“I had a busy 17 hour day, and with my husband traveling Tobi would have been in his kennel with a short 30 min window (when I needed to come home to change) to stretch his legs and potty. Hannah was a life saver and agreed to watch Tobi for a few hours at her place, on a dimes notice. She noticed Tobi’s anxious behavior and provided play and walks to get him comfortable. We figured that her small apartment may have been too small of a space for Tobi (I live in a single family home with a yard), and as a solution she did offer her dog walking services where she’d pick Tobi up from my house for walks in the future. About: I am offering my home for your small dog to feel comfortable and secure! I am very dependable and trustworthy and will Not cancel last minute! My husband and I are home most of the time! We love dogs and have had them all of our lives. I look forward to working with you, and of course, your dog! My husband works from Home and I am mostly home with the exception of running errands. We do not leave our dog home for very long. I care for dogs in my home as if they are ours. Another words, they are spoiled rotten! Our dog sleeps in our bed and so will yours if they prefer! We always go outside with them in our fenced in yard.

About: Dogs have been my passion for 30 years. I have had all types of breeds - tiny to giant and have adopted all of my babies. I am experienced with giving special medical care and medications including injections as several of my kids have had severe illnesses. I believe there are no bad dogs, just dogs who express themselves differently. Would love to meet your four-legged family and help make them happy. My day rates are based on an 8 hr day. Rates for after 8 hrs can be discussed. I work from home and have a flexible schedule which allows me time during the day to provide the attention needed for walks and potty break. I have a fenced in area for potty breaks and playtime. Timber is in full puppy play mode and loves to share her toys and balls with our guests.

About: Over the past 35 years, we've had three dogs who lived to 13, 14 and 15 years. We are very familiar with older dogs as well as young dogs and enjoy playing with dogs. After the loss of our last dog, Lucy, we decided to take a break from having another dog as we were empty nesters. We love dogs and were encouraged by our grown children to try Rover. We live on a quiet street near the York Harbor Beach and our house is far from the road with woods all around us. I am a regular daily walker and would love to have a dog to walk with me on occasion. I am familiar with the regulations on leashes, beach hours and waste bags. We are generally home on the days we accept pet sitting to take care of any visiting dogs. We became pet sitters because we enjoy hanging out with dogs. We have a large backyard surrounded by woods far from roads as well as a home that is dog friendly. We live about 2/3 mile from a quiet beach and it is a perfect walk for most dogs.

“This was Nova's second visit with Martha and it couldn't have gone better. She took great care with her, took her on lots of long walks and gave her a bath and brushed her. I don't think Nova has ever looked so good. Much better than the professional groomers. In the future I might just leave Nova with Martha for the day just for her great grooming skills. Martha is caring and Nova really warmed to her. I would highly recommend her.”
