Mara is dog aggressive and dismissive of people and very slow to build trust. Yushonda would not settle for good enough or merely being present in the house. She strived and worked hard to build that trust, working with Mara, making her presence known, and building trust at Mara's pace. I was shocked to hear Mara got comfortable enough to jump right in bed on the first night. I had expected at the end of the stay for our dog to maybe allow pets, instead she made a great new friend by the first day and asked for belly rubs, something she only does for 3 people. About: I grew up with having pets my entire life . Not only caring for my own pets but growing up in a big family we are always willing to take care of each others. I have some experience with training dogs during my time in the service. I currently work from home so I’m very flexible with how my day to day looks I finish my work day at 5 and free on the weekends. I have a large back yard partially fenced in. With one very well behaved golden lab to keep others company. We love playing fetch and enjoying the outside as much as possible.

I enjoy being active and spending time with animals, so fitting pet care into my weekly routine feels rewarding rather than stressful. I make sure pets are comfortable, safe, and cared for by following their normal routine as closely as possible. In my home or a client’s home, I focus on feeding schedules, fresh water, walks, playtime, cleaning up after them, and giving them attention and companionship. I also pay close attention to their behavior and comfort level to make sure they’re happy and stress-free. If the owner has specific instructions, I always follow them carefully to make sure their pet receives the best care possible.

About: I have been around animals my entire life. I grew up on a farm with two dogs as a child and have had many different-sized animals since. Im currently laid off work while recovering from a shoulder surgery so I have open availability and my shoulder is healed so I have no restrictions on walks or animal size I own a fenced-in lot next to my house for outside time. I have one super friendly dog who loves it out there and a room with a door so I don't have to use a crate inside.

About: I have taken care of pets my entire life from guinea pigs to elderly dogs. I am a graduate from the University of Michigan and am studying at Tufts for the next two years. I dog sat after school for a while and took care of puppies, elderly pets, and bunnies. I have plenty of time to take care of your pets! I am busy on Wednesdays, but my weekends and others days of the week are much more flexible. Afternoons are always best but I can make things work! I cannot provide pet care in my home, but I can come to you! I have experience helping older dogs, active, large dogs, giving dogs and cats medication, trimming claws, and going on runs or walks.
