We have an Australian Shepherd who never seems to tire out but he was exhausted all day when we picked him up. Our other dog was exhausted as well but he doesn’t have near as much energy as the Aussie. It seemed like they had a lot of fun and were well cared for!”

About: I have 2 dogs. One is a senior Shih Tzu and one is a one year old mix. They both get along well with dogs and cats. I have had dogs my whole life and will treat yours as my own.. I work remotely and I'm home most all day. I have 3 kids who also love dogs and cats. I have a fenced in back yard with lots of room to run and play. My dogs love meeting and playing with new friends! I will care for your pet as if they were my own. I am highly attentive, and your pet will have a great time and love being in my care.

“Kim was great with our little girl Golden Retriever, Lexie. Kim and her boyfriend played ball with her and took her for a walk. Lexie also got to play with two Golden puppies. The fenced in backyard was wonderful for her to burn off that extra energy. Kim sent many pictures to let us know that Lexie was eating well and playing with the others. This was only a two day, one night stay but Kim and her boyfriend went out of their way to make sure Lexie was happy and that we were informed so we would not worry. It was a great experience.”

“Amazing care as always. Have booked with Janis and Justin many times, they are my go-to sitter in Roanoke. Everything went great as usual. He gets a lot of exercise, plays with other dogs, and comes home happy. I highly recommend them as sitters. I wish Rover would not cap the tip amount however.”

“They were very happy to help out and take care of my anxious puppy, Patch, while my husband and I enjoyed our weekend vacation. They allowed a meet and greet before which was very helpful for Patch to get familiar with them and their house as well as my husband and I to feel very comfortable with them taking care of him. During the time, they provided updates and photos of how Patch was doing which helped ease our worry and focus on enjoying our vacation. “Suzann & Durrell were super accommodating when we made last minute boarding accommodations with them only 1 day before we were going out of town. They were very responsive and answered all of my questions beforehand and were reassuring that they understood all that boarding a puppy brings. Everyday I received photos and updates of how our puppy was doing and getting into. Their family took him on walks, hikes, took great care of him, and had plenty of play dates with their own dog. They were accommodating with dropping him off and picking him up timeframes and locations. When we picked him up, they even surprised us with a gift for our puppy to remember them by which was very sweet! We’ll definitely be rebooking in the future when we can’t take him with us!”
