sisters and my closest friends, I'm around anywhere from two to six cats on any given day, so pets are my life. I would have had a dog too if my parents had let me! I treat every dog I visit like they're my own. There's something so special about bonding with a pet since they're each so unique, and getting to make new furry friends through is an absolute joy. I just finished my undergraduate degree so I'm on summer break before I start my graduate program in August. This means that I am completely flexible and can come in on any days at any times to care for your fur babies! For drop-ins, I cover all the basics: food, water, cleaning up messes, bringing in the mail, making sure everything is locked up tight. But what I care about most is that each pet actually feels loved while their owner is away. I take my time with every visit and give each animal real attention, not just a quick pass-through. When pets are worried, anxious, or want to play, I like to spend a lot of extra time with them so they can feel safe and loved.

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was a kid. I grew up with rabbits and took care of neighbors pets regularly. As an adult, I have been petsitting consistently for about two years. I’m a grad student with a flexible schedule I’m happy to bend to your pet’s needs, but am generally available weekday mid-mornings and evenings, as well as weekends. I can drop in or housesit, whichever makes you comfortable. I’m especially good with shy or anxious animals and take things at their pace, and am very experienced giving meds.

About: I have owned pets since I was small and have been pet sitting professionally for 5 years. I am completely trustworthy in your home and with your pets. I will do all tasks to your specifications and understand that each pet owner has their unique way of doing things and will keep it the same. I will keep your house very clean while you are away. I wash pet dishes each day, change all water dishes each day. I am up for walks and playing with toys and will give as much petting as your pet prefers. I will keep you in close contact with daily updates and photos. I am fine with senior dogs and giving medication as well. I am a mom with grown children out of the house and will be solid for you. I have a flexible schedule and will work with your preferred times for me to come. I don't do overnight stays (but can recommend someone who does) but can come several times a day if that works for you and your pet. In your home I will always check that all doors are securely locked when I leave and always do a quick sweep of the home to make sure nothing is amiss and that the pets have not gotten into any trouble. I am completely trustworthy and would never take anything from your home or even look in your cabinets. I will keep your house clean, pet dishes cleaned each day, litter boxes cleaned twice a day, and anything else you specify for your pet. Pets will get my undivided attention while I am with them and utmost care.

About: I have 50+ hours volunteering to walk dogs at a local shelter. I am capable of preforming basic dog and cat grooming (cutting nails, bathing, tooth brushing, etc.) and I have extensive experience caring for senior pets and training puppies. I am currently working a full time job that is very flexible, so I have plenty of time to devote to your pets! Drop ins and house sitting are my primary options! I’ve done it all: pet sitting, long or short walks, boarding and, of course, taking care of my own pets! I’ve given medication to dogs/cats of various ages and sizes. We can go for walks, hikes, swim and even have a park day. If your dog is less active, I can adjust our activity level!

About: I’ve grown up having dogs of all different sizes and breeds. I have a passion for animals of all kinds. Friends and family tend to call on me and my daughter for help when it comes to needing a pet sitter. I am surrounded by animals in my daily life. I have 1 large dog and 2 outdoor kitties. I’ve seen many transform into well-adjusted companions under my care** I have years of experience caring for and tending to older dogs and cats with various health issues like hip dysplasia and incontinence, in addition to puppy and kitten care, too. I am patient and kind even with the highest maintenance puppies. I fostered neglected/previously abused dogs with Carolina Adopt-A-Bulls rescue for over 4 years. I am very experienced with mitigating leash reactivity and caring for heartworm-positive pets throughout their treatment, and I look out for dangerous situations before they happen. I am well versed in canine first aid and wound care. I am also a foster volunteer through the Bloomington Animal Shelter. I do not currently have a foster dog. I am attentive, caring, experienced, and kind. I can’t wait to meet your pets. I am a doctoral student, so I have some flexibility in my schedule. I’m booked up until 6pm on Wednesdays, but have more flexibility the rest of the week. I can take your pup for walks around the neighborhood, campus, or the many parks Bloomington has to offer. I have a comfy dog bed for canine visitors to lounge in while I’m studying.

About: Hi! I’m Samantha, a lifelong animal lover and proud pet parent of 13 years. For over a decade, I have cared for my own pets and have also had the pleasure of pet sitting annually for four wonderful families. Whether it is walks, playtime, or feeding, I treat every animal like my own. I am available during 12:00 PM-1:00 PM most weekdays for a quick visit and after 5:00 PM. I am available most weekends for all hours. I personally do not do dog/cat sitting in my own home. I do have a lovely 1 year old mini Schnauzer named Suki and had a beloved mini Schnauzer named Layla for 9 years!

About: I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, from puppies to seniors. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, so I understand their different needs, behaviors, and routines at every stage. Growing up, I cared for several of my neighbors’ pets and have been pet sitting in my community every summer since. I have plenty of time to dedicate to your pets, and I’m very active, so I love going on walks and spending time outside with them. I live in a neighborhood with a dog park, easy access to a trail, and sidewalks that are perfect for walks. While I don’t have a large yard or crate, there is plenty of space in my home to accommodate one if needed. Dogs are welcome in any room and on furniture, and I make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for at all times.

About: I have plenty of experience taking care of animals growing up. I spent some time caring for my family's disabled dog, so I am not afraid of tackling some extra conditions. Friends and family have loved me as a top choice for petsitting. I can work weekends pretty consistently. As long as I have a notice ahead of time (preferably two weeks), then I am able to accommodate most times. I do best with specific instructions. I do not mind spending a little extra time hanging out with them because I know how lonely they can get when they miss you!
