I have taken care of animals since I was young. Whether it be through volunteer work or my own family pets, I put forth my full attention to the animals I take care of. As my family pets have aged, I have transitional experience with senior dog care. This includes oral medication and under-the-skin injections. Amongst other pet care skills such as teeth and ear cleanings and nail trims. My cat care is also thorough. I have two of my own kitties that live with me in Bloomington. It is crucial to provide them spaces to roam, climb, and lounge, which I have accommodated for in my home, should you want to board!

Katherine was amazing with Apollo! I needed two last minute walks and she was able to accommodate. She sent lots of photos and details. Apollo loved her!

Katherine was wonderful with my dog! She took great care of Huxley. He is a very energetic dog and she kept him happy and well exercised through walks and play time. Huxley came back in a great mood and she kept me updated on how he was doing the entire time. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone and hopefully I will be able to have her watch the pooch again.

Amazing!!! I was so worried about leaving my kitten with someone else for the first time but I am so glad I did it with Katie. She even asked if I would like her to cut my cat’s nails for me and did a great job! Would recommend
Katie is truly amazing with animals! She’s incredibly loving and gentle with our 14-month-old kitty cat, Mali — always cuddling with her, playing, and making sure she feels safe and adored. Katie has two dogs back home, Gracie and Luna, who absolutely adore her, and she treats them like her babies. She’s constantly feeding and petting the neighborhood cats, and she lights up every time she sees an animal. Her phone is filled with thousands of photos of her furry friends — each one loved like family. Katie is kind, reliable, and has a natural, heartfelt connection with animals. You can trust her completely to care for your pets as if they were her own.

Schedule
In January 2026, I will be transitioning to a full-time role. Therefore I will be on stricter schedule for bathroom breaks, check-ins, and drop-offs. It’d be 6-8hrs in between, and only middle evening walks.

Safety, trust & environment
I have the pleasure to have a fenced in backyard in a quiet, residential neighborhood. Your pets will have quick access for potty breaks and outside play time. The B-line trail is also just behind our house, so we can plan for plenty of walks while in my care. My cats, Mali and Lottie, are fully indoor cats and fully vaccinated, while also on Revolution Plus.
Pets
A typical day
I'd love to spend my time with your pets closest to their schedule that I can provide. I am up in the mornings before work for a morning walk and bathroom break. If they have a regular feeding schedule I can ensure we maintain their routine. It would be amazing if you brought some of their favorite treats, toys, and bedding to make sure they're as comfortable as possible in my care during boarding. If at all you wish for me to help with hygiene and/or health needs, I'm more than happy to discuss that with you!
