“Jennifer sent pictures and updates throughout the day, and went above and beyond to make Apollo comfortable. I'll definitely send Apollo there again when we're out skiing!”

“My metric is simple: if my dog walks willingly with you and doesn’t look back when I drop him off—he’s happy, I’m happy. With Jennifer, that’s exactly what happens every time. When we arrive, he greets her with a wiggly body, and when I pick him up, he’s relaxed and content. My dog is on a restricted diet, so leaving him with someone is always a little scary—he’s my family, and he can be high maintenance. Jennifer put all my worries at ease. She cares for him like her own, and I never have to wonder if he’s safe, loved, and well cared for. No stress, no sick belly—just a happy pup. Her love for dogs truly shines through. I’m so grateful we found her! Highly recommend.”

“Thanks to Kayla & family we had a great first time experience on Rover! Super responsive, accommodating, and let me bring Frankie for a visit to meet them the day before. Her kids loved on our dog and she sent pictures of Frankie snuggling😊”

“When our dog, Galadriel came home from her first day of daycare, she passed out and slept for a good 4 hours! I was told from Jill she had the time of her life! We are really happy that G has a place to run around and that she also has another dog to play with. We also got text updates and photos! Awesome place!”

About: I am a dog lover and I work 90% from home. I had two sweet boxers in the past who were by my side for frequent walks, trips to the dog park, ball playing in the yard, and frequent adoration and potty breaks. Your four legged kids will get lots of love and affection. I work from home and have lots of opportunities for walks and play. I have availability during traditional work hours and some weekends with advance notice. I used to have very active dogs and I can offer lots of attention, play, and affection. I have nearby trails and parks for extra exercise. I always use caution when out in public and make sure pets are on leash when out for walks and are secure in a home before opening doors.
“Jennifer and Champ are the best! They are both so welcoming. My middle-aged Lab is usually somewhat mellow and indifferent, but when he arrived for his second visit at Jennifer's house, he was super bouncy and excited! Jennifer has a big fenced yard and she has transformed her house for ultimate dog-friendly comfort. She sent pictures and updates throughout his visit, and even printed a beautiful photo of him for me to take home. Jennifer is very responsive, quickly responding to my inquiries about scheduling and and answering questions. I knew my Nikko was in good hands and I felt 100 percent comfortable leaving my pup with her. I just hope she doesn't get too popular and busy!”

“Great day for the dogs, we received pictures and were kept up to date how the girls were doing. We were late picking them up but James is very accommodating, would love to book with him again.”

About: Former mental-health professional who is happily shifting my career from mental health & behavioral health counseling to full-time animal care—because honestly, dogs have always been my favorite therapy clients! I fully understand fear, trauma, and behavior at a deep level. For years I have been the go to Foster for local rescues for complex medical and emotional needs dogs. For nearly 15 years I’ve volunteered and fostered with local rescues and shelters, helping many dogs find calm, confidence, and their forever homes. I hold canine CPR & first-aid certification, I have extensive training in dog behavior and positive-reinforcement techniques, and I’m currently studying for my CPDT-KA professional dog trainer certification. When your dog stays with me, they are literally the only guest in my home. They have full run of the house and fully fenced backyard, sleep wherever they feel most secure (many choose right in bed with me), and receive gentle, constant companionship in an ultra-low-stress environment. I work from home, have no children present, no other animals and I am the only person in my home. My fully fenced, spacious backyard gives them plenty of room to zoom, play, or just sunbathe while I’m never more than a room away. Canine CPR certified and comfortable with injections, fluids, seizure meds, tubes — whatever your dog needs. No kids, no pets, no chaos—just peace and snuggles Your dog lives like family: free roam, couch cuddles, my bed if wanted, constant company, daily yard play, fresh meals, meds, love—never crated or alone.
“Thank you, Rose. Gaia came home absolutely relaxed, I could really tell she enjoyed her day with you. I loved all the pictures of my baby throughout the day. You were so consistent. My dog doesn't take easy to new people or dogs, so to hear that she felt calm and confident enough with you to be part of the pack really is proof of how great you are at what you do. Thank you so much!”

About: I’ve been caring for animals for over 10 years and genuinely love getting to know each pet’s unique personality. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, play with, and bathe their pets, and I treat every animal like they’re my own. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, including energetic puppies and sweet senior pets who need a little extra patience and care. I’m attentive, dependable, and happy to stick to your pet’s routine so they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and I love making time to give animals attention, exercise, and companionship. I’m reliable, communicative, and happy to provide updates and photos so you always know your pet is happy and well cared for. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I take time to learn their routine, needs, and personality so they feel secure and cared for. I’m attentive during walks, careful with doors and leashes, and respectful of your home and space. I follow feeding instructions closely, keep water fresh, and make sure pets get plenty of love, play, and supervision while in my care.

“We have booked Kelly multiple times, and our once-anxious shih tzus were practically dragging my husband across the lawn to greet her this time. They adore “Auntie Kelly” and they were a little sad to leave Khloe behind at the end of the day. I love the regular updates and photos she sends throughout the day, and she truly cares for my dogs as if they were her own. I (still!) highly recommend her!”
“Alyssa has done a wonderful job watching my pug Ella! I've appreciated that she's given me updates and it seems like my pug feels right at home and follows her around everywhere. Thanks for taking such good care of Ella!”

“Molly has been amazing to my girl! She hosts her daily for doggy daycare with her crew of dogs and Finley fits right in. Throughout the day, Molly sends pictures to update me & even goes above and beyond by dropping Finley off home on the nights I work late. I am ecstatic that Finley gets to socialize with some furry friends during the day and I don’t have to worry about her while I’m working. I highly recommend Molly as she is passionate in caring for dogs and is very accommodating with her services!”

“My dog always got so excited when it was time to drop her off for daycare in the morning and was always tired in the evening when it was time for pickup! She always seemed to have a great time. Couldn't recommend enough!”

“Sonya was communicative throughout the day about how our dog was doing and sent a few photos. At pickup, Sonya provided more details about our dog’s day and his socialization with other dogs. This was the first time he has been at doggy daycare and really socializing with other dogs. Sonya made us feel comfortable and our dog was happy and tuckered out from having so much fun.”

Canterwood dog parents share their Rover experiences
Jen was great with our dog Lucy! She was very patient as Lucy was a bit nervous and got settled in. But she took her on a lovely beach walk and Lucy really enjoyed that. Afterwards, Lucy got playtime with Jen's dog Tillie and a nice snooze in the sun. Jen kept us apprised of all the happenings with kits of photos. We will definitely book with her again.
