Hi there! I’m an avid animal lover with a gentle, patient approach to pet care. I share my home with a sweet kitty named Evie and my rescue beagle, Mylo: a lovable goofball who keeps me humble and well‑trained. I always look after every pet with the same attentiveness, patience, and high quality care I give my own little crew. 🐾 Before pursuing social work, I actually planned to become a veterinary technician, and that early passion for animals has stayed with me. I’ve volunteered at the Wabash animal shelter, spent years riding horses, and gained hands‑on experience with all kinds of personalities and needs. Mylo, who struggles with anxiety, has taught me a lot about de‑escalating reactivity and building trust through positive reinforcement. He also takes daily medication, so I’m very comfortable administering meds and following specific care routines. Mylo likes to think of it as his “evening treat with extra steps.” Over the past several years, I’ve pet‑sat for friends, family, and their extended circles. This has allowed me to care for pets of all ages and ranging needs. No matter the temperament, I adapt to each animal’s personality, mood, and boundaries. Scout has special needs. He is blind, diabetic and is reactive to dogs. Mirte has been excellent with walking him. She has also worked with his quirks that makes him difficult to walk. I noticed a difference when I walk him only after 2 weeks. It is a pleasure to have someone dependable and attentive to my needs. I needed immediate help due to a fall with him.

Mirte was absolutely outstanding! From the moment we connected, she was communicative, thoughtful, and incredibly caring with our home and pets. She went above and beyond in every way, sending regular updates and photos that gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. Our pets clearly adored her, and it was obvious she treated them like her own. We came home to a spotless house, happy animals, and everything handled perfectly. Mirte is reliable, kind, professional, and truly one of the best sitters we’ve ever worked with. We would book her again in a heartbeat and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and compassionate to care for their pets and home. Five stars all around!
Mirte did a wonderful job pet sitting for my senior dog. She were patient, attentive, and clearly very caring. I felt comfortable on my trip knowing my dog was in good hands.
Mirte is an amazing pet sitter! She took wonderful care of my two cats while I was on vacation and consistently sent plenty of pictures and updates. One of my cats is super energetic, and she made sure to burn off his energy while carefully following all care instructions. Thank you Mirte!

I love caring for pets where they feel safest, their home 🏡🐾. While I’m there, I carefully follow your pet’s routine and keep their space clean and comfortable, so you return to a happy, relaxed fur baby and a home that feels just as you left it (or better).

A typical day
I love getting pets out and about. I’m a big hiker, so I’m always up for an adventure - whether that’s exploring a local trail or keeping things simple with a relaxed neighborhood walk. I follow each pet’s energy and comfort level. If they’re playful, we’ll burn off some zoomies; if they’re more of a laid-back type, I’m just as happy to keep things calm and cozy. Whatever their style, I make sure they get the kind of day that leaves them happy and relaxed.
