“Sara came early to the appointment to meet my animals and get to know them. She was kind, easy to work with and touch extra special loving care to my 20 year old grumpy cat! Snacks was happy to have the love, pets and attention and looked so much better after Sara cleaned up with pet wash wipes and brushed her out. About: I've had pets all of my life. I've been around cats since I was born, had dogs since I was 9, and went to school for animal science (Cal Poly SLO) and to become a vet tech. I've had a handful of pet care jobs, mostly doggy daycare and professional pet bathing, where I worked with dogs great and small (and every size in between). I've helped take care of dogs while they were boarding at the daycare by cleaning their rooms, making sure they always had water and a cozy bed, and feeding them according to their parent's instructions (as well as play with them and take them on walks). With schooling I became skilled at administering medications, doing bandages, and I am confident with my CPR skills. I am comfortable with all breeds and most temperaments (as long as they're not people aggressive, that's fine!). Whether your senior dog needs some assistance with pottying or your puppy needs an extra run when you're at work, I'm happy to provide my services. Between the hours of 6am and 10pm I am open to stop by and check in on your pet or take them on a nice long tiring walk. While I do not sit for pets at my house I would care for clients pets like they're my own. I would follow the rules given to me down to a T, your pet will always be safe in my hands.

“Adriana was great! She took great care of our cats and updated me with pictures every visit. She was so kind and caring to our cats. Even though one of our cats is very skittish and hid from her the entire time, Adriana still gave us the best updates she possibly could. We would definitely rebook with Adriana in the future.”

“Audra has now taken great care of my furry friend three times. I feel enormously grateful to have found such a reliable pet lover to fill in for me when I need a getaway.”

About: I’ve taken care of my own pets for 10+ years and have pet sat multiple times for neighbors. I have taken care of pets of all ages! I am currently unemployed for the summer and have tons of free time to care for your pets! I am available to housesit most if not all days of the week. I have a fenced in yard and one very friendly golden retriever to keep your pups company! I also own cats that can be put away if necessary. I am also able to crate animals if needed!

About: Whether your pet is a couch potato or a trail runner, I have the energy for both! I am available for all your pet care needs, whether walking, drop in visits, taking for vet appointments or to the groomers, bathing, or pet sitting. I've had extraordinary relationships with all of my pets. They are my children. I've had a cats and a dog, and they all lived long, healthy, happy, active lives. I have experience walking both cats and dogs, giving baths, going for adventures in the car, administering oral medications. My beagle shepherd mix was the love of my life. I got him at 8 weeks old and we quickly became inseperable. He went everywhere with me; to Woodward Park to walk with other dog friends, pet stores, hardware stores, the mountains, the ocean, so many places, so many adventures. We camped and hiked hundreds of miles throughout his 12 years with me. I just lost him to cancer and it broke my heart completely. Since he has been gone, I have been house sitting for friends when they go on week long vacations. I want to give your pets the love and care I have always given mine. AvaiIibility: I am completely available on Saturdays and Sundays. During the week, I work 6:30am-3:30pm; so I am available anytime before or after work. If you pet requires a drop in visit midday, I can run by on my lunch break at noon. Your pets safety is most important to me. Each pet wil have customized care based on the pets needs. I will schedule a meet and greet with every client to meet your pets and go over all your pets needs.

“Farin is an excellent cat nanny! I've used other sitters from Rover, but I've never felt the same sense of calm as I did when I left Hazel in Farin's care. She communicated frequently, and sent daily pictures of my affectionate fur baby engaged in play and cuddles. The pictures meant everything to me because I wasn't looking for someone to see to the minimal needs of Hazel, I was looking for someone with a natural ability connect with her.”

About: I'm a lifelong animal lover/parent. Our pets are members of our families, and I'll treat yours as if they were my own. Young, old, special diet, medicine requirements, finicky, playful - I'll be there for them. I have two very independent cats of my own with their own home care routine if I need to be away. I am available when you need someone any day/night of the week. In my home, there is another pet parent which frees me to be there for yours when you need a sitter, feeder, or walks. We have cats and dogs in our immediate area, and I provide sitting services already for my neighbors. You provide instructions for your loved one(s) and I'll follow them!

“Penny was great! This time she came to our house to check in on our cat, who loves her! We got good updates of what they did and multiple pictures. She even kindly brought in our packages that arrived while she was here and got Henry’s meds and treats all taken care of! :)”

“Christina was very friendl and great with Chuck and Penny. She had some playtime with them and sent pictures while she was on her drop in visits. Would definitely use and or recommend her to anyone that needed someone to look after their pets.”

