About: We are a married couple that work from home and have a friendly 6 year old golden retriever and a 3 year old Collie Mix. We have decided to host one dog (family) at a time. We are home bodies and our pups love having company. When you book with us feel safe knowing your dog will be treated as part of the family and monitored for safety. We both grew up with family dogs and other pets and we understand the scary feeling of boarding your dog. We are happy to meet and answer any questions before taking in your dog. We will update you daily (at a minimum) of how they are doing, including sending pictures of course. As mentioned, we work from home. Our schedules are very flexible. When we book a stay we plan on staying home and playing with the dogs. We have a fully fenced backyard where our pups love to roam and play. Your dog will be part of the family and free to roam the house and yard as they please.

About: Hello! My name is MaKenzie, I am 24 years old and I grew up around dogs my entire life so this is not something that is new to me! I have been watching animals since I was 16, and have always loved it. I have watched all different kinds of animals from pigs and chicken all the way to bunnies and reptiles. I live in a house with a great yard (unfenced) with my dog Mochi. My dog is a female Doberman who LOVES to play. Mochi is extremely energetic so we do play and walk a lot. If your dog is similar, and as energetic as Mochi, then this would be a great spot for them! I’m currently running dog/cat sitting as a full time business, so I have all the time in the world. I also work part time for another company with hours around 11am-1pm. Whenever dogs visit they get free roam of the house along with my pup! Dogs do remain on leashes when going outside as I don’t have a fence. Dogs are not allowed unattended outside at all.

About: I’m flexible to the care your pets are used to. I’ll cuddle any dog or cat bc let’s face it, they’re better mannered than people. Additional Notes- Weekends: will be away from home/pets 2-4 hours at a time. School year: (Sept-June) I work part time as a substitute teacher). Pet must be able to be alone 6-8 hrs. Please make minimal /basic clean-up tools available/accesible (broom, vacuum, paper towels, dish rag, etc).

About: Hi! I'm Becca and am Canyon’s human. He’s a red heeler I rescued 2 years ago. I’ve learned so much about dog reactivity from him and he has gained so much confidence. It’s so important to me that any new pet I meet feels safe and comfortable with me. Feel free to reach out with any questions! I’m currently in between jobs so I have a very flexible schedule. About: I have lived with animals my whole life, and now live with my best friend Bean the female German Shorthair Pointer, who loves to play with other dogs. I have experience with all types of animals and have spend years watching and learning to train my friends dogs and my own. Whether it's a bunch of playful puppies or a sweet old dog, I've taken care of them all. I have experience with newborn litters and taken care of my own elderly dogs. Because of this, I can give your dog the perfect care they need to feel happy and loved, no matter how young or old they are! I currently work a full time job but I get fridays-Sunday off. During the weekends I’m free to take your pup on walks or even house sit while you’re gone enjoying some me time. Weekdays I usually have short days and can be flexible with my hours. I have a fenced back yard, and a lovely park not even 10 min away. They can spend time with me inside and outside my home.

About: Besides my experience with my own pets I began volunteering at the Oregon Humane Society at 17. After that I went on to dog sit for various different families part time for around 3 years. I have a big window of availability currently. I’m going back to school in the fall, but until then I am just working part time. I work for my grandpa, so my schedule is super flexible! When I dog sit in the clients home I will follow your instructional list for feeding/walks/ activities/ grooming ect. I have car so I can take your pup to nearby parks/ dog parks if you would like, or just for a classic stroll around your neighborhood if you prefer. For clients that would prefer I take car if you dog in my home I have a fenced in back yard and live near several park so we can go on several adventures. Or just chill at home if you have a senior/ more low energy dog. My only deal breaker is that your dog isn’t reactive towards cats.

About: I've had many pets since I was a young child. My grandparents had a farm so I've had experience with all sorts of animals. My dream is to have an animal sanctuary some day. I believe it's important to provide care to an animal in their home to limit stress and disruption to their normal routine. I have 3 dogs at home. Many of my home cleaning clients have animals so I'm exposed to all types of pets on a daily basis. Walking dogs provides exercise not only to the dog but for me as well. Providing care and a routine that the animal is used to is important to me. Communication with the pet parent is key to a successful experience with any animal.

About: While growing up I have always had a dog in the home. I’m a huge dog lover and don’t know what I would do if I did not have a dog in my life. I remember when my parents let me chose our next dog when I was young. I chose a sheltie and named him Arrow. The reason for the name Arrow was when I went to pick him up I noticed in his fur on the back of his head was an arrow. I loved taking care of Arrow and we had a special bond! I loved taking him on walks and he loved chasing me around the house. When I turned 15 I started to take care of one of my neighbors cats and fish when they went on vacations. After completing one summer, I started taking care of their cats and fish for the next eight years before I moved out. Once the rest of my neighbors found out I was known in the neighborhood for taking care of my neighbors dogs and cats when they were on vacations! I have also taken care of many of my coworkers cats and dogs as well. So rest assured your pet will be in good hands while you are on vacation. It will be one less stress to worry about. I currently work full time, however work three 12 hours shifts. I’m currently off Friday-Monday. So I’m available for the weekends, so perfect for anyone wanting to do a weekend getaway! I do work graveyard so I’m available anytime after 2pm on Fridays. However, if you need to drop of earlier just communicate so I can plan ahead. My girlfriend and I live in a townhouse. I don’t have a fenced backyard. However, have a small backyard that is used for potty breaks. It does have a small area of grass turf (fake grass). The good news we live in Fairview in the Fairview Terrace community. We have a very large area for dogs. So your dog will have lots of playtime in the grassy area. Also, the neighborhood is perfect for walking your dog as well. The community is fenced and a gated community as well. Our community is very dog friendly and many pet owners. We also have a micro mini Golden doodle. So your dog will have a playmate as well. We can also send photos of your pet to you while on vacation to help with the separation. I know when I go on vacation I have a hard time leaving my fur baby behind. For me, getting photos of my fur baby made the vacation a little easier!

About: I grew up with all kinds of animals and I am willing do to whatever it takes to make them happy, comfortable, and cared for. I do work varying shifts! Not too long but outside of work I will still provide everything they may need! With lots of pets, play time and going outside! I do have a full yard and I moved to a house so i no longer live in an apartment. I dont have any dogs. Not since I moved out. I watch a beautiful hound when his parents need time away. My parents have two beautiful well taken care of Rottweilers. I have five cats. I feed them good quality food and occasionally do raw food diet when I can afford it. I play with them when I can and they are inside cats.
