About: Hi! I’m Jenna, a lifelong Bloomingtonian and best friend to every dog I’ve ever met! I am a stay-at-home mom to a preschooler and I also help run a national non-profit rescue for French Bulldogs. I have deeply loved several bulldogs in my lifetime, and as such am very adept to handling brachycephalic breeds and their particular needs. (Though it should be noted I tend to regular-nosed breeds with the same loving care!) As a former medical assistant, I am very comfortable caring for animals with moderate medical needs, those with disabilities, those requiring medication administration, etc. I have cared for hospice dogs, dietary restrictions, Mega-esophagus, Colitis, deafness and total blindness. You could say that special needs are my specialty. I have over 20 years of experience helping folks take care of their fur babies, from Pugs to Cane Corsos and lots in between. Dogs have always been my best friends and luckily, lots of humans pick up on that when they meet me. Most of my experience has been private house sitting and in-home pet care for coworkers for periods of a few hours up to a few weeks. I am brand new to Rover, but not new to taking care of animals. I currently work for a dog rescue remotely and am otherwise a stay-at-home-mom to a preschooler. I also provide daily care for one resident special needs rescue French Bulldog. I care for pets in the way that is safest for them, regardless of where that is. In my home, dogs are under my constant care. They will be taken outside on a leash as I do not have a fenced yard.

About: Hi there! I’m an avid animal lover with a gentle, patient approach to pet care. I share my home with a sweet kitty named Evie and my rescue beagle, Mylo: a lovable goofball who keeps me humble and well‑trained. I always look after every pet with the same attentiveness, patience, and high quality care I give my own little crew. 🐾 󠁺 Before pursuing social work, I actually planned to become a veterinary technician, and that early passion for animals has stayed with me. I’ve volunteered at the Wabash animal shelter, spent years riding horses, and gained hands‑on experience with all kinds of personalities and needs. Mylo, who struggles with anxiety, has taught me a lot about de‑escalating reactivity and building trust through positive reinforcement. He also takes daily medication, so I’m very comfortable administering meds and following specific care routines. Mylo likes to think of it as his “evening treat with extra steps.” 󠁺 Over the past several years, I’ve pet‑sat for friends, family, and their extended circles. This has allowed me to care for pets of all ages and ranging needs. No matter the temperament, I adapt to each animal’s personality, mood, and boundaries. About: I have plenty of experience taking care of animals growing up. I spent some time caring for my family's disabled dog, so I am not afraid of tackling some extra conditions. Friends and family have loved me as a top choice for petsitting. I am an independent artist which allows me to be fairly flexible. I can adjust my times to work with your work or vacation schedule I do best with specific instructions. I do not mind spending a little extra time hanging out with them because I know how lonely they can get when they miss you!

About: Hi! I’m Samantha, a lifelong animal lover and proud pet parent of 13 years. For over a decade, I have cared for my own pets and have also had the pleasure of pet sitting annually for four wonderful families. Whether it is walks, playtime, or feeding, I treat every animal like my own. I am available during 12:00 PM-1:00 PM most weekdays for a quick visit and after 5:00 PM. I am available most weekends for all hours. I personally do not do dog/cat sitting in my own home. I do have a lovely 1 year old mini Schnauzer named Suki and had a beloved mini Schnauzer named Layla for 9 years!

About: I have babysat for many family members and friends. I worked at a dog daycare business for 3 years as well! I have tons of experience with just about any breed, and I am always happy to learn something new about taking care of your pet! About: Hi! I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up taking care of my own pets as well as helping family and friends with theirs. I was also raised around farm dogs, cats, and large farm animals, which made me very comfortable and confident around all kinds of animals, big or small. Over the years, I’ve done overnight stays, in home pet sitting, and daily care. I understand how important it is to have someone you trust looking after your pets. I currently don’t live with my two beagles and three cats (they’re at my family home with my parents), and I truly miss being around animals every day. That’s a big reason why I joined Rover, I love the companionship pets bring, and I’d be excited to care for yours while also picking up some extra work. I’m reliable, hardworking, responsible, and genuinely caring. You can count on me to show up, follow instructions closely, and give your pets the attention, love, and care they deserve. I’d love to meet you and your pet. I currently work six days a week from 3:30pm-9:30pm. I am fully available all other hours of the week. Also if given two weeks notice am happy to adjust my schedule to your needs. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’ve grown up around all kinds of animals from very friendly to shy or anxious so I understand that every pet has a unique personality and specific needs. I will always follow your instructions carefully and completely, because this is your pet and your guidance matters most. I treat every animal with the same love, patience, and respect that I give my own. I truly believe pets are family members and deserve attentive, compassionate care. At this time, I do not have a fenced yard and am unable to host overnight stays longer than one night. However, if you’re looking for a quick Saturday night sitter, I do have a pet and child free home. There are no unsafe items within reach, and if your pet is crate trained, we have plenty of space to accommodate them comfortably but I also don’t mind a cuddly pet who prefers to sleep on the couch or bed as well. That said, I generally prefer staying overnight in your home, where your pet feels most secure and relaxed. I also have references who can attest to my respectful and responsible nature when caring for pets in others’ homes. Having walked my two dogs together for years, I’m confident in my strength and stamina your pup will be safe and secure on walks with me. You can trust that your pet will be cared for as if they were my own.

