“Lyne is a fantastic house and pet sitter! She took such good care of our dog for 10 days while we were out of the country. Lyne sent us photos and videos and kept in contact throughout our trip, which was so reassuring and helped my Fiance and I truly relax and have fun while on our vacation. When returned home from our trip, the house was clean and tidy which was nice to come home to. I absolutely highly recommend Lyne for house and pet sitting, she is reliable, trustworthy and so friendly to work with.”

“Chantal was amazing with my dog. She had a hard time with new people but Chantal was calm and great and my dog warmed up very nicely. The house was left clean which was a huge relief 😅”

“Kayla did an incredible job looking after our senior dog. She was right on time to start, communicated regularly giving us confidence that she was looking after our pup and home. She had incredible patience as Molly's pace is very, very slow, lots of sniffs and sitting down and watching the world go by. Thanks again Kayla!”

About: I look forward to getting to know your pup, and helping you give them what they need, whether you are away, or are just swamped! I grew up, caring for the family's high energy German Shepherd and Border Collie. When I went to college, I began looking after friends' dogs over night: meals, town and trail walks, water playing, poop clean ups, bed time routines, tick checks in the evening while they settle in for the night. Since then, I have helped manage dogs in work camp settings, and in homes, for friends and coworkers. I have some experience with puppies, seniors and high stress dogs. I have house sat for single nights, weekends, and several weeks at a time, which I enjoy because it helps me get to know your dog better! I am tidy, respectful of your house rules, and I enjoy caring for houseplants when everyone is put to bed. I am living in Duncan, and working in Mesachie Lake. I am happy to do early morning walks, or walks and sitting afer 3:30 pm, throughout the week Monday -Friday. and full days on weekends. I am available for 30minute lunchtime walks in Lake Cowichan Monday - Friday. I am available to house sit upon scheduling request: weekends and weekdays are all fair game! I am respectful of homes, dogs needs and their stresses. For dog walking, I will walk dogs often in leashed areas. I enjoy bringing dogs to off leash trails -only upon your consent- if your dog has shown good recall, and is safe with other dogs and people. The safety of your dogs and other people is at the forefront of my priorities. I will keep you updated on your dog, on walks, checkups or dog sitting. Throughout the day, I'll check out your dog's poops, make sure they don't get into garbage, and following your rules for greeting dogs and other people. For dog sitting, I am attentive to the dog morning, noon and in the evenings. I will not leave the house for more than 4 hours on weekends. I will play with them inside and outdoors, and ensure they get frequent pee and poop breaks.

“According to Bailey, our Maltese, Pat treated him with attention and affection like never before (except from us) while we were away on Christmas vacation: he frankly hated to see her leave. Pat responded to our enquiry promptly and met with us on two occasions to get all the details regarding staying in our home, including Bailey's culinary details and exercise and sleeping preferences. Upon our return we found everything as we had left it and a very happy Bailey eager to have us go on another vacation in order to have fun with Pat again. We highly recommend Pat as she saved the situation for us. Initially, we did some "interviews" with a local kennel but were rejected since all Bailey did during the "all day trial" was try to escape. On future trips, Pat will be the first person we'll contact for the job.”

“Jenn was incredible! She was so communicative, kind, and attentive to our sweet, anxious dog. She followed our instructions for him to T, and when we came home, he was just so happy. Plus, our house was cleaner when we came home then when we left! What a treat! Our dog has been nervous in the past with other sitters, but we could tell he was happy and comfortable with Jenn right away. She and Adam really have a way with dogs, and we're so grateful that we found them. Will definitely be booking them again soon!”

“Alora was excellent with our senior, Rottie mix, Sisi. Sisi can be quite particular, especially with new faces, but Alora handled it with grace and patience and quickly gained Sisi's trust and affection. She kept me up to date, and asked questions as necessary to ensure Sisi's ultimate comfort. We will definitely be booking Alora next time we need a sitter!”

“Sam sat for our 60 lb, energetic, and slightly anxious dog for 5 days at our home. Ellie was immediately comfortable with Sam. They seemed to be having a great time together from the photos Sam sent of walks, exercising, and relaxing. We highly recommend Sam and will use them again when we need a dog-sitter!”

“Richelle was an amazing pet sitter for Peggy Sue, Billie Jean and James.. We had no worries while we were away. They loved playing with little Aria and Richelle sent us videos everyday to assure us that our doggies were having a good time and being cared for.. If you are looking for a caring person to look after your pets, I would recommend Richelle as a pet sitter..”

She is incredibly trustworthy, patient, compassionate and conscientious, and can capably take care of my 80 lb lab/pittie mix, whether for walks or longer stints of petsitting. My dog is anxious and reactive to other dogs, and Rose made me feel at ease while also following our existing training plan. Thanks Rose!!!”
