About: **I’m currently offering lower rates than I normally would in order to get my foot in the door with Rover! :) Thank you so much for supporting a Rover newbie! 💗** Hi! 🤗🐕🩷 I’m Alexus and I have been baby-sitting (pets & humans!) for over 10 years now for family, friends, neighbors, and even strangers who have simply heard good things about me from others, both in my free time as well as in professional certified Doggy Daycare businesses including Dogtown Cincinnati! People have kept me as their sitter for years because they know they can count on me to be responsible, attentive, communicative, & honest with them while their babies are in my care! 🐶🐱🐰🐹 I’m down-to-earth, calm, and will always be patient & kind to animals of any kind and will respect your home with utmost care. 🏡💕 When you are missing your babies, don’t hesitate to ask for an extra picture or video of them if you want more! I love taking cute photos of every animal I meet and will spoil them with affection. 🌅💗🐩 I will also strictly adhere to any checklist or request that you have— my mission is to give your baby the stability, love, and care that they expect in their daily routine. Whether it is sitting, boarding, walking, or basic grooming, I will provide the home away from home for them by meticulously following directions for specific exercise regimens, dietary restrictions, training (e.g. taking a puppy out to potty every 30-45 min. & rewarding with praise & treat), medication administration, etc. 🍼🧴🧸🎾💊🦮 I will NEVER, under any circumstance, use punishment or fear-instilling tactics. I am a lifelong dog-lover and a dedicated advocate of humane training & treatment of animals. I am Pet First Aid Certified and dedicated to prioritizing pet safety & comfort in order for them and their parents (you!) to be stress-free. ❤️🐾🌎 I can’t wait to meet-and-greet with you & your fur baby! 🫶🐾 I am a full-time dedicated professional pet care provider for families local to the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area. I understand what it’s like to need a last-minute booking, and I will happily take same-day requests! I am currently available 24/7 for all pet care needs. In my home, your babies will enjoy a squeaky clean, comfortable newly-remodeled living room and guest bedroom, as well as a .5-acre fenced-in backyard (will remain leashed while outside) with enriching landscape in a cozy, quiet tucked-away neighborhood. I allow doggies on the couches, but will gladly redirect any dogs away from furniture through positive reinforcement (NEVER PUNISHMENT) if you would like. In your home, I will meticulously adhere to every standard you request and proactively communicate with you regarding in-home checklists as needed.

About: Never had my childhood home had less than 5 animals. I've grown up taking care of dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, rats, mice, gerbils, bunnies, and turtles-most of those under solely my care. I've always loved caring for my animals and watching them grow. I'm currently working a very flexible schedule Monday-Friday so I will be available almost any time! With weekends, just ask! I can usually squeeze in a visit/walk no problem. We have a 3200 sq ft 2 level home with a large unfenced yard. I have one friendly 8 year old female labradoodle, one very sweet, friendly, and energetic 1 year old newfoundland mix, and another very nonchalant 5 year old male cat. I also have a 9 year old son and a 3 year old son who both love and respect animals. Our home is a very comfortable space for any kid friendly animal to enjoy. We feed 2x a day, let them out to potty at least 4x a day-I will leash if necessary.

About: Hi there! I’m a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for pets, horses, and even some exotic animals. I’ve worked and alongside veterinarian's in both small animal hospitals and equine practices — so your pets are always in safe, knowledgeable hands. Whether it’s a puppy, cat, or horse, I treat every animal as if they were my own with patience, gentleness, and attention to their needs. I’m comfortable with special care routines, medication schedules, and animals of all sizes and temperaments. Because I love working with animals and caring for them it is a stress reliever and gives me satisfaction with spending time with animals of all kinds. When I care for pets in your home, my goal is to make them feel completely comfortable and loved while keeping their normal routines consistent. I take time to learn each pet’s personality, habits, and preferences — whether that means quiet snuggles, long walks, or plenty of playtime!

