About: Hi there! My name is Michelle and Ive been a pet owner since I was a child. My family always had dogs, cats, pocket pets, and the occasional tarantula. Im the niece of a large animal veterinarian whose clinic I volunteered at after school and summers. Currently my husband and I are owned by a Labrador Retriever and an English Setter. We are active with a national English Setter rescue, which is where our beautiful boy came from, and run volunteer transports of dogs on their way to foster or forever homes. Im semi-retired! My routine is whatever it needs to be from day to day. Im a firm believer in being flexible to meet the situation's needs. Your pets would never be alone. We also have 2 friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company and walks, along with outdoor play would help with mental stimulation.

About: I grew up with taking care of multiple family dogs. As an adult, I have dog-sat and cat-sat for multiple family members. Although I currently do not have any pets of my own, I would love to help you care for your own! I am a kindergarten teacher, so I am usually gone Monday-Friday 6:30am-5:00pm. Weekend availability will just depend on the weekend! I am certainly willing to be flexible, because I just absolutely love animals! I have an open back yard that I share with other neighbors. I am able to make your personal adjustments to make sure your pet has a safe and comfortable environment.

About: Hi! I’m a big animal lover who enjoys spending time with dogs, cats, and any other pets! I’m happy to match your pet’s energy and routine. My family has always had pets growing up, and I’m always the one seeking out the pets at any gathering. I love earning their trust, making them feel comfortable, and making a new furry friend. While I don’t have any pets of my own right now, I absolutely adore all of my family’s pets whenever I get to see them or care for them! I work as a barista during the days, typically a 6 hour shift sometime in the morning or during the day. Whenever I am not on shift I will be able to care for your pets! My schedule varies occasionally so if you aren’t sure if a day will work, please reach out! When caring for pets, I focus on making sure they are happy, comfortable, and feel loved. I take the time to learn about each pet so I can match their energy and routine. About: I've had many dogs of my own so I'm quite personal & I'm always excited to make new animal friends. Having many animals of my own I think sets me aside from others, I love to play and run around with dogs. I also can and will care for other pets or animals if it is necessary, which I also think sets me apart. I'm an athlete too so long walks & everything are not a problem, I enjoy walking and nature so going on walks would be wonderful. I like animal of all sizes. Also by having pets of my own, I understand a lot about dogs and how to care for multiple. I can do more than just play & walk them, I can bathe them & brush & most other hygiene needs.

About: Most of my friends call me an animal whisperer. I love pets and always have. Born and raised on a farm, animals are not new to me. I am pretty well versed in loving animals, as well as caring for animals as they deserve. I am currently home full-time, loving on my own 50 lb. Aussiedoodle, Hans. Hans and I would love to offer our spare time in support of your pet needs. I also am a guinea pig mom to 9 special guinea pigs! Animals are the way to my heart, and I can always make time for one more. Although it doesn't specify caged animals, like guinea pigs, I am happy to pet sit, board, or help with daily care of your caged pets. I do not currently have a fenced yard, but I live on open acres set apart from any close neighbors. Leashes can be used outside of the home to provide ultimate safety and security for your pet. I am always available to answer any questions or concerns you may have.

About: They say to do what you love and make a career out of it. I’m just grateful my career gets to be with dogs. I currently work at a doggy daycare/boarding facility in the area, so I am certified with dog and cat behaviors and have seen the ups and downs of our fur babies, and I am still standing here happy to tell you all about their stay/session. I have also grown up with working farm dogs and have gone on to own a Great Pyrenees who isn’t quite a working dog but sure does “work” like one. Thank you for reading through my short history and I am super excited to update this with my accomplishments to come! Pet care for me starts at dawn lol My pups come for cuddles and a potty break first sight of my eyes opening. Most of the time this does align with my work schedule in the 6 am timeframe. I do work part time and in those morning shifts end roughly at 12-3 however my partner is typically home before me to let the pups outside. While I personally do not have a yard, my family does own large pasture fields and hills that we will typically walk daily. These colder seasons do affect how often we go out due to the snow and unplowed hills. However in that safe weather we make it a main priority to keep active with our pups to maintain a healthy and long life for them. Safety is priority number one. Thankfully my family is pretty much set up for success here. We are knowledgeable for food, behavior, and play safety with dogs and cats. Signs and symptoms of common issues with dogs and cats, based off personal experiences, and possible fears of what ifs, urinary cat blockages and bloat, or bloody stools. And while I understand dog body language and know how to avoid those tense situations dogs can create, I am incredibly quick to say when we are going to the emergency vet, gosh forbid.

About: At any point growing up, we never had less than two dogs, one cat, and one bird (Umbrella Cockatoos). My mother has volunteered at local animal shelters for years while continuing to do so today. Her genuine passion for caring for animals was passed onto my siblings and I from the moment we came home as newborns. Whether it was raising puppies/kittens, or behavior training with rescue pets, I've been around home pet care from a very young age. I've absorbed and learned more independently as I came to having pets of my own. I also worked as a Dog Groomer for a short (but busy) time in college. Over the years, I've cared for puppies/kittens, senior pets, and pets of all different behaviors. My wife and I currently have three cats and one dog at our home, so I'm actively involved in everyday pet care. I work full time Monday through Friday from 8am - 4:30pm in Eau Claire, so I'm available on the weekends or for afternoon and weeknight visits. I prioritize your pets' needs by maintaining constant attention. I'm not using the time during the visit to play on my phone. Rest assured that your pet is being watched by an experienced person who will not only keep your precious fur baby safe but will make sure it's an enjoyable visit every time.

About: "I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of every kind since I was 15. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed them and play with them. I am a physical education teacher that has the summers off and is looking to take care of your pet while you are ate work or on vacation. I enjoy getting your pet the exercise it needs and help them be comfortable around other people. I am a dog sitter/dog walker that puts safety as a priority when taking care of your pet. I always move a cross the street if I see another dog coming towards me if your pet is not good with other dogs. I always watch for cars when I am cross the street to keep your help safe.

About: While I’m relatively new to Rover, I have been a pet owner for cumulatively over 5 years of both dogs and cats. I currently have a 1.5 year old dachshund girl named Sage, a 14 year old senior dachshund named Buddy, and a 1 year old German Shorthair Pointer named Fin. As a dog owner, I understand what it’s like to put your trust in someone else’s hands to take care of your fur baby. It’s a big deal, and I’d like to step in to ease those feelings and let you know your pet is in the hands of a genuine, gentle, patient, and kind pet sitter. I work remotely full time with a flex schedule, so I have a ton of flexibility throughout the day. I am fortunate to work for a non-profit that believes in a healthy work-life balance.
