“I wanted to take my dogs to Shannon last year, based on her profile alone. She has experience with senior dogs and dogs with disabilities. I can't remember if I didn't take the vacation or she just wasn't available for the dates I needed but, I didn't use her last year. This year, I needed a sitter for 3 nights as I was going out of town. She took care of my little beagle, Buddy and my golden doodle, Toby. I've had both of these dogs for less than 3 months. When I took them to visit her before the vacation, they took to her and her household immediately so I felt very secure leaving them 2 days later when I went on vacation. My niece also left her little Aussie dog with her as well. Shannon sent lots of pictures of the dogs and descriptions of their activities each day! She let us know if they weren't eating and she gave her input and thoughts as to why they were doing or not doing something unusual. She gave me and my niece both peace of mind and that's the number one thing we needed from a dog sitter. We could tell that she loved on our dogs just as if they were her children and we loved it. About: I’ve had dogs since i was a baby, always been one of my favorite things. I’ve been told i’m an animal whisperer and have a special connection with pets i don’t even know! I’m currently a part time worker, i’d have plenty of time to take care of and watch your animals. l don’t spend much time away from home max would be 4-5hrs on certain days. I’m overly open with pets being out around the house, they can be crated if needed of course. I have a small fenced area but a leash would still be needed preferably due to my neighbors dogs.

About: I have 3 dogs at home in CLT, NC. All of my friends say I treat them like my babies. I miss them so much when I am at school and would love to give your puppy some snuggles while you are away! I have 1 class a day so I will be gone max 2 hours and I LOVEEE walks so they will be walked at least 2 miles everyday if able! I can easily crate your dog if preferred. I live in an apartment but live super close to grassy areas for when they need to use the restroom. I have 3 other roommate's who all have dogs at home and one of us is usually always home!

About: I’ve had dogs and cats around me for most of my life, from growing-up on a farm in Maryland to working large animal husbandry at the Virginia Tech Veterinary School to sharing a 1-bedroom studio with two cats in Roanoke City, and I’ve always loved all animals. All! Right now, I have one dog and three cats of my own, and they are very much part of my family. I’m comfortable caring for both dogs and cats with different personalities and needs. I enjoy walks, playtime, and just hanging out with them and giving them attention. I know how important it is to have someone you can trust with your pets when you’re away, and I’ll care for yours just like I care for my own. I’m currently in the process of my Pet-CPR/First Aid certification. I’m working a flexible schedule (as a Referee). When I’m at work, Nalini (my wife), will be there at home with your pet. So, your pet would never be there alone day or night. The most respect, care, compassion, and hugs!! There’s separate pet living spaces in my house for accommodating your pets needs, and we have a friendly and vaccinated dog.

I have experience with dogs as little as Chihuahuas to as big as Rottweilers and we all know who is more feisty ;) I work during the week but am available for walks after 5pm. I am available for boarding all day on the weekends or during the week if your pets are low-needs during the day! I have a private 3+ acre yard with a kenneled in area if needed. I have crates for my dogs and more than happy to crate yours if needed. I am willing to accommodate most needs/request as long as you are willing to communicate!
