I was happy with our first sitter, but LuLu spent her time there just sniffing their yard and snuggling up on the couch with the sitter. She barely ate and wouldn't play with their dog. It was such a delight to see how happy LuLu was at Rebecca's place. She ran around the yard like I haven't seen her do since she was a puppy. When Rebecca thought LuLu needed a rest and brought her inside, LuLu whined to go back out, so out she went for more running around! Finally, she took a nap on the couch, then got up and ate all of her dinner. Then she settled down chewing on her toy until we came back for her. She was happy to see us, but gave Rebecca a tail wag when they said goodbye. I'm so glad LuLu found a place where she can thrive when we're gone. Now I won't hesitate to book a vacation! Rebecca was very attentive to the history I gave her about LuLu and my instructions about her routine and fears. We did a Meet & Greet on short notice, and Rebecca showed LuLu and me her back yard and inside her house. She assured me that she would never give LuLu an opportunity to run away. The way Rebecca gave me updates all day long assured me that LuLu was being well cared for and was having a great time. Rebecca is definitely Lulu's new sitter. I couldn't be happier with her care.”

About: I'm always available and I love all animals. I'm CPR certified and I calm with emergency situations and know how to handle them. I have two dogs of my own and a spoiled rotten cat as well as a friend who lives with me and helps with the animals. I am very flexible with my hours and rates. I'm open to sitting for cats and dogs only. In emergencies I will be happy to transport to owners vet at their expense. I do not potty train. All animals must have some obedience training and be housebroken before I can make any pet sitting exceptions. I will provide food, toys, crates, or anything your pet needs during its stay. I can't wait to start watching your pet. I am willing to help with obedience training. For grooming or any kind of pet services I will need copies of vaccination records as well as emergency contact numbers as you pet will use my own professional groomer who is paid 40.00 per pet at your expense & I will need time to book an appointment in advance with a groomer. I am home all the time, I stay home so I can take care of my own dogs & keep my home clean. Rover is my job I have a fenced in run connected to an enclosed patio & I allow them to be inside bedrooms in their crates or play in my living room & kitchen area with supervision, they must be house broken

I truly go above and beyond when it comes to pet care — and in my book, a little spoiling is always included. ;) I’ve had decades of hands-on experience caring for dogs since 2004, from training my first Mini Schnauzer, Ally, as a puppy to providing specialized senior care as she got older. In 2009, my husband and I rescued our first senior Schnauzer, Smokey, and cared for him through several medical issues including seizures, gastroenteritis, and inner ear infections. I’m extremely attentive to a dog’s needs, personality, comfort, and safety, and I always stay alert to make sure they’re happy, secure, and out of trouble. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your fur baby, and I would care for your dog like one of my own. *Please note: I can only accommodate dogs up to 15 lbs. Requests above this size will be declined. Please do not request bookings for larger dogs. I’m a stay-at-home pet parent, which allows me to give my full attention and care to both my own dog and the pets staying with me. At our home, pets are treated like family and will receive lots of love, attention, supervision, and playtime throughout the day. We have a securely fenced yard for safe outdoor time, potty breaks, and play, but dogs will always be supervised while outside. I pay close attention to each dog’s personality, comfort level, routines, and needs to help them feel safe and relaxed while away from home. Whether your pup enjoys playtime, walks, cuddles, or simply relaxing in a calm environment, I’m happy to accommodate their routine as closely as possible. I also understand the importance of consistency, patience, and attentiveness, especially for senior dogs or pets with special needs.

About: I began volunteering at my local animal shelter at the age of 9 and have been caring for animals ever since. I have 20 years experience pet sitting for neighbors and I have my own 6 year old pitbull, Cleo, so I’m no stranger to energetic dogs. I’m a teacher, so my summers give me full flexibility to care for your animals! I love to walk dogs on local greenways and trails. I have a fenced in backyard where your dog can play. If they like to play with a buddy, my dog will be their best friend!

“Chloe was really great to work with our big dog. He has separation anxiety and can be a nervous and shy dog. She did a meet and greet beforehand, listened and asked questions about him. “Penny and Evan were great with our little “high anxiety” fur baby. During the “meet and greet” Penny had us come in and take him straight to the fenced back yard where he could sniff around and go to the bathroom. Knowing about his anxiety, once we went back inside, Penny never tried to pet him, she just allowed him to get used to her being in the room. She was a very calming presence for him. Evan likewise was patient with him and allowed him the time it took to settle and get comfortable. We are thrilled to have found Penny and Even and the bonus is that they live about 4 minutes from our house! We have already booked the next daycare appointment!”

About: I am a lover of animals! As someone who travels as well I know how it can feel to leave your fur babies so it is important that there is communication and love for them while you are gone! My goal is to make you feel secure leaving for a day, a weekend or more and come back seamlessly! I am a teacher of 15 years however am taking a year off a using Rover as my go to! So I am available for early morning visits, mid afternoon and evening. My weekend availability varies due to my own traveling. Good news is summer will be wide open!