About: Working for dog kennels and groomers while attending school gave me so much joy! I've spent over a decade as an HR manager in a high pressure organization. I recently decided to change career paths and put my health first. This fall I'll begin a program with ADI to become a certified service dog trainer. I have lots of spare time and love to give to your doggie or kitty while you are away. As my teenager has become tired of my "cringy" hugs & kisses. 😁😊 I have years of experience caring for dogs, cats, and even horses. Through rescue organizations and fostering abandoned dogs and cats myself. Giving medicine, house training, and more. Your pet will be in safe hands with me! I'm also available for video call check-ins to give you peace of mind while away. I'm a stay at home mother with plenty of free time. Experienced in caregiving to older pets as well as young puppies. Plenty of time to play, walk, and cuddle! In the past an officer boarded his service dog with us who had a strict schedule which I can provide as well. I have a large fenced backyard free of any hazardous items. Traveling to you and working in your home is perfectly okay with me. I'm very flexible and willing to meet your needs. I can even do a combo.

About: Aside from raising my own 3 fur babies (2 cats and 1 dog- all older babies now), I’ve helped take care of others’ pets from large dobies to small kittens. As my title states, I’m an RN and am very comfortable with giving medications to fur babies (as I do with humans) as well as taking care of any illness issues within reason (wound care/ monitoring / accidents). When it comes to senior care of animals, I understand (as I have 2 of my own) the need for them to get extra special love and attention, and medication to keep them as happy and healthy as possible. I believe in making pets as comfortable as possible and letting them know that I’m there to help and give love (if they want). When it comes to dog walking, I’m really vigilant about our surroundings and making sure that dogs get a good safe walk. I definitely gravitate towards animals over humans haha. I work part-time out of town, and so I have a lot of time spent at home with my own animals. I want to spend any free time I have to help others while I’m not home. I prefer to spend time with pets as much as allowed in their home while also following routines previously set for them. Whether it’s playing out in the back yard, or just hanging out together on the carpet and relaxing, I like the pet to know that I’m there and not alone. If crating is necessary or part of the dogs routine, I can do that too.

About: I am a full-time college student, and I work multiple jobs. I enjoy taking care of pets it's somewhat relaxing to me. I grew up with dogs, birds, turtles, fish, and the occasional neighborhood cats. I am going on my fourth year of pet sitting. I have pet sitted from one day to a whole week. I can do a combination of overnight (at your house) as well as drop-in visits. The max number of dogs I looked after were 14 ( 5 adult -med and 9 pups). With the adult dogs as per instructions from the owners, in the mornings/ afternoons I would let them out to play while I cleaned their kennels and refill their food and drinks. I like to keep in communication with the owners (updates/questions/notifications), especially when I am house sitting. I think it's vital to have so owners can be at ease and sitter can take of thing with confidence. I really would like to see where this petsitting journey will lead me, but I need your help. My schedule is a little odd due to work and school but if you contact me I will do my best to work with you on booking a service. Time is precious so I don't want to waste your time nor mine, so I like to respond within the first 5 minutes of receiving a request. Contact me for any questions. I look forward to hearing from you! Riley R.
“To Prospective Clients, I am delighted to provide a personal reference for my daughter, Riley, who is offering her services as a dog walker and dog sitter through Rover. As Riley’s mother, I have seen first-hand her natural connection with animals thanks to a lifetime of living with a variety of pets. Our family has included dogs, cats, a tortoise, a gecko, and, for a time, chickens. Riley has helped care for every one of them with patience, enthusiasm, and genuine love. Riley has always been surrounded by animals and has grown up with dogs, cats, a tortoise, and, for a time, even chickens. This extensive experience has given her a deep understanding of animal care and behavior, as well as the ability to handle a variety of pet personalities and needs. She is incredibly trustworthy and reliable. When Riley commits to caring for pets, she ensures their needs are met with the highest level of attention and kindness. She makes sure they are well-fed, given plenty of exercise, and, most importantly, cared for with patience and genuine affection. Animals naturally gravitate toward her gentle and caring manner. If you are looking for a compassionate, dependable, and animal-loving person to look after your furry (or feathered or scaled!) family members, I wholeheartedly recommend Riley If you have any questions or would like to speak further about Riley's experience, please feel free to contact me. Sincerely, Anna Ramseier”
