About: I have had a soft spot in my heart for animals of all kinds since I was a child. I was raised around animals as long as I can remember and when I turned 13 my parents got me my very own puppy after years of asking for one. She was my soul dog and I had her for a wonderful 15 years. I miss having wet noses, fur and paws padding around the house so I’m looking for other pets I can love on and keep safe while their parents are busy. I know how nerve-racking it can be too leave your animal with someone else, so I will do everything in my power to calm your nerves with updates and pictures, as well as give your baby the best love and care while your away. I will treat every pet as if they were my own spoiled baby. I am a travel nurse who is taking some time off so I have nothing pulling me away from caring for your fur baby. I’d be available 24/7 to care for your pet and keep them company. I have a cute cabin surrounded by acres of forest perfect for long walks and all the sniffing your dog can do! Inside is cozy and warm with a wood burning stove perfect for napping in front of once they are tuckered out from the outdoor activities.

“My first experience with Kandace was awesome. She was able to accommodate very short notice, less than two days, for longer than a week of care. All of my fur clan warmed up to her instantly, especially the doggie. I don't have an attached yard so the dog requires two walks a day and Kandace went above and beyond with the walks. She also knew when Arti needed a break to just relax and hang out. All of the cats' litter was well kept and my place was exactly how I left it. About: I have had dogs all of my life! I volunteered at the humane society as a foster care provider and found homes for many dogs during this time. I worked with a veterinarian for the past ten years and provided care for his dogs. I am very active and can also run with your dog if you have a high energy breed such as a husky. I will care for your dogs as if they were my own and can also groom, massage, administer medications, recommend holistic nutritional changes, and provide any additional services that your furry companion may need. I can bring your pup to obedience classes, vet visits, or grooming appointments! I will also work with dogs that have issues such as socialization issues, manner problems, or anything else we may discuss. I currently work from home, so I am able to watch the furry friends all day. They can have a private space in the home, in the yard, or join the pack. I can customize preferences to include a hike, trail run, short walks, pick-up/drop off at your pets location, light grooming, etc. In my home I have three dogs, and they can be separate or play together if preferred. i have a large fenced yard. There is also a separate studio with a kennel if needed. If visiting a clients home, I will adjust to clients preferences and instructions.