About: I have taken care of animals my whole life. I have always had at least one cat, and had dogs for 17 years of my life. I have also taken care of family and friends’ pets while they are out of town plenty of times. I am available all day every day for any kind of pet needs, and I can house cats overnight, however, I am unable to house dogs overnight. I am within walking distance of a dog park, and can bring animals inside or outside, whichever their needs are. I can also keep and transfer pets inside crates as needed.

About: I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, from puppies to seniors. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, so I understand their different needs, behaviors, and routines at every stage. Growing up, I cared for several of my neighbors’ pets and have been pet sitting in my community every summer since. I’m currently a senior in undergrad, so my class schedule is pretty light and flexible. I have plenty of time to dedicate to your pets, and I’m very active, so I love going on walks and spending time outside with them. I live in a neighborhood with a dog park, easy access to a trail, and sidewalks that are perfect for walks. While I don’t have a large yard or crate, there is plenty of space in my home to accommodate one if needed. Dogs are welcome in any room and on furniture, and I make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for at all times.

About: I have done in-house dog sitting for others, as well as had my own pet dogs growing up. I have experience with a range of breeds and sizes. I am Cat and Dog First Aid certified. I work flexible part-time jobs, so my week-to-week schedule is varied. I am open to overnight sitting or just for a few hours at a time. Reach out to me even if I am listed as unavailable as I may only be available at a certain time. I have a dog walking job outside of Rover that I do M-F late morning/early afternoon. I make sure to understand a pets' needs and to meet those standards, while making sure their environment is safe. Conveying those needs is important to me before actually beginning pet care. I understand pet body language and give them the space and respect they deserve. I care a lot about pets and their well-being. I even volunteer at a few rescues every week!

About: I'm the Pet Sitter of your dreams ☁️ I grew up raising multiple animals! Such as Pitbulls, Chihuahuas, Huskies, German Sheppards, Cats, Turtles, Snakes, even a Monkey! You name it, I have taken care of them! While I lived in Indianapolis i used to foster animals from the local animal shelter as often as I could! I also have experience with all types of aged animals. From just born to 16 years! I am a HUGE animal lover! Boarding is a Passion of mine ❤️ I decided to become a FULL-TIME Sitter! So I am home 24/7 to care for your baby or babies (lets face it they are our babies haha) Whether they have a special diet, certain treats, medications, set schedule, or pretty much anything I can do it! Because I am always home I will be constantly taking pictures of all the precious pets and sending them to you! (Unless you prefer I didn't) I guarantee all pets will go home in the same shape, and spirit they came in, if not even better! I currently decided to take a break from the "real world" and make Boarding my passion! So I am home 24/7 to care for your babies! (Besides the occasional grocery shopping, Doctors appointments, etc) I have a HUGE unfenced yard, (I do have Leads outside if your pup/dog requires one). I take them out every 1-3 hours, whether it’s for a walk or just running around the yard. I do give them treats for tricks, good behavior, and listening to simple commands! I will provide a basic types treats and toys. If you prefer your brand please bring enough to last while your pet is with me. If your pet is on a special diet, certain type of food, certain time they eat, medication, etc I am more then happy to follow your schedule.

About: **I have 5 years of experience fostering and training reactive, aggressive, and fearful dogs. I’ve seen many transform into well-adjusted companions under my care** I spent years tending to older dogs and cats with various health issues like hip dysplasia and incontinence, in addition to caring for puppies and kittens, too. I am patient and kind even with the highest maintenance puppies. I fostered neglected/previously abused dogs with Carolina Adopt-A-Bulls rescue for over 4 years. I am very experienced with mitigating leash reactivity and caring for heartworm-positive pets throughout their treatment, and I look out for dangerous situations before they happen. I am well versed in canine first aid and wound care. I am also a foster volunteer through the Bloomington Animal Shelter. I do not currently have a foster dog. I am attentive, caring, experienced, and kind. I can’t wait to meet your pets. I am a doctoral student, so I have some flexibility in my schedule. I’m booked up until 6pm on Wednesdays, but have more flexibility the rest of the week. I can take your pup for walks around the neighborhood, campus, or the many parks Bloomington has to offer. I have a comfy dog bed for canine visitors to lounge in while I’m studying.