About: Having years of experience caring for family pets of all shapes and sizes, I can provide your pets with the one on one time they deserve while you're away. I have provided care for a wide range of dogs, from weeks old puppies, to senior dogs getting ready to cross the rainbow bridge. My love for dogs has encouraged me to pursue a career doing what I love, playing with dogs and making their overall wellbeing my priority. I take your dogs day to day routine into account when doing any sort of activities; from how long they typically like to go for walks, to the level of interaction they like during play time. I consider every dog a friend I haven't made yet, and I love sharing that sort of relationship with every dog I meet. Being a pet parent myself, the first thing I do when I wake up in the morning and the last thing I do before bed is pet care. I understand that every animal is unique and requires personalized care. I always make sure to respect the pets personal space and I always go at the pace set by the pet. Their comfort and happiness is my top priority.

About: I have a few years of training puppies and senior care of dogs/cats under my belt. I was pre-vet in college, so I am qualified to deal with all kinds of furry (and not so furry) friends. I work from home 2-5 hours a day so I have plenty of time to hang out with my animal friends!! I workout a ton outside and would love an exercise partner. Most weekends I am either outside gardening or hanging with my own dog. Dogs- I own a doodle and am prepared with how to deal with dogs of all ages. Cats- I do not own any cats, but cat-sit my neighbors cat all the time. Lots of experience with them. All other furry friends- Since I was pre-vet, I was trained on how to deal with all kinds of animals. I have an invisible fence for my dog and I do live in a neighborhood. Most of my neighbors either don’t have dogs (so they won’t become aggressive with yours) or have pets that have crossed the rainbow bridge.

I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone, and I take that responsibility seriously. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, loved, and completely at ease while you are away. Pet care fits very naturally into my weekly routine. I work as a nanny, which gives me a structured but flexible schedule. During the school year, I often have breaks in the day while the child is at school or activities, which allows me time for drop in visits, walks, and check ins. I do not work late evenings, and my weekends are typically open, which gives me consistent availability for overnight stays and extended care. About: I have experience with both young and older pets. With puppies and kittens, I stay consistent with routines and can help reinforce basic training like potty habits, feeding schedules, and positive behavior. For senior pets, I’m gentle and attentive to their needs, whether that means giving medication, moving at a slower pace, or just providing extra comfort and companionship. I also make sure pet owners feel at ease by keeping communication open—I can send updates, photos, and check-ins so you always know how your pet is doing. My goal is to create a stress-free experience for both you and your pet. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I plan my schedule around the pets I’m caring for. I make time for walks, feeding, playtime, and check-ins throughout the day, and I’m consistent with routines so pets feel comfortable and secure. About: i am a reliable and trustworthy individual who will provide exceptional care and attention to your pets when you’re away. i’ve taken care of dogs since i was little and have always loved them. As each year has passed, i’ve taken care of more dogs along with other pets like guinea pigs, birds, fish and cats. i’m capable of taking care of senior dogs and ones with special needs. I know what it’s like to care for an old dog that struggles with certain things. they would still get the exact same amount of attention as any other dog would. i’m very compassionate when it comes to animals. your pets needs are first priority. they’re happiness is what matters most. any pet of yours will be loved on, cuddled and cared for with me looking after them i don’t have a job but i’m still quite busy helping my family out during the week with therapy/doctor appointments. my brother is handicapped and so he has to go to therapy a few days a week all the way up in cincinnati which takes half a day. im also helping homeschool my younger brothers during the week. in my opinion i know the weekends would work the best bc I’m usually not doing anything which means that i could have my full attention on your pet(s). however we could always talk in advance about the schedule and i could make take time during the week work if needed They’ll have my full attention. I will always play with them to get them to exercise and have some fun. I can also take them on walks and runs and take them out for potty breaks. if they need to be fed at a certain time or need any type of medicine then that is very important to know in advance. Also knowing if they get along with other people/pets. we don’t want anything bad happening so knowing anything and everything about your pet(s) in advance is highly recommended.

Angela is a lifesaver! I have been working extra at the hospital every weekend due to Covid and her coming to walk my dog every morning that I work has been priceless. Her positive, upbeat and energetic attitude is just what my 8 month old Labrador needs after being in the house all night. And with my hurt back, just what I need after a 12 hour shift on my feet. I haven't used Angela for other services yet other than dog walking, but when I need them, she'll be the first one I ask. She is punctual, responsible, considerate, full of energy and always puts a smile on my Sochi's face!

  • 97% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 99% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 99% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
