“Very friendly and super responsive. Sends an update at with pictures at the end of the day about how well the dogs did. Let me know right away if ran into any issues or questions. I would definitely rebook with her again! 😊”

“Janet is very helpful!! We had a couple of last minute times when we needed someone to come by for a feeding & potty break and she jumped right in. Also made a point to meet Bosun in advance so that she was prepared for when these sort of things to pop up.”

“Korah was fantastic with our dog, RuPaw! She was able to meet a last minute request expertly. She was sweet and patient with our dog and made sure she felt comfortable in a new surrounding without her owners. Would 100% Korah for dog sitting, walks, etc!”

“I was so nervous hiring a dog sitter but our usual family sitters were unavailable for our vacation. Adrian assured me that the dogs would be okay and gave our pups the time and space they needed to feel comfortable with a new sitter. She texted me updates frequently while we were away. It was so nice not having to worry about our animals while we were on our family vacation. She did an excellent job with our senior dog with special needs and a nervous Aussie. The icing on the cake was coming home to a clean house after a long day of travel back home. We will definitely book Adrian again if we need a sitter!”

“Taryn did a great job watching Ari who has separation anxiety and can’t be left alone. The event I was at ran past the expected time and she stayed with him past when I was supposed to get back which helped immensely. Ari enjoyed her company and kept calm while I was out.”

About: Hi! I'm a dependable animal lover who enjoys spending time with dogs of all sizes and personalities. I grew up around dogs, including a reactive German Shepherd, and I've also helped care for both small and large dogs in my family, so I'm comfortable with a variety of temperaments and energy levels. I'm especially good at reading dog body language and making sure dogs feel safe and understood. Whether it's going for walks, playing, or helping a dog burn off energy in a positive way, I focus on keeping things calm, structured, and fun. I'm patient, attentive, and reliable, and I always treat every dog like they're my own. My goal is to make sure your pet feels comfortable, cared for, and happy while you're away. I am a college student so after 3pm on Monday's, Wednesdays, and Thursdays I am available for any of the services needed. This way I can board on the weekends for sure. I have an unfenced yard with a puppy that loves to play. I have a crate available for most dogs. I have a 100ft long leash so you don’t have to worry about your pet.
“Brittney was amazing! Unfortunately, our senior dog fell very ill during our vacation. Brittney did a good job of communicating with us and keeping our dog comfortable until we could have family members come to our home to help. Thank you Brittney.”
“Paola took such great care of Nala! I also really appreciated that she helped extra by offering to still help with my pup even if she went in heat which happened on the last day of her sit. Very unexpected but Paola was still a trooper on short notice. This is our second time booking with her and will definitely book again! Thanks Paola you are a rockstar!”

“Christine did a wonderful job house sitting with our Poodles & Yorkies - & horses!!! She sent frequent pictures of everyone lounging on her lap or playing around the house! “Amazing experience and service! Emma watched my high energy pup while I was out of town. She took perfect care of him, making sure he had a ton of exercise each day. I also really appreciated Emma’s constant and detailed check ins. Would absolutely book again!”

About: My mom had rescue dogs and cats my entire childhood, and I always helped care for them as her oldest daughter. My mom adopted dogs big and small - as big as a golden retriever, and as little as a chihuahua, and often cared for multiple cats at a time. I grew up in California, where my family pets live with my parents - three dogs and two cats. My cat Momo moved to Eau Claire with me. My parents are planning to retire here, which will be a big move, especially with so many animals, so when the time comes, I’ll be helping move their pets. After living in Eau Claire for a month or so, I house and pet sat for my cousin while she was working on a project out of town for a few months. I bonded with her German Shepherd, Lobo, through long walks and runs, and fell in love with her tiny cat Duchess. Later that winter, while I was still doing the long-term pet sit for my cousin, one of her friend’s rescued a cat who had been abandoned. Due to her living situation, she couldn’t take it in immediately, so Lobo and Duchess had Zia as a guest living with us for a month or so. Beyond helping out my family, I have friends whose animals I help care for on occasion too. One friend reaches out when she needs to go out of town, and I will do check ups or come stay with her needy and sweet cat-named-Kitty. Another friend and I meet up to walk downtown with her cutie little dog Lotta. I record all my walks and runs on Strava, and enjoy posting photos and videos of my furry companions, so if I walk with your pup, I would be happy to share photos if you ask! Last summer, I looked after my co-worker’s chickens and garden for a 3-day weekend, so I’m open to learning how to care for other pets beyond cats and dogs too! I work part-time at the flower shop and my schedule varies week to week based on their need, but I have lots of free time between weekdays and the weekend - I always have a free Sunday. I can easily arrange my schedule to allow for plenty of time between walks, play time, or check ups with animals. I will be brand new to Rover and open to meeting pets’ needs and routines as their human typically would! Right now, beyond my cat Momo, the only other animals I care for are my cousin’s dog and cat when she’s traveling and needs me to fill in, and I care for them as she would - from feeding routines to play time, walks, and cleaning.
About: I have taken care of dogs for my friends for many years, as well as having dogs for most of my life. I have experience with dogs of all ages. I have experience in medication dispensing. Senior care experience. I work from my home so I am available to give meals and potty breaks continuously throughout the day. I have a very flexible schedule. For drop in visiting and walks, I am available Monday to Thursday 1pm to 7pm. Friday after 5pm. Saturday and Sunday 24 hour availability. My back yard is fenced in.I will not sit pitbulls or other aggressive breeds. On days where the temp is hot, I will take dogs out once an hour for just 10 minutes to avoid heat related illness. Also on hot days, water bowls will be in each room that a dog chooses to be in. During the winter I have pee pads outside for the comfort and safety of a dog's feet.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Chippewa Falls walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Chippewa Falls maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Chippewa Falls choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Chippewa Falls. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
