This was only a two day, one night stay but Kim and her boyfriend went out of their way to make sure Lexie was happy and that we were informed so we would not worry. It was a great experience.”

I was happy with our first sitter, but LuLu spent her time there just sniffing their yard and snuggling up on the couch with the sitter. She barely ate and wouldn't play with their dog. It was such a delight to see how happy LuLu was at Rebecca's place. She ran around the yard like I haven't seen her do since she was a puppy. When Rebecca thought LuLu needed a rest and brought her inside, LuLu whined to go back out, so out she went for more running around! Finally, she took a nap on the couch, then got up and ate all of her dinner. Then she settled down chewing on her toy until we came back for her. She was happy to see us, but gave Rebecca a tail wag when they said goodbye. I'm so glad LuLu found a place where she can thrive when we're gone. Now I won't hesitate to book a vacation! During the “meet and greet” Penny had us come in and take him straight to the fenced back yard where he could sniff around and go to the bathroom. Knowing about his anxiety, once we went back inside, Penny never tried to pet him, she just allowed him to get used to her being in the room. She was a very calming presence for him. Evan likewise was patient with him and allowed him the time it took to settle and get comfortable. “Kim was great with our little girl Golden Retriever, Lexie. Kim and her boyfriend played ball with her and took her for a walk. Lexie also got to play with two Golden puppies. The fenced in backyard was wonderful for her to burn off that extra energy. Kim sent many pictures to let us know that Lexie was eating well and playing with the others. This was only a two day, one night stay but Kim and her boyfriend went out of their way to make sure Lexie was happy and that we were informed so we would not worry. It was a great experience.”
About: I’ve had dogs, usually multiple ones, living with me for my entire life. I just so enjoy being with them and I have a very flexible work schedule so I can always help take care of your furry friend! I work from home and can always set my own schedule so I can be available almost anytime. I will make it a priority to take care of your dog. I have a pig named Beaker living with me and he has a wonderful personality and lives all other dogs. I’ll happily follow any directions you have for your baby and live to play with dogs in any fashion.

About: The house my parents moved into when I was only 4 weeks old was unfortunately a dumping ground for unwanted animals. Before I could even walk, I was cuddling with any animal that showed up at our door. This instilled a passion within me that I can finally turn into a profession. From Rescue and fostering to training dogs and showing horses, animals have always been a huge part of my life. In addition to my Management degree, I have an Associate of Science Degree with a major in Animal Science and a specialization in Agriculture. I completed an AKC handlers’ course which focused on reading your dog’s body language to understand their needs. Being so heavily involved in rescue, I have history and experience in dealing with reactive and/or selective dogs. I have many safety features depending on the animals needs including crates, double hung baby gates and 6 ft chain link fence that is separated into two yards. I also offer pet waste removal services. Feel free to send me a note if you have any questions. After a successful 25year business management career, I am now turning my lifetime passion of animal care into a profession. This year I started up my own business, "G'MA DOES". I offer a range of services from dog walking and pet sitting to animal waste removal. I like to stay active! While I have learned a tremendous amount of knowledge from multiple trainers, what I hold most dear is the ongoing information I take in from animal behaviorists such as Cesar Millan. Remember, when you first meet a strange dog practice NO TOUCH, NO TALK, NO EYE CONTACT! *LICENSED AND INSURED* In my house we call it "FURniture" for a reason. I use the "crate and rotate" regimen as needed and for feeding. I also have baby gates at every doorway. My entire backyard is a 6 ft chain length fence and I have it separated into two secured areas for exercise. Inside, one room is a dedicated cat room for litterboxes toys etc. The other two bedrooms will be dedicated safe spaces used for play, overnight stays, or whatever the situation calls for.
