Doug & Luiz Pet care is part of our everyday routine. One of us is home throughout the day so dogs receive consistent supervision and attention. Our mornings usually begin around 6 AM with potty breaks, feeding, and short walks. Throughout the day we rotate outdoor time, play sessions, and rest periods depending on each dog’s energy level. Because our home is set up specifically for dog boarding and daycare, we can easily adjust routines for medications, feeding schedules, extra potty breaks, or dogs that prefer quieter space. Dogs staying with us enjoy a safe and comfortable home environment with plenty of supervised attention. We have a large fully fenced yard for outdoor time, and an additional floor of our home is dedicated to the dogs. This allows us to separate guests when needed and provide quiet space for dogs who prefer their own area. We follow each dog’s routine closely and take time to learn their habits, preferences, and comfort level so they can settle in quickly.

“My dog Rosie, is a big, very strong and high energy Great Dane. Steve does a great job walking her, allowing her to explore and have fun while keeping her under safe control as well. Rosie loves her walks with Steve and even gets excited when she sees his car coming down our street ! Rosie and I will definitely be calling Steve again!”

About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was 9 years old and have always had pets in my home. From playful Golden Retrievers to energetic Jack Russells - and cats with all kinds of personalities - I’m comfortable providing attentive, loving care that keeps pets happy and safe. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I currently have a very open and flexible schedule. That means I’m able to give pets plenty of attention, stick to their usual routines, and be available for last-minute or extended care when needed. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine consistent so they feel comfortable and stress-free. I provide lots of attention, playtime, and affection, while also making sure their feeding, walks, and any special care needs are handled exactly as instructed. I treat both the pets and the home with the same respect I would my own.
About: I've been pet sitting for family, friends, and neighbors for as long as I can remember. Apart from my current two dogs, I've also raised three previous dogs from being a puppy into their senior years. I'm a firm believer in positive reinforcement training, every dog deserves the utmost love and care. I own my own business and set my own hours so I can accommodate anyone's pet care needs. I'm fine with short notice requests and can work with anyone's schedule! I have two dogs that can run around freely in my fenced in backyard. They each get at least two solo shorter walks (about 15 minutes around the park we live next to) per day and an additional longer walk (around 45-60 minutes) once my girlfriend gets home from work where we walk both together.
About: I've taken care of pets since a young age not just dogs but cats, birds, even hamsters. I'm so entuned with them and they bring me peace back. I know how to train them into doing so really cool tricks too. Well I'm self employed so I have open time and would love to do something I love with my spare time and I always love being with pets. I can crate your dog if needed but they will have plenty of space you roam and loads of structured play time. Scheduled potty breaks and walks and safe from anything harmful to them
“Jade is absolutely awesome! She has been terrific with my boy Buddy. Jade takes the time to give my guy special attention and he loves his walks with her. She is so caring and you can really see the love she shares with my Buddyman! We love Jade!”
“My pup is still getting used to unfamiliar people walking him outside. Rachel’s shown a lot of patience as they get to know each other more and he’s warming up little by little. I’m so glad I found her to help out.”

“Anya is great to work with! She was great with our 1-year-old mini Aussie, and she follows our instructions on walks while keeping it fun. Would recommend working with her!”

About: I think what sets me apart from other pet sitters is that I am a very well-rounded pet owner, and I am not afraid of animals. I actually adore them. I own reptiles, a dog and a cat lol I have a pretty open schedule so as long as there is a clear stream line of communication between the both parties, I can rest assure you that we can make it work! I treat my pets like they are extended family, and I will do the same with your fur babies. I follow directions to the tea and will ask any questions if necessary if I need any clarification in regards to care.
About: I’ve had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I helped care for our two family dogs whenever needed. Walks, feedings, playtime, you name it. Now I have my own puppy, who I have been raising for 8 weeks old, so I know all about the energy pups need. I treat every dog like they’re my own, making sure they get plenty of exercise, love, and attention. I AM available after 4:30pm just reach out and let me know if you need availability on the weekends! I WFH 4 times a week, Thursday I am not home. I am around for walks, potty breaks, and feeding. I love going to the dog parks after work to make sure they get the physical excersize they need. I always treat the pet with respect, making sure they get the space they need while also giving them the attention they need. I always make sure the pet feels at home, by keeping their routine. I thoroughly follow any instructions provided by pet parent such as feeding, exercise, medication, etc… I have my own puppy therefore the pet will never be alone.
About: I feel what makes me different from other candidates is that I have treats for them. I make sure they are always comfortable. I give you updates on how they are doing. I know as dog parents sometimes we stress of knowing how they are. I also have been working taking care of dogs since I was 15. It was helped me learn a lot through the years Taking care of your fur baby fits in my daily routine because I have extra time and I enjoy going on walks and they bring so much joy. What makes my home safe is that I live a safe area. There is a park across the street across the street. They also get the backyard. There are no kids and they will monitored.

City Of Orange dog parents share their Rover experiences
Prince and I met with Thomas for a meet and greet and it was great! Seeing how Prince immediately warmed up to Thomas made me feel comfortable and confident in my dog walker decision. Thomas is so kind, professional and makes nervous dog parents feel at ease. I look forward to working with him, again.
Emma was absolutely fantastic!! Very communicative and very good with Keane who is a French bulldog and often has a mind of his own. They established a wonderful rapport and the dog was so happy to see her every time she arrived to walk him. I would highly recommend her.
Our pet is friendly, well-socialized, and used to a consistent routine. They respond well to structure, positive reinforcement, and regular activity, and they do best with someone who is attentive and patient. Dayra was a great fit because she is responsible, reliable, and genuinely loves animals. She’s attentive to details, follows routines carefully, and is very observant of behavior and needs. Dayra is calm, trustworthy, and takes commitment seriously, which makes her well-suited to providing a safe, caring, and stable environment for our pet.
Another amazing visit with Andrea! Laney loves her and they had a great time. While we were away, my mother and son were also present for Andrea’s visits and remarked how kind and friendly she was in addition to her great care of Laney. Thank you Andrea for being part of the village that allows us to step away every so often!

I had Taylor come walk our dog, Lola, and from the moment they met, Lola gravitated toward her. She immediately felt Taylor’s calm, kind energy , she’s soft-spoken, gentle, and very easy-going. By the time Taylor left, Lola was giving her hugs and kisses! It went so well that I booked her again the very next day for an earlier walk. Taylor was on time, super communicative, and Lola actually cried with excitement when she saw her again. We’re so happy to have potentially found our go-to dog walker!
