About: I have had dogs my entire life. Fun fact: my first word was doggie. I’ve dealt with all kinds of breeds: Keeshond, pug, chihuahua, jack russell, lab, Australian shepherd, you name it! I SO enjoy dogs, and treat them (perhaps) better than family at times. I firmly believe that dogs are a humans best friend and just want to share my love of them by helping people care for them. I had a pug for many years and towards the end of her life, I bought her a wheelchair and a doggie stroller so she could still enjoy the outdoors with myself and my other (now senior) dog. I moved to Birch Bay in February and was commuting to work in Canada up until the end of June. Since then, I have been looking for work and secured a few house cleaning and Airbnb cleaning jobs for the time being. That being said, I am local and available almost all the time now. I take my own dog out about 5-6 times a day and have been assisting my neighbours dogs (2 golden retrievers) while they’ve been away on shorter trips. While I do live in a condo with stairs, there are several grassed areas in my complex where dogs can relieve themselves. We even have dog bag stations throughout the complex and many owners and renters have dogs here, I can name all of them in my building. My dog goes where I go. She’s allowed on the couch, she’s allowed on my bed. My house is her house as well.

About: About this sitte I've been a dog lover and owner of both small and medium dogs for the past 25+ years. I've had young dogs, old dogs, sickly dogs and can handle any situation. I have experience administering medications, injections, etc. I’ve also had several cats over the years and understand their idiosyncrasies. I prefer small to medium dogs but am open to caring for large dogs as long as they aren’t known to be aggressive or have a bite history. I'm a retired RN with time now to pursue things I enjoy, one of which is caring for pets. I have two senior dogs of my own so understand how difficult it can be to find someone who is trustworthy, reliable and who will care for them as they would their own. My schedule is flexible, available most days and times. At this point, I am not offering house sitting or boarding in my home. In the near future, I may decide to update my services to include boarding in my home. I live in a dog friendly neighborhood, a house with a fully fenced yard and a special “cookie” cabinet just for them.

About: My family and I raised a Bernese Mountain Dog from puppy to adulthood, so we’re experienced with both young and senior dogs. We treat every dog like part of the family — with love, patience, and lots of playtime. Your pup will feel right at home with us! What's more, we have two boys who really like dogs, which is the reason for us to take pet care business. Me and my husband Oliver remote work for a trading company based in China, so most of our working time are at night. We have plenty of time to play with the dogs. I have a fenced yard and my two boys love playing with dogs. We will keep your dog company and loved with safety. We have experience to take care of dogs.

About: I have grown up around dogs and have loved dogs since I was born- I even rescued my own puppy from the highway this past year! In college I dog walked a puppy 3 times a week and grew super close to her (and miss her everyday!). Your animal and I will become BFFs instantly. I work M-Th 6-4pm so I can only do drop-in visits or walks T/Th after 4:30 pm or on the weekends. That is the ideal time for you to take a break, run some errands, and let me love on your pup/kitty! I care for animals with the understanding that they are just that- animals. We work on behavior by improving each time and acting with love and grace. Now I can get stern when I need to, but my first thought is always 'how can puppy learn from this?'.

About: Me caring for dogs on Rover is purely for the love of it. I’ve never owned a dog but I’ve always taken care of my friend’s pets and this is my way of spending time with them and giving them the love they deserve. I work an office 8-4, but I’m always free in the evenings and weekends and can be flexible with timings. Just let me know what works for you and we can make it work! I live on the first floor of a new apartment building in south surrey and have a nice yard with grass for your dog to get some fresh air. My home also doesn’t have any carpet in the area that dog would spend time in. My house is clutter free and would be a comfortable space for your dog. I also have a dog park a 2 minute walk from my home, where I can give your dog some great exercise!

About: I have volunteered at the SPCA at two different locations. I walked dogs, cat care, taken care of pigs and horses. Which involved cleaning their cages or stalls and also feeding. I have pet/house sat for people and do for my sister whenever she needs. I have taken care of co-workers dogs, taken care of neighbours cats when they were away. I am presently not working so I have a lot of time to spend with your fur babies. I am available anytime and any day. I live in a condo with my two cats. I can go to peoples homes to take care of their dogs or cats. I prefer not to bring other animals into my home. I can pet/house sit and go to my home to take care of my two.

About: I have been working at a Dog Boarding facility and day care for a year now. I have experience in basic care and training, working with puppies, administering medications, and senior care. I’m currently working part time and have extra availability to walk and take care of more animals! My shifts at the moment are pretty random, but other then that I’m super flexible. I’ve had dogs all my life but currently have two cats and three dogs. In order to maintain a safe and clean living environment for my pets i wash food bowls everyday, make sure litters are clean, and give playtime for mental stimulation.

Dogs are allowed on furniture, bed. It's pretty much their home as much as it is mine. I do have playpens if you'd like me to restrict access. I have a lot of experience training puppies, reactive dogs and your dog will be in safe hands while you're away.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life! I have been in the 4-H Program since I was nine years old, in which I learned how to train and compete in obedience competition's with my own dog, and others' dogs as well. Coming from a farming family, I have experience caring for all kinds of pets, such as dogs, cats, rabbits, and even sheep. I'm happy to help out however possible! I am a full-time student, so my schedule is relatively flexible. When I'm not attending my classes at university, I am fully available to help out. About: Your baby can snuggle on my bed with me at night and I’ll take them everywhere with me if that’s what they need. If you have a high energy dog, I will run, jump and play with them. I have lots of energy and time and I love love love dogs! I live 10 minutes from the beach and right next to miles of wooded trails. I’m in a gated townhouse complex with a fenced back deck. I am flexible with time and have unlimited love to give your precious family member. I have an 8 year old male Westie cross rescue named Scruffy who is good with other dogs. I just retired so have nothing but time on my hands to spend playing with dogs! If your dog is okay in the car we will make sure he/she is strapped in and safe when we go out to explore new areas and parks, and if not we can explore the woods just outside my complex. I have an 8 year old male westie cross so once we make sure they get along, we'll have a blast. Your dog will be a member of the family and we will make sure he/she is comfortable with whatever activities come our way. Safety and contentment is the priority.

About: Growing up on a farm I’ve taken care of many animals of all shapes & sizes. I have experience with crate training & my cherished pastimes is taking my dogs Maggie & Mini for walks on their favourite trails.
