About: I have taken care of dogs and all kinds of pets since I was a child, for friends and family! I currently am only pet sitting/dog walking so I have plenty of time for drop-ins and dogs walk to keep your pets happy and healthy. I have a fenced in yard with lots of room to play your pets, as for in your own home I can play fetch in back yards as well as take your dogs on walks!
“Amanda is amazing! She asked all the right questions when she met my fur babies and immediately I was out at ease. She is a fantastic communicator and send pics! I really felt like my animals were truly cared for while I was away!”

About: I will love your pets like they were my own! I have always had animals from multiple sized dogs, to cats, to hamsters and birds. My friends regularly reach out to have their pets stay with me while they are on vacation. I have always had animals and actually purchased my home for the fenced in yard so they could be free and play! I catch up with all the dogs in the neighborhood as they walk by. I know all the dogs names, it’s the peoples names I struggle with. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of room for your fur baby to run & play. I have always had multiple dogs and a cat and miss them every day.
“Kaylyn took wonderful care of our two Yorkies, Sasha and Malia, while we were away on a short vacation. She was professional, punctual, and very easy to work with. The girls absolutely loved her, and we had complete peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. We will definitely be booking Kaylyn again!”

About: I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and volunteering over the years. I always find a way to work around my schedule no matter the situation. I like to make animals a priority at all times if possible. I like to spend time with the pets if their parents are gone for a long period of time. I think it helps with their anxiety and sadness of them being gone.
About: I've had pets my entire life, from rabbits, guinea pigs, fish, dogs and so many more. Family, friends, neighbors & those who have found out about me through word of mouth have relied on me to walk, feed, clean-up after & bathe their pets ranging from cats, dogs, fish, rats, goats, horses & even tortoises. I’m currently available for morning walks and afternoon and evening drop-ins during week days. After May 22, my schedule opens up for the summer months. My main priority is to keep your furry friends comfortable and safe. For walks & drop-ins, dogs do not need to be child friendly, though this may enable me to be more flexible with the timing of a service.
About: I have had pets my whole life. I currently have a 7 year old German Shepherd and 4 year old black lab mix. I love all animals and spending time with them. I have experience with taking care of diabetic cats who received insulin twice a day. I work full time from home so I have flexibility throughout the day. I am about to become an empty nester now that my youngest will be heading off to college in August. I’ve found that I have a lot of free time. I am available to come to your house as often as needed to care for your fur babies. I can take your dog for walks or just snuggle with your cat, whatever is needed.
“Caterina was great! She dropped in our cats for during a long European vacation and the pictures and updates she sent gave us peace of mind that they were being well taken care of.”

About: I’ve taken care of many pets! From dog to tarantula I’ve had them all. I’ve handled the stubborn breeds like bull terrier to the loving breed like Labradors. I’ve raised multiple kitten litters and helped them get adopted out and took in many strays. I treat every animal as my own. Im available every week day after 8am! If im needed earlier I can make it work as well. My schedule may be more open soon depending on jobs. Pet care come first for me so no need to worry about anything preventing me from that. I can easily crate your dog if needed and have a fenced in dog park. I do live in an apartment complex so room isn’t as spacious as a house.
“Caryn was fantastic! Communication was great, she was very friendly and sent great updates and pictures when she stopped to check on our kitties. We will absolutely book her again!”

About: What sets me apart is a lifetime of hands-on experience, a deep love for animals, and a calm, reliable approach to care. I’m 31 years old and have spent my entire life around dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, and personalities. Whether it’s caring for energetic puppies, giving gentle attention to senior pets, or just understanding each pet’s unique needs, I treat every animal like my own—with patience, affection, and respect. I’m confident in administering basic medications, recognizing pet body language, and keeping animals safe, comfortable, and happy in any environment. I work full-time from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, but I’m available for pet sitting on weekends and for walks or drop-in visits after 5pm on weekdays. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine—I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and make it a priority to give them the attention, activity, and affection they need when I’m with them. I have been to countless behavior and training classes with my own dogs so I am prepared for whatever your dog throws at me! I am currently a full-time student with flexible hours! I am available most weekday afternoons as well as all-day Sundays. Saturdays vary on a week-to-week basis. I am a huge fan of in-home care for pets as it allows them to stay in an environment that is familiar to them. Whenever I dogsit, I always make sure to interact and play with them as much as possible to keep them happy and relaxed!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
