About: I am endlessly patient with animals, and enjoy engaging dogs and cats in exercise and stimulation while they are under my care. I am a firm believer that exercise and stability is the best way to keep a dog happy, and I enjoy being outside and active, no matter the weather. I've trained multiple dogs over my lifetime, and have extensive experience with large and stubborn dogs, including escape artists and ultra-smart furry friends. If you are currently training your pup, and would like consistent commands used, I understand and am happy to use the words you have selected. I am responsible, punctual, and able to give medications and special care as required. If you have any special requests or special care required for your family member, I am happy to accommodate.

First time Rover users and could not recommend Brena more! Our cat Bigfoot’s temperament upon meeting her and our return said it all, she was a happy kitty. We were quite nervous about leaving her as she is quite social with us and we have no other pets. Also, unsure about using someone you don’t know personally, but choosing Brena was the best choice. She’s knowledgeable about cats (and other animals) and knew exactly how to interact with her. Bigfoot also has a medical condition that Brena was very attentive to when we explained the details. She came at the same time every day and let Bigfoot lead, Bigfoot was very happy to see her every day and went to her for pets every day. She went above and beyond some days and did extra little things, like opening the windows for fresh air for Bigfoot and shooed away the neighbour cat that likes to visit our cat in the window. We are very grateful we found Brena and that we tried Rover. She and this service definitely gave us some peace of mind while travelling away from our fur baby and we will rebook 100% for sure. Highly recommend Brena.
Is there such a thing as a "perfect" cat sitter? I'm not sure. But if there is, it's Shayane. I've hired about 10 sitters from Rover and have had my favourites. But Shayane left all of them in their dust. Her cat care is 5 stars. Her photos are 5 stars cute and crisp. Her communication is 5 stars. And then she went above and beyond... making routine checks on plumbing (didn't even ask her to!) and double checking that I had returned at the end and the cats were again cared for. Meticulous, conscientious, extremely competent, and overall a pleasure. Highly recommended!
I highly recommend Devon to take care of your pet! She’s very dedicated, reliable, and shows the upmost care for animals. Devon listened to my instructions carefully and provided my cat with the activities he likes! She went above and beyond by bringing him special treats and spending extra time with him!

I recently had Jaida take care of my two cats, Mohanat and Mahir, while I was away, and she did an incredible job! From the start, she was professional, reliable, and showed a genuine love for animals. Mohanat and Mahir can be a bit picky with new people, but they warmed up to Jaida quickly, which says a lot about her patience and care. She followed all my instructions perfectly, kept their routine consistent, and even took the time to play with them. I really appreciated the regular updates, including photos and little notes on how they were doing—it gave me so much peace of mind. Not only did she ensure they were well-fed and happy, but she also kept my home tidy and everything in order. I came back to two very content and well-cared-for cats, which I’m super grateful for. If you need a responsible and caring pet sitter, I highly recommend Jaida! I’ll definitely trust her with Mohanat and Mahir again in the future.
Sharon did a great job with Princess. Arrived on time and spent some extra time with Princess to ensure his needs and routine were fully taken care of. He was in good spirits when we arrived back home which tells me all went well with the visit. Looking forward to booking Sharon again for some drop ins as well as an overnight stay block in the new year.
