They aren’t bad but because they have traumatic pasts they are fearful of strangers. We truly felt like we had a friend watching them with Max. He was compassionate and so patient with them. They barked at him for over an hour after we left but he continued to try to win them over and he did! He was able to walk them and he even hand fed Parker because he won’t eat without being hand fed sometimes. We will be able to go out of town now that we met Max. He communicated so well and sent so many pictures. Our hearts melted when we saw him holding our most difficult dog, Parker. Thanks Max!”

Growing up with animals, especially dogs, has taught how to be a patient and caring person. I’ve built a relationship with my own dog off of trust and want to do the same while caring for your pupper! I’m a focused and detail oriented person and will work to ensure all your specific needs are met. Currently I’m working part time, so I have a flexible and pretty open schedule to take care of your pets. I’m also good with last minute changes and can easily switch around my schedule for what works best for you! I live in a small town with plenty of areas to walk dogs and I also have a fenced in back yard. I have one dog and two cats that do well around other animals, as well as a trustworthy vehicle to take me to your location.

About: I have worked with animals in a variety of fields; I have worked in a pet store, at a grooming salon, volunteering at animal control, volunteering with large animals at a rescue barn, volunteering at a wildlife rehab center, and I have spent two years working at vet clinics as a veterinary assistant and receptionist. At my last clinic, we worked with a cat rescue based out of Toronto, Ontario and I got lots of hands on experience with spicy kitties. I have hundreds of hours of experience interacting with sick, elderly, and anxious animals. My years of experience in veterinary hospitals also gives me a cool head in chaotic situations and it helps me recognize many potential health concerns with your pet before the average care giver might. I am currently working part time and going to school part, so I am not always able to book things weeks in advance. However, it does give me flexibility with last minute bookings because my schedule changes week to week. My base rate for overnight dog sitting includes me being present at your home from 10:00 pm until 8:00 am the following morning and drop in visits every 2-5 hours, depending on your needs. I am not able to stay at your home the entire 24 hours, but your pet will be well looked after if this is the approach that works for you. Message me if you have any specific questions! Exceptions can be made. My approach to animal care is pretty simple: transparent and honest communication. I have spent enough time with all types of animals, with quite a broad spectrum of temperaments, to know that not every animal interaction will be the same. That’s why I’m gonna rely on you, the pet parent, to tell me the ins and outs of making your pet happy. Together, we can formulate the best approach to allow all parties involved to stay sane and safe. I am dedicated to molding my approach to your pet based off of your feedback after every interaction and what your pet communicates to me. I hope to always evolve my pet care standards so I can continually surpass your expectations and deliver the best care I possibly can.

About: Since I was a kid I have always been the person people contact to pet sit for them. I am now 32 years old and still have neighbors and friends who will ask me to either come over a few times a day to let their pups out or if they’re going to be out of town I will gladly stay with the dogs so the owners have comfort when they’re traveling! I work full time at a credit union but have a lot of flexibility. If I’m needed for just letting dogs out during lunch I can always go there on lunch, and I normally am out by 5 or earlier so if I was needed for dinner time I would be available then too! I have a chihuahua schipperke! He is a spunky energetic 8 year old who loves to play. If I am caring for an older dog or one who doesn’t like the company of another dog I do have parents who are always willing to keep my dog because he gets along well with theirs.

About: I have always had pets while growing up and have a lot of experience with them, as well as basic training. I have experience with dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, and reptiles. I work a very flexible job, and I am home for the most part, so I can come and go as needed throughout the day. I have 3 dogs who are very friendly and trained well with other dogs. We take lots of trips to walking trails and to dog parks.

About: I’ve been a pet owner my whole life, but I started caring for other people’s pets back in high school. It started off as a way to make extra cash and has turned into a way for me to help people and still get some furry friend attention. I consider myself to be fairly active so I do enjoy walking with the furry friends too! I don’t have a set schedule yet that I plan to tend to, but I do intend on making myself available as much as possible. I work every Tuesday and Thursday without question, and every other weekend. When I am not at work, I would like to make myself available for walks or watches! I personally do not tend to watch pets in my own home as I have 3 cats who do not play the best with others. I do have a reliable form of transportation and the utmost respect for other people’s dogs and homes. If I were to be granted the ability to care for your animals from the comfort of their own home, it usually is a win-win :)

About: I have extensive experience caring for dogs of various ages and temperaments. I currently have two dogs of my own—a 3-year-old and an 8-year-old—both of whom I’ve raised from a young age. One of my dogs is an indoor companion, while the other is a well-trained outdoor dog. I have a set schedule and work three days a week which leaves me time to spend with your fur babies. I work every Tuesday, and every other Wednesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday. At times, I will have 5 days off in a row. I have time on my days off to stay home with them and spend as much time as possible. I provide exceptional care for animals in a comfortable, home-like environment. In my home, I ensure that all their needs are met, including medication administration, playtime, and baths upon request. I offer a variety of toys and treats to keep them engaged and happy. Additionally, I have a dedicated, remodeled dog room equipped with everything a dog could need for a safe and enjoyable stay.
