“Ariel’s the best! She made sure my shy pup got comfortable with her before talking her on a walk, gave her her medications and took her on nice long walks. Highly recommend Ariel, a kind, caring sitter!”

“Very happy I hired Timothy to walk our two huskies while out of town for four nights. I have never done it before because huskies can be a handful and I never trusted anyone else to walk my dogs, including my normal pet sitter, because of how strong and unpredictable my dogs are. But, I knew our youngest would go absolutely insane without any daily enrichment. Timothy showed up promptly each morning and provided a good report on each walk and some pictures showing the dogs panting, so I knew the walk tired them out, which was the whole point. I felt so much better knowing they were getting some exercise. Will definitely use the service again.”

About: I grew up with dogs and fish in my home. Since moving out and not being able to financially care for a pet, I thought I’d offer to watch and care for yours when you’re unavailable. I work full-time at a hospital so I will be offering my services on days I have off from there, where I work as a registered respiratory therapist. I am willing to stay in your home during the days I work if you are out of town. The only thing to be aware of is that my shifts are 12 hours long. I’m willing to stay in your home with your pet when you’re away from home and follow any schedules you may have for your pet.

About: I have years of experience caring for animals, from dogs to cats & rabbits. Pet care is an area that I am thrilled to be now pursuing on a higher level. Animals have captured my heart for years, and this is something that will not change now or in the future. I am someone who pays attention to details and always has animal welfare at the forefront of my mind. I do not doubt that I am someone to be trusted with your animals. I look forward to potentially working with you! I am fortunate in that I have a fairly flexible routine currently. This allows for pet care jobs and responsibilities to be easier to take on. I am happy to watch your animals in your home if all checks out. What might it look like? I could stop by once or twice a day (‘depending) to make sure your pet(s) are well and everything is running smoothly. For example, I just wrapped up pet sitting for someone I know in the area & she gave me a spare key for her place. This is just what made sense & what she was comfortable with at the time. She left some realistic instructions for me & all went well. It was a win-win situation. You just need help with dog walking? I am happy to consider that as well!

“Jaqelynn was friendly, reliable, and great with Roscoe. She made sure to get him the maximum amount of exercise, sniffs, and potty breaks on every walk. She also reinforced our training. Would definitely hire her again. Thank you!”

About: I grew up on a farm surrounded by a variety of animals, from chickens to horses, which sparked my love for animals at an early age. In high school, I became a Certified Veterinary Assistant, completing 400 hours of hands-on shadowing experience with veterinarians. While I no longer work professionally with animals, I’ve spent the last 10 years caring for my cat, who sadly passed away in February from an intestinal lipoma. This personal experience has deepened my understanding of the bond we share with our pets and the care they require. I’m passionate about providing the same level of love and attention to every pet I care for. I currently live and work in the Grand Rapids area and serve clients within a 6-mile radius between my home and workplace. For house sitting bookings: My services include overnight care, meaning I’ll stay in your home in the evenings through the next morning, providing your pets with company, meals, potty breaks, and lots of love. I may also be able to stop by once during the day (between 11am-2pm) for a check-in, depending on my schedule. If your pet needs mid-day walks or more daytime companionship, I recommend booking an additional drop-in visit or messaging me about a custom plan. This helps me ensure your pet gets the care they need while I manage my full-time job schedule. I understand the importance of trust, reliability, and keeping pets (and homes!) in good hands. I’ll always communicate clearly, send updates at your preferred frequency, and treat your pets like they’re my own. As a former pet owner, I understand how important it is to maintain structure, routine, and enrichment for your pets while you're away. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of caring for friends and family’s pets and homes, providing peace of mind knowing that their animals are in safe, trusted hands. I always ensure that pets have their regular meals, exercise, and playtime, and I love finding ways to enrich their environment—whether it’s offering new toys, interactive activities, or even sticking to a favorite daily walk. In addition to caring for your pets, I also take great care in looking after your home. Whether it’s collecting mail, watering plants, or keeping everything secure, I treat your home with the same respect as my own. I know that trust and safety are crucial, so you can feel confident that your pets and home are being cared for in a way that aligns with your routine and expectations. My goal is to provide a smooth, stress-free experience for both you and your pets.

I’m comfortable giving medications, following special routines, and providing lots of love and attention. I also have a cat of my own named Charlie, so I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member—I treat every pet like they’re my own. Right now until school starts my availability is completely open just get with me and I should be able to watch your loved ones at any time. About: Hi! I'm Meaghan, a medical student at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine with a lifelong passion for animal care. Before med school, I spent 4 years working in a veterinary clinic, gaining hands-on experience with pets of all kinds. I've been a trusted in-home pet sitter throughout college and medical school, offering services that go beyond basic care. With skills in medication administration, puppy training, and senior pet support, I provide safe, attentive, and compassionate care tailored to your pet's unique needs. As a medical student, my schedule varies between 4- to 8-hour shifts, which gives me flexibility throughout the week. On days I’m away longer, my husband—who works from home full-time—is always there to help. If a pet is used to having company around the clock, he stays with me to ensure they still get plenty of love, attention, and even a few extra walks during the day. Together, we make sure your pet never feels alone and always gets the care they’re used to. I typically care for pets in my clients' homes, as I find it helps keep them comfortable and stress-free by maintaining their normal routines. I treat your home as “home base” for your pet, sticking closely to their usual schedule for feeding, walks, and playtime. I'm also happy to take care of light household tasks like watering plants, taking out the trash, and bringing in the mail. My goal is always to ease your pet’s anxiety while you're away—and to leave your home even cleaner than I found it.
