“Molly was able to drop everything after a panicked call from me when a sitter fell through last minute. She went over as quickly as able and took Anna out several times during the drop-in. We were lucky to find her!”

“We recently moved to Eau Claire and we don’t have many friends or family in the area yet and we decided to try out Rover. We found Korah and decided to give it a try. She almost immediately responded to being able to watch Bentley and she was more than willing to come meet in person before she was going to check in on him later. She made us feel very comfortable leaving Bentley with her. I 100% recommend her and we will definitely book with her again in the future. Thank you Korah for taking care of our baby Bentley ❤️”

About: I’ve taken care of a wide range of pets. From cats, dogs, birds, rodents and farm animals. I am also able to take care of animals with higher needs. I’ve had elderly pets who need medication and animals that I have found with injuries that I took care of. Right now I am working part time, 1-7 I am unavailable but I am able to come in anytime outside of that. My weekends are open, I am rarely out of town. I know how important routines are so sticking to what is requested is essential. Animals that need to be kept separate is also an important thing to know.
“Victoria has been my best cat sitter by far. I used her for drop-in visits and she kept me well informed on how Rascal was doing and his catitude for that day. She let me know the one day she found some puke and watched him the rest of the week for any new occurrences and let me know that his litter box looked normal on his sickish day as well. I'm hoping she's available for any future vacations I take as she will be my go-to catsitter.”

“Kessia did a wonderful job stopping in at our house and letting Holly out and feeding her. She also let my granddaughter’s dog out and fed him. Kessia did a great job even though she hadn’t met Clyde before. I would definitely use her again.”

About: I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life! I’ve also had a few friends and family rely on me to let their pups outside, go for walks, or just have a little hangout time while their owners are away :) I do not currently have any pets of my own and I recently moved out of my parents home, but I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life! I care for every pet with intention, patience, and attention to their individual needs. I understand that every animal has their own personality, routine, comfort level, and preferences, so I take the time to learn what makes each pet feel safe, and cared for. Whether that means sticking closely to feeding and exercise schedules, providing extra playtime and enrichment, or offering gentle companionship, I tailor my care to each pet's unique needs. My goal is to create a positive, stress-free experience for both pets and their owners, treating every animal as if they were my own.
About: I have always taken care of many different types of pets in my home. I have helped with senior dogs who need medicine or insulin shots. I have also fostered and have experience with all types of animals, such as; a full litter of kittens, bunnies, and dogs of all sizes. I work until 4pm every day and have random weekdays off and I always have Sundays off. I am very flexible and can adapt to your schedules needs. I have a fenced in backyard and have lots of friendly animals. They also all have their own specific areas if they need to be quarantined for any reason. I can also read animals body languages for when they may need some space or more direct attention.
“Our family highly recommends Emma! She did really well and beyond our expectations with our big dogs. She responds very quickly and sends updates during the day. Which were really important for us. We felt really at ease knowing that she was the one watching our dogs and staying at our house. We actually booked her for another sitting schedule! :)”
About: I have been taking care of animals since I was a kid. Whether that was our family pets, random stray cats, family/friend’s/neighbor’s cats & dogs, or lost or dumped pets, I was always the one to help. I have taken care of dogs ranging from Schnauzers, Beagles, Australian Shepards, to King German Shepards, including senior dogs as well. Two years ago I also adopted my dog, Eugene, who is a mix of Australian Shepard, Cattle Dog, Border Collie, & Collie. Being those breeds he is a very high energy guy so I am constantly taking him on walks, hikes, swims, and working on training him on the agility course. Adopting him has given me a lot more insight on the different ways dogs express themselves and how to work with them based on their own personalities and triggers. Not only have I taken care of various dogs and cats, I have also cared for fish, crabs, geckos, a ferret, hamsters, and even sea turtles! I am currently taking a break from my job to focus on my health so I will have availability most days. If there are any days that show unavailable that you need pet care just send me a message and I will see what I can do :) I have always treated every animal as if it were my own, following the exact care instructions, and ensuring they are happy and well taken care of. Having a dog myself I know how much they mean to you so it is my goal to treat them with the utmost care and love.
About: I think dogs really enjoy me and have a lot of fun when I’m around them. I am a very passionate organized person that loves dogs! I go on daily walks and can bring dogs on them! Over the weekend I typically have a flexible schedule and can visits dogs frequently! My attention is on the dog while I am with them. I make sure everything is on the check list is done and then some.
“Carissa was awesome. I loved the pictures she took of my babies when we were gone and she made sure they got what they needed and treated them as her own. Thank you , thank you!!”

About: I have cared for dogs and cats for most of my life and grew up in a home where animals were always part of the family. Throughout my childhood, we always had both a dog and a cat, which gave me the opportunity to understand and support pets through all stages of their lives. Being raised around animals has brought me so much joy, and I truly love spending time with them, whether that’s playing, going for walks, or simply giving them attention and affection. In addition, I have three years of experience walking dogs, which has helped me develop patience, responsibility, and a strong understanding of different temperaments and needs. If you choose me to care for your pet, I promise to treat them with the same love and attention I would give my own, and to care for them to the very best of my abilities. I'm currently a student and work a part-time job; however, I usually have 2-hour gaps in my day. This is to accommodate time to take your pet out to potty, go for walks, or just have some playtime. Then after 3 pm I am free during the evenings. I’m unable to host pets in my own home; however, I will treat your home with the utmost respect and ensure your pet receives the same love, care, and attention I would give my own.
“If I could, I would give more than 5 stars. Natallia was such a delight to work with. Her knowledge and experience were the reason I chose her to watch Pudge and Gracie. Natallia requested a meet n greet so everyone would be comfortable from the get go. Pudge and Gracie loved her and I was 100% comfortable leaving my puppers in her hands, which says a lot because this was my first time away from them! We received regular updates and great pictures. Natallia did a great job and knowing she was looking after Pudge and Gracie allowed us to have a fun Memorial Day weekend trip away.”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Chippewa Falls
Molly was an amazing cat sitter! She kept me updated with lots of photos and messages during every visit, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Before I left, I let her know that one of my cats wasn’t feeling well, and she made sure to keep a close eye on him and update me on how he was doing. I really appreciated how caring, attentive, and communicative she was. I felt completely comfortable knowing they were in such good hands.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
