We were of course a little apprehensive but Janet made us and the boys secure right from the start. We had an initial meeting that went very well and the 10 night stay went even better. Janet was tasked with taking care of our dog Duffy who is an epileptic and who had seizures and a vet visit on the day that we were leaving. She made us feel very relieved that the orders from the vet would be carried out...they were. She also took excellent care of the house. She was terrific at keeping us updated during our trip with many pictures and news from home. We could not have been any happier with her stay. The only problem is that someone who does such a good job is in high demand and unfortunately (for us) she is already booked during a time period when we again need a sitter. About: I’ve taken care of a wide range of pets. From cats, dogs, birds, rodents and farm animals. I am also able to take care of animals with higher needs. I’ve had elderly pets who need medication and animals that I have found with injuries that I took care of. I am available all week and I occasionally visit my parents on the weekend. Other than that I do not leave town often, if I do ever have a trip planned I would update my schedule. I know how important routines are so sticking to what is requested is essential. Animals that need to be kept separate is also an important thing to know.

About: I worked as a canine coach for 4 years and have experience caring for multiple animals at once, I also have in-home boarding stays/care experience! I am a Personal Trainer outside of Rover so my days are extremely flexible and open for care (my sessions are only an hour long). About: They say to do what you love and make a career out of it. I’m just grateful my career gets to be with dogs. I currently work at a doggy daycare/boarding facility in the area, so I am certified with dog and cat behaviors and have seen the ups and downs of our fur babies, and I am still standing here happy to tell you all about their stay/session. I have also grown up with working farm dogs and have gone on to own a Great Pyrenees who isn’t quite a working dog but sure does “work” like one. Pet care for me starts at dawn lol My pups come for cuddles and a potty break first sight of my eyes opening. Most of the time this does align with my schedule in the 6 am timeframe. Our family does always thankfully have one person home at all times, so while kennels are still utilized in our home for various situations, your pups can expect to stay in a home environment while here :) While I personally do not have a yard, my family does own large pasture fields and hills that we will typically walk daily. These colder seasons do affect how often we go out due to the snow and unplowed hills. However in that safe weather we make it a main priority to keep active with our pups to maintain a healthy and long life for them. Safety is priority number one. Thankfully my family is pretty much set up for success here. We are knowledgeable for food, behavior, and play safety with dogs and cats. Signs and symptoms of common issues with dogs and cats, based off personal experiences, and possible fears of what ifs, urinary cat blockages and bloat, or bloody stools. And while I understand dog body language and know how to avoid those tense situations dogs can create, I am incredibly quick to say when we are going to the emergency vet, gosh forbid.

About: I’ve had pets (dogs and cats) for my whole life. I often took care of neighbors animals when they would go out of town and always enjoyed it! Can’t wait to walk some dogs and cuddle some cats I am working part time and only work a few hours a week so I will have plenty of time to walk dogs or take care of animals! I have experience providing reliable and attentive dog sitting services for a variety of breeds. Rest easy that your furbaby will be loved on and cared for as if he/she were my own. I currently work full time and am gone 8-9 hours a day Monday through Friday but weekends are for relaxing. If weekday care is needed I am available and can arrange for a mid-day potty break. But the weekends are all about your pet. Walks, parks, car rides (for those who love them), catch, fetch and snuggles. I do not have a fenced yard so require adequate leash/collar for walks and potty breaks. My neighborhood is very friendly and safe and I live one mile from a State Park for more open space if your pet is good off leash. There are no children in my home. It is one level with a basement that can be closed off. I do not mind pups in my bed or on my furniture- as long as they are pest free and clean.
