4. Tiffani P.
About: I have had a soft spot in my heart for animals of all kinds since I was a child. I was raised around animals as long as I can remember and when I turned 13 my parents got me my very own puppy after years of asking for one. She was my soul dog and I had her for a wonderful 15 years. I miss having wet noses, fur and paws padding around the house so I’m looking for other pets I can love on and keep safe while their parents are busy. I know how nerve-racking it can be too leave your animal with someone else, so I will do everything in my power to calm your nerves with updates and pictures, as well as give your baby the best love and care while your away. I will treat every pet as if they were my own spoiled baby. I am a travel nurse who is taking some time off so I have nothing pulling me away from caring for your fur baby. I’d be available 24/7 to care for your pet and keep them company. I have a cute cabin surrounded by acres of forest perfect for long walks and all the sniffing your dog can do! Inside is cozy and warm with a wood burning stove perfect for napping in front of once they are tuckered out from the outdoor activities.

5. Brittany K.
About: I have been caring for animals for the last decade whether it was my own cat (sadly passed last year), my grandma’s dog, and my brother’s puppy. I love animals! I love to play with them and make sure they’re happy and well taken care of. I have my own small creative business that I run out of my home. I look forward to and appreciate taking breaks to play with furry friends! I would prefer to pet sit at your home as my space is filled with work in progress projects. I have a smaller SUV and can take your dog to the dog park or beach if preferred

10. Erica B.
“Erica is a responsible, experienced and loving pet sitter and dog walker. She even stayed for two nights to watch my giant, crazy puppy and did a great job at managing that puppy energy all the while keeping my home safe from puppy damage. She also did great with my other dog that can be a bit unpredictable off leash. Both my dogs love her and we highly recommend her services.”

11. Ashlee S.
About: I have had dogs all of my life! I volunteered at the humane society as a foster care provider and found homes for many dogs during this time. I worked with a veterinarian for the past ten years and provided care for his dogs. I am very active and can also run with your dog if you have a high energy breed such as a husky. I will care for your dogs as if they were my own and can also groom, massage, administer medications, recommend holistic nutritional changes, and provide any additional services that your furry companion may need. I can bring your pup to obedience classes, vet visits, or grooming appointments! I will also work with dogs that have issues such as socialization issues, manner problems, or anything else we may discuss. I currently work from home, so I am able to watch the furry friends all day. They can have a private space in the home, in the yard, or join the pack. I can customize preferences to include a hike, trail run, short walks, pick-up/drop off at your pets location, light grooming, etc. In my home I have three dogs, and they can be separate or play together if preferred. i have a large fenced yard. There is also a separate studio with a kennel if needed. If visiting a clients home, I will adjust to clients preferences and instructions.

12. Rachel D.
“Rachel has watched and taken care of our dog numerous times throughout his life (5 yrs). While watching our dog she would take him on walks, hikes, and beach trips. She lives an active lifestyle and loves having a furry companion by her side. I can highly recommend her to take your dog for a walk or keep he/she company while out of town. She has always been very prompt, responsible, and reliable.”

13. Courtney S.

14. Deborah H.
“Deborah has pet sat for me several times, for multiple days at a time, and I 100% recommend her for your pet sitting needs. She is a true animal lover and a very experience pet owner, an excellent communicator, and exceptionally responsible, professional, kind and tidy. I have a very high energy 90lb, 3 year old male Rhodesian ridgeback dog who needs a ton of exercise, and an old man cat who needs medicine 2X/ day. Both of my animals adore Deb. She consistently provides them with lots of love, attention and ample exercise for the dog. I have used many, many, pet sitters and Deb is definitely a favorite. I feel incredibly confident that my pets are in good hands when Deb is watching them, allowing me to fully relax when I'm out of town. Thank you Deb!”

About: I grew up in the country with all kinds of animals. Dogs have always been my heart. From horses to hamsters - I enjoy them all. I work full time, remotely, but will work with you to create a schedule for your doggie that ensures they get the fresh air and adventure they deserve. I have 2 dogs (doodle and morkie) and they enjoy walks twice a day. I love the joy they experience exploring the mountains. I look forward to doing the same for your family members.

18. Elizabeth S.
About: With over 20 years of hands-on experience, I bring a lifetime of deep, intuitive connection with animals of all kinds — from loyal pups and curious cats to birds, bunnies, reptiles, rodents, and even frogs and insects. Animals have always been a central part of my life, not just a job. For the past three years, I’ve worked professionally as a dog walker, leading joyful, two-hour off-leash pack adventures through the forests of Truckee. These outings have sharpened my instincts, strengthened my leadership skills, and deepened my understanding of canine behavior in natural environments. I’ve cared for pets in my own home and in the homes of others, always with the same level of love, respect, and attention to detail I’d give my own. Whether your animal companion needs a peaceful visit, an energizing walk, or round-the-clock care, I’m flexible, calm under pressure, and fully committed to their comfort and happiness. What truly sets me apart is my ability to tune into the unique personality and needs of every animal — and my belief that pet care is a calling, not a gig. I work M-F mornings & have afternoons/evenings off. I have an active lifestyle and can take your pup with me for activities or make sure they have plenty of stimulation at home. I am great with directions and have experience with crating, off leash, giving medicine, and infant and senior pets. I am clean/tidy/responsible/communicative. Animals love me.
