About: I have taken care of various types of dog babies across many states. I learn quickly about what a dog needs especially when factoring in weather. I work from home most days and run in the evening. Usually long distance runs are in the morning so not inconvenient for night stays. For my home, I have a very spacious dog park and closed in balcony. Also live close to the riverwalk for night walks. There is space in home for medium sized crates if necessary.

About: *My partner and I are fosters for the Windsor Humane Society, so sometimes we may have a pet with us (but I will be sure to let you know if I do)* I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I’m the kind of person who stops and pets stray cats or admires your dog from afar. I always had a pet growing up. Currently, my family back home has an American bulldog and 2 small chihuahuas, so I have experience with both large and small breeds. I also have some experience caring for senior pets. I’m at school on weekdays from about 9am-3pm. But my schedule is flexible for drop-ins and walks. I can pet board on weekends and weekdays (drop-off before 9am and after 4pm on weekdays but I can be flexible) I currently live in an apartment, so no yard is available. However, the waterfront is a short 2 min walk away and there are plenty of green spaces and parks in area. I love to be active, so if your dog likes to run, I can keep up! Pets are a huge part of families and that’s how I treat them… like family.

Melissa was amazing! I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the care, love, and attention she gave my three cats while I was away. She is not only incredibly trustworthy and responsible, but was also deeply intuitive and gentle with my cats. One of my them needed extra attention, and Melissa didn’t hesitate to check in on him even when it wasn’t a scheduled visit, just out of kindness and concern. That kind of compassion is rare and meant the world to me. She kept me updated with detailed messages and the sweetest photos, which gave me so much peace of mind.
