I was happy with our first sitter, but LuLu spent her time there just sniffing their yard and snuggling up on the couch with the sitter. She barely ate and wouldn't play with their dog. It was such a delight to see how happy LuLu was at Rebecca's place. She ran around the yard like I haven't seen her do since she was a puppy. When Rebecca thought LuLu needed a rest and brought her inside, LuLu whined to go back out, so out she went for more running around! Finally, she took a nap on the couch, then got up and ate all of her dinner. Then she settled down chewing on her toy until we came back for her. She was happy to see us, but gave Rebecca a tail wag when they said goodbye. I'm so glad LuLu found a place where she can thrive when we're gone. Now I won't hesitate to book a vacation! Rebecca was very attentive to the history I gave her about LuLu and my instructions about her routine and fears. We did a Meet & Greet on short notice, and Rebecca showed LuLu and me her back yard and inside her house. She assured me that she would never give LuLu an opportunity to run away. The way Rebecca gave me updates all day long assured me that LuLu was being well cared for and was having a great time. Rebecca is definitely Lulu's new sitter. I couldn't be happier with her care.”

About: Edit: since beginning on Rover over a year ago, I have made many long-term clients and repeat customers that I have remained in contact with via other methods. I have kept up to 6 dogs at a time. My love for animals began at 8 years old with my two aquatic dwarf frogs named Rocky and Elvis and my hamster, Josie. In college, I fostered sick kittens from a local shelter. My first few years of living on my own allowed me to adopt my two cats, Piper and Blue. But it wasn’t until I moved into my first house with a yard that I knew I could provide a loving home for dogs, as well. I love all shapes and sizes, but big dogs have my heart. Currently my parents own an English Lab and a Chow Chow/ German Shepherd mix. Our first dog, Molly, inspired the paw tattoo on my inner wrist. I miss her every day. As for my cats: They have a separate space- but they’ve made friends with many of my repeat clients: Belle, Butters, Nova, Larry, Leroy, Doris, and many more! I am home Sat& Sun & after work (3pm) on Monday-Friday. I have a crate here in case your pup needs one while I am at work. I have a large, fenced in yard that dogs love to run and play fetch in. My home is comfy and dogs are allowed on / in any space in my home (we share furniture in these parts). I am very responsible and have pet sat in others homes multiple times. I have always appreciated the opportunity others have given me to make friends with their pet and care for them like they are my own.

About: I have been pet sitting for over five years on a regular basis. I have been around cats and dogs my whole life. I have worked in a dog kennel/doggy day care in the past. I am confident and experienced with giving diabetic injections or medications. I am confident with dogs,cats,rabbits,lizards,snakes, hamsters, mice,and fish. I love animals and make sure to spend extra time with them. I am currently a homemaker and have a very flexible schedule. I can do small walks or check on pets a few times a day as needed. I make sure the pets get plenty of bathroom breaks and attention. I try to get them to play or take them on walks to get energy out. I can even water plants and pickup the mail.

“Penny and Evan were great with our little “high anxiety” fur baby. During the “meet and greet” Penny had us come in and take him straight to the fenced back yard where he could sniff around and go to the bathroom. Knowing about his anxiety, once we went back inside, Penny never tried to pet him, she just allowed him to get used to her being in the room. She was a very calming presence for him. Evan likewise was patient with him and allowed him the time it took to settle and get comfortable. We are thrilled to have found Penny and Even and the bonus is that they live about 4 minutes from our house! We have already booked the next daycare appointment!”

About: I have over a decade of animal welfare experience. I have been fostering dogs in my home since I was old enough to be approved. Over the past 10 years I have cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes and ages(from litter puppies to hospice care seniors). I am a stay at home parent. My husband travels for work therefore, I am home the majority of the time to care for our family, pets and home. I am available for pet care any and all days of the week. We have a large fenced in back yard. A designated dog area(3 rooms) that leads to the back yard. I have 3 young(3, 2, and 1 1/2) medium sized, well behaved dogs of our own who love to play! My dogs have never been known to resources guard or be aggressive towards other animals. I've never had any issues with dogs I have fostered in the past. However, if an issue does surface, my dogs can be relocated to another area of my home.

It is dog friendly & I have my baby w me... she has always traveled well.. but she is now older & she is having separation anxiety when I leave the room! She barks & wont stop! She is a tri color chihuahua ! I can't leave the room & I can't take her to the car show because of the heat! I have never left her .. a bit nervous about doing so.. but thought I would search for Dog Care in area! My story ends in a meet & greet that started a new friendship! About: My own pets are my entire heart, I know how stressful it can be searching for someone to love your baby while you’re busy! I would like to add my pets DO stay with my family full time when I am with yours! I ensure that I will treat your pet with the best care of my ability, striving to make them as comfortable as my own. I have previous experience working in a vet, as well as experience in a doggy daycare holding a roll as a behavioral trainer. I have no bigger passion than the one I hold for animals, and I truly feel lucky to be able to work with them. A little about me personally, I am saving to take courses through the Karen Pryor Academy so I can become a registered dog trainer. I am currently pursuing pet services as a complete source of employment, so I can be with your pets full time!! I love to spend time hiking, at the beach, or snuggled up with my own animals(or yours!) watching a good movie. Pet care IS my schedule.I can come for visits at ANY time! If I am scheduled for house sitting, I will be with your fur babies full time!! *Note, if I am scheduled for a check in or walk while I am house sitting for you, would be gone 5 hours or less. I WOULD be with your pet the entire night! I hope to leave your home better than when I arrive, as I hold great respect for people allowing me into their spaces and trusting me with their furry family. I am more than happy to take them on adventures or keep them snuggled up in the house. I do currently work Monday thru Friday 8-4 with quite a bit of flexibility. I have made my service area smaller so that I can stay close to my job and be able to tend to the needs of coming home on lunch, going in late, leaving early, or anything that I can do to make it work with your babies! I try to make sure to follow the routine they are used to so everyone feels as comfy as possible. I always require a meet before the time of me coming over so you get a good understanding of me as a person and I have no confusion on the best ways to take care of your babies.
