About: Hello! My name is MaKenzie, I am 24 years old and I grew up around dogs my entire life so this is not something that is new to me! I have been watching animals since I was 16, and have always loved it. I have watched all different kinds of animals from pigs and chicken all the way to bunnies and reptiles. I live in a house with a great yard (unfenced) with my dog Mochi. My dog is a female Doberman who LOVES to play. Mochi is extremely energetic so we do play and walk a lot. If your dog is similar, and as energetic as Mochi, then this would be a great spot for them! I’m currently running dog/cat sitting as a full time business, so I have all the time in the world. I also work part time for another company with hours around 11am-1pm. Whenever dogs visit they get free roam of the house along with my pup! Dogs do remain on leashes when going outside as I don’t have a fence. Dogs are not allowed unattended outside at all.

“Skye was terrific to work with. She was on time for our meet and greet, and Raffi loved her! She sent pics a couple of times each day, she left the house the way she found it, and took wonderful care of our sweet pup. It was Raffi's first time away from us since we adopted her a couple of months ago, and Skye was sensitive to the need for Raffi to feel loved and have consistency in her "care and feeding". We don't go away without our dogs very often, but when we do, Skye will be our first contact. Thank you Skye!”

About: I began housesitting during the pandemic, just for a change of environment, but over time I’ve really come to enjoy it. I’ve previously worked in a pet boarding facility, so I have lots of experience in getting animals to eat, administering medications, and cleaning up after them! I’ve seen quite a bit. Currently doing a couple different odd jobs (this totally being one of them). I always try to spend a lot of time with the animal I’m caring for, sitting with them and allowing them to relax with me in the home. I always stay over with the animals. I also like the take the dog for adventures when applicable, hikes or trips to the marina!
