About: Hi! I'm Harper and I've always been in love with animals, especially dogs, since I was young. I enjoy making connections and friendships with them, and they make me so happy. I am a dog mommy of a sweet Shiba Inu, and he is my cute BFF. When your furry baby is with me, I will treat him or her like my own, making sure that he or she is feeling as happy and comfortable as possible. I am pretty good at adapting to all of the unique dog personalities, and I'm very patient and gentle towards them. I will play games, take him/her on nature walks, and snuggle him/her. We have a huge dog park within 5 minutes of walking distance so they will sure to have a lot of play-dates! :) Your dog's well-being and safety are my priority. I ask that you bring any toys, water & food bowl, leash and/or harness, and food and treats (if you wish). I currently live in a dog-friendly apartment in San Jose. “Bartika has been such a joy to work with! She was instrumental in mitigating a significant part of our anxiety leaving our high energy German shepherd pup in a new environment, away from her humans for the first time ever. Both the pup and I have anxiety and Bartika was totally cool with letting Burfee be herself and work her way through her first experience outside home. She kept us updated regularly which was what helped me keep it together as I was out of town. She read Burfee’s behavior and body language and knew when she was anxious and when she started getting a little relaxed. Bartika and her husband are fantastic caregivers if you’re leaving your pup for the first time. She really pays attention to detail and will work to establish her own relationship with your dog which will go a long way in putting your dog at ease and helping them be more comfortable with new social experiences. “We felt very comfortable leaving my 2 pups with Diana for daycare. Her home is very clean, with a good-sized yard for running-around in the fresh air. Two wooden gates form an "airlock" to prevent any escapes. They're allowed onto her furniture, and she's a great photographer. Unlike another sitter we contacted through Rover -- who leaves the dogs home alone while she goes to work -- Diana works from home, so our guys get the attention they deserve.”

About: I have a caring nature, I make sure pet’s needs are met everyday. I have a Dog since the past 10 years. I make sure he is socialized. Since, I am a stay-at-home, I will devote full-time to your pet. As I am available most of the day, I will be able to take care of him & keep him company. Dogs need love. I take my dog for walks everyday & make sure he has water. I live in a house, your pet will have ample space to move around.

About: A couple years back, I left my fur babies at a locally-owned and well-rated boarding facility for 10 days. It wasn't the first time I'd left them at a boarding facility, but it was the first time I questioned how well they were actually being taken care of. Were they being fed? I'm sure they were. But aside from that, were they getting any attention at all? I didn't see them on the doggie cam for 10 days, and when I picked them up I was handed a chewed-up harness and my puppy had a scratch on her nose that the vet later said looked as if she was using her nose to try to get out of a crate/cage. That was when I decided I would never again leave my fur babies at a boarding facility, and that I would offer my services to other pet parents so that they could enjoy their vacation without having to worry about their babies. A little about me: I’ve been taking care of pets from the ripe old age of 8 when I managed to talk my mother into a grey-cheeked parakeet - including but not limited to dogs, cats, and bunnies. Your pup will be pampered by me personally and have plenty of company with Mabel Rue, the miniature dachshund; Murray Bartolo, the one-eyed terrier; and last but not least, Socks the cat. I work from home, which means I’m home all day and night and your furry friend will likely be tired of seeing me by the time you return home from vacation! I have two small dogs and a cat - who stays as far away from them as she can get. I only watch one pet at a time, and I’m happy to follow instructions such as solo walks in the park, separate eating areas, etc.
